    He wasn't even being hard on it...it has power to spare. Thanks for checking it out!

    That's cool that he put one together himself. I have a video of a factory five cobra coming up soon.

    It really is a monster....those Cleveland heads definitely get the job done.

    It's definitely not for the faint of heart. Thanks for taking a look at it.

    I think he was just taking it nice and easy because we had some scary moments earlier. That car has a ridiculous amount of power...you really have to stay on top of things.

    I've been in some pretty wild cars over the years, but none that were any more fun than this one. That thing is wicked fast.

    Thanks for taking a look Jos. It is an awesome machine for sure.

    It's extremely quick....with the right tires, it would hang with almost anything. The owner of Fast Lane has a Cobra that runs in the low 9 second range in the quarter, so if you get the set-up just right, they can be quicker than any supercar on the road.

    I thought you might like this one. It's the wildest thing I've ever been in. I've ridden in Hemi Cuda's, Shelby Mustangs, ZR1's....and none of them give you the wild ride that this thing can.

    What a fine example of the Cobra, I'm digging that they went with a 351 too. Thanks so much for sharing!

    My dad had the factory five cobra. Took him 4 years to built. It was SO sexy!

  • @RamblinAround
    @RamblinAround  12 років тому

    Trust me, it has more power than it can use. Every time he'd get even near full throttle, it would break loose.

    I'm a big fan of the "Cleavor" engine, nothing sounds or feels like it anywhere else in the automotive world. Very sweet ride Brother, keep 'em coming!

  • @RamblinAround
    @RamblinAround  11 років тому +1

    It doesn't look like it's lacking any power to me. In fact, it has more power than most people could handle already.

  • @RamblinAround

    You're definitely right, it runs just as good as the real thing, but it's not so valuable that you're afraid to drive it. Thanks for watching, Richard!

    Those heads must be great, because that thing was a monster. That car could get loose even in 4th...it was a wicked beast.

    Technically those are SVO heads. They are based on Cleveland heads but even better. These were what were raced on Fords in NASCAR and other series in the 80's and early 90's before the Yates heads replaced them. They are awesome heads. They will fit either a 335 series block (Cleveland) or the 90 deg V8 (Windsor) engines.

    Nothing beats the real deal but that price tag certainly makes it doable.

    I had a 1934 Ford 3 window pro street hot rod with a clevor 352 Windsor with Cleveland heads. It’s a 351 Windsor block with two barrel heads from a Cleveland heads.

    You couldn't use any more power than this one has anyway. It broke the tires loose every time he got near full throttle. That windsor/cleveland hybrid has a stupid amount of power.
