  • We had a folded treadmill belt, which led to a few lessons we learned the hard way. First, if you start to notice your treadmill belt shifting to one side, then you'll need to switch the treadmill off immediately, otherwise you may end up with a problem like the one you see here. We will show you how to make adjustments so that the belt is centered. We will also show you how to replace the treadmill belt (very detailed step-by-step guide).
Also, have you heard of this treadmill "walking belt guide"? No one has talked about this, and it took us significant time and effort to get any information from the manufacturer, but we found it was a very important part for keeping the belt centered. We are sharing this with all of you also so that the walking belt guide will not cause unnecessary wear and tear of the belt.

With this video as a reference I was able to take the old belt off and re-laminate the loose sections with a clothes iron. When I put it back on the whole belt had shrunk a little bit and I could tension it without it creasing up again.

Well demonstrated and narrated. Excellent detail, especially noting why the folds appeared due to the breakdown of the belt and separation of the layers. Bravo!

Yeah, the look at why the belt is breaking down in the first place is really helpful. Also the information about what side the belt runs on the belt guides is good to have, I would have assumed it was that way but having confirmation from the manufacturer is best.

Is there a way to use old belt? My friend had same issue, belt is stretched on one side and lifted. Tightening didn’t help

    Good evening
I have benefited greatly from your channel
I bought a new belt and it fits very well.
    - The sound of the machine has improved
The machine is not heating up
    - And we finished touching the electrode in the handle
    *I have two questions
1- After I installed the belt, I began to hear a sound as if it was the sound of wood. This is if I was running in front near the machine, but if I went back away from the machine, I did not hear the sound, and I made sure that the wood screws were tightened. Where does this sound come from?
2- My device is the F85, and I walk on it for a full hour between walking and running.
Some of them told me that this burns the machine because the device cannot bear it, so what is correct?

      1. don't quite understand your "sound of wood", did you mean scraping or crunching noise? A new belt would have more noise, as you use it more the noise would be reduced. Also you need to lubricate the belt.
      2. usually the lifespan is a function of number of hours used. But if it is really generating a large amount of heat and can not dissipate fast enough, high temperature could shorten rubber lifespan a little bit.
