I was 16 and had no idea how she found us. I do remember she had just graduated college in DC around that time. She was beautiful, sweet, generous and kind to us. We really had no idea how successful she had become at that time. She really enjoyed our little gig and I will never forget those 3,4 minutes in the groove with her. She was so polished, and professional. It really worked. Thank You Carla, You have been an inspiration to me and it has taken many years to realize how much so. I love you and your Dad very much. I still play guitar R & B because of you and my soul is better for it.
