you can also drag the contents of docs, scripts and tables to the appropriate folders if you would like. i typically skip that step unless i have issues. normally the exe and 3 dll's are the only ones i've found necessary to drag over.

tbh, i'm not sure and no longer have a vpin to play around with it.. table should be there.. if it isn't scan for new tables and add it again, or remove it, then add it...
great vid! easy to follow for sure! so if I only have the latest Baller Installer versions (not 64 bit I don't think) can I just get the VPX 10.8 current release zip (64bit) like you did and that's it, or are other updated files required too? first time doing this manually outside of going through the Baller Installer updates. Thanks! the new VPW tables they keep pumping out look awesome, can't wait to try them!!

Question : Do I need to have had VPX 10.74 installed prior to ? And did I also have to have the new 64 bit upgrade added prior for this install. I ask cause it’s not working for me
just saying it's not working doesn't help much. what isn't working? where isn't it working? i think my version is 10.7.3. if you are on 64 bit, you would need the 64 bit version i think. i never used 64 bit, no need yet imo. my paths/file locations may be differnt than yours, so that's what i'd be looking at.
i'm not sure and it's nothing i can play with as i no longer own a vpin :( sorry. i'd say to ask in a facebook group like vpuniverse and they will gladly assist you.
I think that you are missing a procedure. I followed your procedure and when I ran 10.8 it crashed immediately. After watching some other videos, I ended up copying the ASSETS folder from the zip into the VisualPinball folder and I copied all of the scripts into the scripts directory. After that, it worked. Is there a way to copy all my input settings to the newer version? I've been having to redo the inputs every time.

sorry it gave you a hard time. glad you got it going though! i know all machines are a bit different. this just happened to be what worked for me ;)
