One of my favorite looking motorcycles. And it actually does ride well. Trying to get that red one lent to me for a day. Would love to put a few hundred miles on her. Wahoo!
Brother loves his Fury too. He's a few years younger than us but like you has always had bikes. I've rode it a few times and am trying to get him to lend it to me for a long ride...say about 400-500 miles. Wahoo!
I Love my 2011 Fury! My Bike is totally custom. Everything on my bike is aftermarket and I get so many compliments every time I'm out with it. From the LED show lights, to the painted murals, the pipes, Custom seat and sissy bar, to the Satin Matte orange finish with Ghost Flames.
Your bike sounds like a really good looking machine. Where abouts are you located? Always love to see a great looking Fury. One of my all time favorite motorcycles. Wahoo!
Bike needs side mounted license plate and red lenses on those rear blinkers, turn em into run, turn brake lights. Other than that I'm 6' tall so I would install aftermarket forward controls. Cool cruiser, you got a nice one
Biggest problem with choppers in 1966-68 in Cali was the rake in itself front forks was weded by owners and some were over anxious and welded themselves...so a pot hole or a four way stoplight and they would snap at high speed ...then a hard tail in a. Pot hole would laun h you the ty feet up as I have seen this I still remember what the guy shouted as it happened... so this bike is very well done.well
Fabulous Bike. The Fury is terrific, love these motorcycles. Just met with a fellow last night that tours on a 2010 Fury. Bike has 54,000 miles on her and has been to every state west of the Mississippi River. Should have a video on it coming out in a few day. What got you to pull the trigger and get your Fury? What type of riding will you do on her? Thanks!
@@forgottenmotorcycles 54k is awesome! These engines are bullet proof. Always loved the style of the fury and since this is my first brand new bike I went after exactly what I wanted. Most of my riding is just cruising and finding new roads to explore in TX. I'll be setting up some longer trips this fall. Put 40k on my victory and wanted to make some memories building miles from scratch. I put mini foot plates on and it's made longer rides so much more comfortable. ( Longest so far about 350 miles) also put a Memphis shades clear windshield on which really helps with wind and bug resistance at highway speeds and doesn't take your eye away from the look of the bike. Looking forward to seeing your videos. Stay safe.
I rode one of theses years ago and felt the ride quality was very good, the only problem was I was used to a third gen Honda Magna 750 V Four and was disappointed that the 1300’s acceleration was not as goood as the Magna’s. I still have it and ride a Honda CTX1300A for long rides now. The Fury does look good. At myvge 76, I want a windshield for protection and it would look kind of funky on the Fury.
💜 I have the 'geezer chopper' version of the Fury. My 2015 Interstate came with factory windshield, floorboards, and leather covered hardbags. I've added Honda sissybar/luggage rack, Lindby engine guard, hwy pegs, and stereo. Over 21,000 trouble-free miles in 5 years have seen AR, KS, TX, NM, CO, MO, and OK...
@@chrissexton1587 we're trying to figure out what kind of rain protection firing to put on it. With a bike like this you don't want to ruin the look in any way.
@@forgottenmotorcycles I ended up buying a brand new one! Thanks to your video and a few others on their opinions and videos of the Fury it convinced me. So I bought one last month. I love it, the Fury is a well put together bike and what I love is that there are so many Mods out there to customize it to anyone’s own personality and style. Not to mention the dependability of Honda. I plan of putting a Cobra exhaust.
I love me some RED motorcycle. Killer. I know the VTX 1300 is a rad engine and shaft drive, like my Goldwing is what I’ve ridden since 1980. The bike needs a rear backstop but that one is a little too minimalist With that length in spite of the 2grand torque number you won’t have to worry about the wheelies I was always getting suprised by when I was riding ST1300s. Great looking, easy riding. NOW, put a one gallon bigger tank on it. As for storage, the taller sissy bar would let you put a piece of rider luggage on the back seat. You can fit a bunch of stuff in a simple square travel bag.
Love the red on red color. The engine is great for torque and sound, plenty of power for this type of bike. Brother has talked about a taller sissy bar or even a king/queen seat. At this point when we ride he wears a backpack for storage. We've really had a lot of fun with this Fury. Wahoo!
I don't really have an answer for you on that. I know it looked really good. The bike belongs to my brother and he has put a Corbin king queen seat on it now. Really something to look at. I'll try to get some video of that bike soon, or when it warms up.
I've been looking at the identical bike locally and just having a hard time deciding to part with the money. Mind if I ask what your brother paid for his?
Great looking bike. I bought brand new in 2016, matte grey.
The Fury is a great motorcycle!
It hasn't changed in 10 years. That speaks volumes. If it ain't broke....

I want one of those very bad! They hit it out of the park with that one! Honda reliability!
Beautiful bike. Hope brother keeps this one a long time.

I am an old chopper guy; its a young mans ride. I converted to a bagger and never regretted it. Should have done it years ago.
Honda did a great job of making an American style motorcycle. Looks great in red too :)
What a gorgeous bike absolutely love it. One of the best looking Choppers I've ever seen. Your brother is a lucky man.
These are fabulous bikes. Love the look, love the sound, love the way they ride too. Fabulous!

Good looking bike for sure, but I did like the Sabre / Stateline better.

Finally found one with the passenger seat and sissy bar. What is it like with and for a passenger?

Did you put a tuner with those pipes or did Honda have to remap anything? Thanks
I think he bought the bike used with the pipes installed. So, we're not sure what they did they did. The bike does run well.

Is that a hard tail bike?
It has a monoshock on the rear under the seat. It does look like a hardtail. It has a pretty good ride.
hi, how long is the stock clutch cable ? i snapped mine on mine ape bars and would like to know if the stock is gonna fit . cheers
I'm not sure what that number would be. Give Honda a call, they should be able to help you out.
Radiator likes anti freeze?
I'm guessing so
Is it big enough for someone 6' 2"?
