Thanks so much. Got a new VP computer and started fresh with Baller Installer. I could not recall how I got my B2S DMD configured. This was a great help. All set thanks to your refresher!
hello sir. thanks for the video. i want to make an individual resolution for the new beavis and butthead table, so.. where the new renamed file goes? i can get it to work. so this new file would be Beavis and Butt-head_Pinballed.res.txt?
I don't understand what could be wrong. I followed to a T and everything works but the popper part. it will not show on test or game play. everything is EXACLY the way you have it
I HAVE a 3rd screen. I thought it was clear in the description. First person to comment that it isn't clear. "This video shows you how to: 1. set up a b2s dmd to use the bottom half of your 3rd screen 2. place a topper video on the top half or your 3rd screen. 3. modify a mini puppack 4. change the location of a pup screen to another screen"
@@soundscape2k Gotcha. Why are there notes in the ScreenRes helper about 'offset from the upper right edge of the backglass resolution' if you keep referring to the and poingint to the upper left edge of the DMD window as your 'zero' point? Do you mean in reference to the windows display properties, where it shows the 3rd monitor to the 'right' of the backglass display (usually display 2.) ? I realize this isn't a tutorial on how B2S Server draws the image on the screen, but all that opening stuff about offsets X and Y and from where the point of reference is; well it's very confusing. I don't think you really landed the plane on what all of that means and to someone without any background whatsoever it's going to make a trivial task quite difficult. (not throwing salt, just some constructive criticism since you labeled this as a 'how-to'.) In the end, and for those finding these comments; I believe all you really need to to is set the DMD display size in screenres.txt to match what you WANT the size of your DMD to be on that 3rd screen. So long as it's equal to or less than the resolution of the display being used, you're in the clear. There's also an excellent tool for setting all this up; built into pinup popper if you're using that as a front-end.

I rarely comment on Videos, but Thank you for this in depth explanation.
Thanks learned some new today. topper looks great, and was able to scale to right size with your video. thanks again
Thank you for making and posting this video, hopefully with this information i can correct some toppers that are in the incorrect aspect ratio. :)
Been looking for this, great explantion. Worked except the DMD is backwards, lol. I got it figured out. Thanks
Well done. Really like your approach here to explaining how this works. I'll look for more tuts from your channel.
super helpful video dude, thank you!
After re-watching this another question. How is the DMD playing with it off in the PUPeditor ? This is why this stuff can be confusing lol

Yes but without the .txt extension. Only .res extension

so its 1680 and 1681 for the dmd ? doesn't that overlap or is that what is wanted ? best video on the screenres file. thanks.
Hi
i have windows 11 and the B2s backglass wont launch at all
is the b2s the EXACT same name as the vpx?
This really isn’t clear . Did you ADD A 3rd screen ? Or are you using a portion of your 2’nd monitor to put the DMD on ?
