I’m 4 years late ⏰, but this is a great 👍🏼 video / test drive on the Honda Fury. I bought a brand new Fury a few months ago, 2022 with just a few miles on it (7 miles only) . Just went out on one test drive and sat in the showroom until I bought it in 2024, nobody like the black & yellow colors I guess but after I sat on the Fury I knew it was meant for me! Bought it, had it delivered. Just got some black Cobra Speedster Swept exhaust, just got a motorcycle jack-lift so it’s easier to work on when adding Mods. Planning on getting a Cobra PowerFlo next. Fury is a great motorcycle and you can Mod it if you want to custom it for your type of riding & personality. So dependable and fun to drive.
Not sure about the 2010 but my 2014 is fuel injected, I’ve started it just fine at 35°F. Also, 650-680lbs on a 1300cc V Twin is very light for a cruiser! That’s part of what I love about it. It’s low, it’s light (for a big cruiser), and it’s smooth
FYI when you stop at a light you don't ride in the middle of the lane where all the cars have leaked oil for years. Just like you don't ride in the middle, that's where most objects collect on the road. Stay safe, I love my fury.
Thanks. I made this video a few years back. I had just started riding. At the same time when you are vlogging you aren’t always thinking about where you are stopping ing in the lane. Lol Glad you are enjoying your Fury! Thanks for watching!
Great review. I have one and I love it yes it does have a few cons. You'll need an after market seat if your going on a long journey that's for sure its not the fastest by a long shot but hey it's a cruiser. It lacks the ability to carry a lot of equipment for camping trips if that's your thing and there is a lot of plastic on it. The Pros it looks awesome it's got a bullet proof engine it's so easy to work on if you need to once you have you after market seat you can ride for hours it's very comfy. You get about 120 miles per tank and it's so easy to handle. I've had a Yamaha 1700 and a M109r but this is more fun that both. It's not for the speed freaks but if you wanna cruise all day long and chill then this is the go to bike for sure
One way to know is if the bike doesn't have a choke, it's fuel injected. I was actually going to comment that the 2010 Fury is fuel injected but Nick beat me to it. I'm shopping for one!!
Hello from Russia! Thanks for the review. This bike has one minus: passers-by always take pictures of you) And yes, I think European with ABS, a combined brake, three cylinders in front and two in the back. When you slow down, you get the feeling that you have dropped anchor. Yes, sometimes you want better overclocking. Perhaps I will someday exchange for Triumph Rocket 3R. But it will be a completely different story ...
Hey Eric I do appreciate your review on the fury I'm thinking about trading up my shadow for the fury I really like the style the bike has. Thank again for your review its awesome to hear a hard core sports bike rider like you giving thumb up on a cruiser!
Got my '19 after 10 yrs off of bikes. Put bout 4k miles on it and then made subtle changes. 2in risers, C&C seat mini boards and Cobra slip on's a tail rack and LEDs. Threw on throw over saddlebags and spent 7 weeks riding from NC to NY/Chicago/Vegas/LA-SD/Phnx/Dal/NO and back home. Awesome trip, bike did great. My one complaint...too small of a gas tank. A Stateline tank fits the Fury but it changes its unique flow lines...
Great review man. 2 things to note that I noticed right away about that bike, it has what looks like either 2 or 3 inch risers on the bars, that paired with the aftermarket Mustang seat definitely makes the riding position much more upright and comfortable. The stock seat and bars definitely would have you crouched over slightly. And yeah that aftermarket exhaust on that one also is giving it a bit more of a robust sound over the stock exhaust. I just finally bought my Fury this past Saturday. Put over 200 miles on it the first day and a little over 170 the third day (had bad storms all day the 2nd day lol) it was all stock for those rides. And you're right about the price, I got mine brand new for just over 10k out the door. I'd wanted one since they came out in 2010, am very happy with the purchase. Already got a Mustang seat, break away cruise control, Kuryakyn ISO grips w/throttle boss, and a Power Commander V for it. Gonna wait till after the 600 mile maintenance to install the PCV though, lol.
Nice! Glad you are enjoying your new bike! Yeah there may have been a couple of things I missed on the bike but just wanted to at least give the average Joe a little overview. Thanks for watching! 😊
@@itsmeericb yup absolutely loving the bike so far. And no worries, lol, just wanted to point it out in case someone watched then hopped on one and wondered why they were crouched over a bit.
lol "heavier bike" Im used to 900+ lb bikes. but it is an EFI, they are great bikes, wish you had looked to see if the pipes were stamped, I did like that sound, the decel grumble was nice sounding. for the wind pushing on you there are some windshields and fairings out there for it. Harley USED to have kind of a second brand called Thunder Mountain, unfortunately they stopped making them, but STARTING price was around 28 grand. nearly 3 times the cost, but you do get extra features and you controlled the build as they were actually built to order.
Yes a great review. I think those Hondas are nice. I'm a HD Softail guy all my life and have owned my Deuce for 16 years now. It's refreshing and interesting to hear what an avid sport bike owner thinks. Now ya know it can be just a sit back and relax ride. I get the manly thing too.Good job. Thanks
Anthony Preece Haha! Thanks! Anything with two wheels will be enjoyable! I just like it better on sport bikes! 😄 I don’t knock cruisers that’s for sure.
I'm getting my first bike here in about a month. I like sport bikes but as a bigger guy, 6'1 270, I've always been more drawn to cruisers. But I may have to look at these fury's because they're so goddamn gorgeous and look fun as hell to ride. Plus from what I've researched there isn't much of a difference between a 2010 fury and a 2020 fury. Honda has kept them pretty consisten through the line's lifecycle
Everything you said is true. I have that 2012. Your super comfy cuz it has an aftermarket Mustang wide touring seat. I have the Cobra swept with the baffles out and it even sounds better!
I know this is an older video. I've watched it a few times because I'm looking at the Fury from my 2000 Honda Shadow 1100 ACE Tourer. I've spoken to people that have the bike, but I'd like to ask you, for someone who had just rode it for the first time, how was the slow turning? I know the rake causes an issue. I can't find any videos of someone taking it out and showing that part. Thanks!
So it’s been a while and I’m trying to remember how it was making a turn. I don’t think it was too bad because I definitely would have said something about it. I rode a Harley Road King once with ape bars and it was very awkward to make slow turns.
I have a Fury. It is a great bike. But it doesn't have anywhere near the power of an M109. But the Suzuki is a much wider bike and to me a bit more clumsier to handle.
I’ve owned over 30 motorcycles over the years from super bikes to cruisers to adventure bikes and my Fury is in my top five favourite motorcycles.

You sold me on it. I'm going to test ride a 2012 in two days. Been wondering how it'll ride, I'm excited. Well done!
Awesome! Glad I was able to help you in your decision! 👏

The 2010, is also fuel injected.

WINDZUP 1700 Great comment! Yes it’s no speed demon, but has good bottom end torque to get up and go.
It’s Me Eric B That being said if you get the ECU flashed then it a whole new ball game.
This bike is most definitely fuel injected, is also water cooled... I own a 2012 and love it ,,,
nick grubbs Thanks! 😄 For some reason I thought I read the 2010 was carbureted.
@@itsmeericb no worries 2010 was actually the first year of that bike production

Oh really? I figured it had a decent size tank. How is the gas mileage?
@@itsmeericb not quite 3.5 gal. As usual mpg varies but fuel light comes on round 120 mi. So bout 45 mpg.
Twistydigit Top Dawg Gotcha, that is about what I get on my GSXR.
Fuel injection and no tach.
Great to see a review by a sports bike bloke really enjoying a cruiser :-) Great review.
I enjoy all bikes! 😁

But yes. Harley made something similar. It was the Rocker C.
This is a good review dude, last one I watched was just some preacher... Keep up the fun work!
Cory The Viking Haha! Thanks!
I love it can't wait to get one 🙏💪💯😎🍻👍
Have been interested in a fury and you have just done it for me thanks.
That AGV helmet is cleaaaaaaannnnn afffff👌🤧
BIKE FEIN Thanks! 😄
They’re cool looking but why didn’t Honda use the 1800 engine?
🤷♂️
1300 is better

Love mine. A sold bike.. and it is honda
all the way i don't ride other kind of bike beside chopper, my favor chopper is old school chopper
I’m curious to know how this compares to the Suzuki M109 and the Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Custom.
IslandSoundz I just filmed a video on the Suzuki M109, but didn’t really compare the two.

Anthony Palmieri Oh yeah the M109r has a lot of torque!
Bunnyshooter 223 It is bigger and heavier than the Fury.
If I’m not mistaken that motor puts around 77 hp
Ah gotcha. Can’t remember if I misspoke on that. Haha!
Awesome review!! Keep up the great work .
The Fox Thanks!
Awesome Eric. I have one of these to compliment my RC8R. 🤙🏼🤙🏼
Ayyye! RC8 gang! 💪
Whay gloves are you wearing I really like them great video bro keep up the good work

Im gonna have you do a review on my Street Glide!

I really enjoyed this review, thanks!
thomas grim You’re welcome!
Im 5'7 you think i can reach the floor ? Clutch etc lol awesome vid by the way man
Thanks! Umm not too sure but you should be able to. I would go hit up a dealer and sit one to see how it feels.
I'm 5'8 and have no problems on this bike. It sits low and very well balanced. I just bought a 2020 almost a month ago and love this bike.
Any idea about the 0-60 time
Chad Boyum Not sure but it was pretty quick. Specs say about 78 ft lbs.
Best production chopper out of 1, there are no other production choppers. I wouldn't call the likes of the raider etc a chopper. Just sayin
oh yeah.
. . . "And stuff like that."
Fuel injected pgmfi
nex one try the Honda vtx 1800 you will be amaze
Jonathan Rodriguez Sounds good! I also want to test out a Suzuki boulevard.
Bro dats it's a good one to
VTX 1800 has been out of production for 12 years. I had one and put 99k trouble free miles on it. Toured the USA on it.
Michael Smith Smith Wow! That is a lot of miles! No worries with reliability!
Rode to 49 states and 5 Canadian provinces on it and it never left me stranded.
