I saw this video 6 months ago and after watching it and doing some homework I was able to find a 2011 in the matte orange with 600 miles on it. I'm 5'8 175 and haven't owned a bike in 20 years and let me tell you this is a smooth easy to ride bike. My only real issues is Pennsylvania is a pothole state and road crews feel the need to put 3 inch lips on every driveway so I do scrap. But that's not the bikes fault. Thank you honda for building a good looking bike with a decent amount of power and reliability.

    • @CycleHunters

Yeah PA is a pothole sanctuary. All the money we spend in taxes and the roads and bridges are horrible here. Guess the politicians pockets are more important?

I've been riding mine for 6 years. Awesome bike. As to the minimal branding, that was a brilliant advertising ploy. I'm constantly being asked "What is that!?". "It's a Honda." The rider is advertising the brand ... clever buggers.

No doubt! Honda really stepped their game up for that bike in all our opinions. Such a beautiful bike. The lines are gorgous. My favorite is the tank and how the shape tapers back to the seat.

Been riding for about 20 years. After running the gambit of middle weight cruisers and nakeds it feels like it's time to get a big lazy chill cruiser. This ticks so many boxes and the fact that they put ABS in the newer models is making it even more enticing. This is the country road cruiser that I gotta get.

I have a 2014 fury. love it to death. no other bike matches it in style and looks imo. i see shorter more standard cruisers and think they look tiny even if they're beefer in the engine department. rides great. this was my first bike after about a 9 year period of not riding (crazy, how could i have!) anyway, first bike i rode after 9 years without was a fury and i feel it handles GREAT. only thing i might comment is doing a 5 point turn in the garage to park it can be harder due to the long wheelbase. but on the road or u-turns, never had an issue. oh, and the tank is a little small. 160 miles a tank isn't the best, but i wouldn't change a thing on the bikes looks for a slightly bigger tank at all. its a piece of art.

Honda fury chopper has a driveshaft … I love it … maintenance free and you can see that big beautiful rim … my view is it’s better then any Harley I’ve owned or ridden … it’s the most beautiful and comfortable bike I’ve seen outside a custom show bike … I’m not sure I think the bike needs s bigger engine …. I drive 85 mph on the freeway … and it will do it … a 6 speed tranny and a fuel gauge is all it needs … and I’m betting there is after market parts to accomplish this …. Great bike

I love the look of this bike but not really practical for me. We do 200+ mile rides and cant justify putting a windshield or fairing on this bike. It would kill the look. But they really should have put the 1800 in it. I ride a vtx 1800c and even in 100° heat rarely hear the fan kick on. Oh and a sixth gear. Then it would be perfect.

There are far worse choices but there are also alot of better choices.
Sit back and really think about what you actually want to do when your riding. This is basically a bar hopper bike, it can tour and commute with some mods and accessories but it's short range and lack of storage would be a issue. It's not a fast bike but it has enough to get out of its own way.

How do you guys feel about this as a first bike?

You want to ride within your limits as a beginner. Not that this bike would necessarily be outside of your current ability. Depending on your size, riding experience, and general overall confidence being strong, yeah its a candidate!
