Nice video. Very objective. We asked about the key location and they said they tried it in other positions but in light rain etc. water seeped in the battery compartment where as underneath no water penetrated the battery compartment. We just ordered two Lectric XP 2.0 step thru-one white and one black. Father’s Day special the bikes come with the comfort packages free. Great deal. Can’t wait for them to arrive so we can get riding 😊 Thank you for making this video.
Would be better to have the key on the handlebar to just be able to turn the ebike on and off like many electric scooters have. Have the bottom key hole just to unlock the battery to be able to take out would be a much better idea.
I too have a Lectric XP 2.0, I do agree with the outside Battery access Plug, mine will not stay in, needs improvement, my Brakes noises, need adjustments., I bought "FlatOut" Tire Sealant to help protect From Flat tires. Yes, Safety Flashing Lights are highly suggested front & Rear.
Love watching your video. Your dislikes are the exact same as me. I wish lectric would make the key being placed on the handlebar like some electric scooters have. The charging plug cover I find takes me a bit of time to put in properly. The very first thing I did right after my first ride was replace the seat to a more comfortable seat. The original seat is fine for the first 10 minutes of riding then butt starts to hurt. My next thing I'll be replacing is the kickstand cause the one lectric has seems to look like it bends when it's leaning and I don't trust lectrics kickstand cause I'm afraid of my ebike tipping over and break something. But other then that I love my ebike alot.
Mine had cosmetic damage to a decal which they replaced and also the display glass was shattered though still holding together so that I could actually use the bike. They sent me a new one of those too.
Great, I have to contact them my rear hub is making a clicking noise. I think a bearing is bad but we'll see. Have 160 miles on it now, no issues with my wifes.
I like that YLG seat for sure. I don't have enough cushion down there. With those baskets mounted, especially the Walmart one, do you fold the bikes with the basket still on?
We just got back from a camping trip [working on video now] and put 25 miles on and still had half a charge left. The terrain was pretty level. It all depends on terrain and how much you pedal vs just using the throttle.
Nice video! I have preordered the XPremium from Lectric. Any option of it form what you have heard? It seems like it may address sone of the dislikes you have with the 2.0. Thoughts? Thanks again!
Sorry haven't seen or researched the premium yet. I'm sure you'll enjoy your bike. They have great customer service and listen to suggestions to improve their product.
@@milesofsmilesrving thanks! A couple weeks ago they announced the XPremium with hydraulic brakes, mid drive and two batteries that are supposedly 100+ Mike range. Looks interesting.
Yes you can still peddle the bike if the battery goes dead. Note it is a heavy bike at around 66#,. But battery life is good and depending on terrain you can go quite a ways.

Is your mirror 70mm or 80mm diameter. I bought both and find the 80mm is quite convex and things appear a lot further away. ie. OBJECTS ARE CLOSER THAN THEY APPEAR.
The mirror is convex. 3 inches or about 77 mm. I like the mirror and mounting as it is clear and allows me to see traffic coming up on me. The link to the mirror is in one of the comments below.

Mike, congrats on your purchase. We certainly enjoy are bikes. Take your time and get acquainted with operating your bikes. We got our mirrors from Amazon. No we don't. We have a tow behind travel trailer ( toy hauler). Originally when we hauled them we folded them and put them in a big tub we got from Lowe's. But the bikes are heavy, 62# and it would be a two person operation, my wife and I. I now haul them upright light a motorcycle in the trailer, much easier on the back. One thing I love is the ease to raise or lower the set or handle bars which comes in handy when hauling. We're both 66 so what ever we can do to make things easier the better. Thanks for the kind post .
