    Been waiting for a solid review of these V Cores. Hoping to get my hands on some demos asap. Looking for something like a Blade but with a little extra help since I’m getting a little older. Maybe even the extended versions in the future.

      This is exactly me. Been playing with Blade 98 models for years but I’m getting older (33 😅) and need some extra help, especially on the serve so that I don’t need to swing 100% max all the time

    • @Mewborne89
      @Mewborne89 2 роки тому +2

      @@tdc_2021 that’s hilarious, I’m 33 as well 😂 I am also in the same boat with the serve, I can hit 120’s but I hate having to do that physically consistently. Going 100 percent like you said around this age takes it’s tole. Looking for something like a Blade that will assist me and I can swing 80 percent ish and get the same results. Good luck with the hunt for something that can do that! I think this may be a solid option judging by the review.

      @@allthingstennis I've demoed the 2023 Vcore 98 and 100 for the past week and the 100 was the clear winner for me. The 100 had more free power (but controllable), great on serves, and created really nice pace on my forehand. The Vcore is somewhat muted, which I prefer, and very plush. The main issues I had with the 98 is that it had more flex than the 100, so I didn't feel as connected. Overall, a really great racket and one that I'm considering purchasing. I currently play with a 2018 Head Speed Pro.

    I am playing with VcorePro100 since 3 years, but maybe i need something a bite more powerfull. But i don’t Want loose thé feeling and the control of my slice in backhand and i love cross short angles with my forehand or offensive flat along the line.

      @Max-ti5nq 2 роки тому

      @@MMm-kp7lk lower RA surely makes it more easier on the arm, and more feel or not depending on the dampening technique, some would just dull it down and makes it less enjoyable in the sound dept. But with lower RA also usually means less control as the racket flexes more it gives a more of a spraying effect, makes it harder to go for the lines if that's your thing.

    Interesting review. I'll have to try the new line out. I always thought the current gen VCore 98 was overrated; for me, at least, it did not have easy access to spin (despite the marketing), it was powerful enough but also not very forgiving. The Gladiator tennis folks seemed to agree with that assessment if memory serves. I thought both the current VCore 100 (even though I don't normally like 100 sq in heads) and the VCore 95 to be far superior. Just my opinion. Interestingly, I've not had that reaction to the Ezone line.

    Yonex needs a VCore95 16 x 19 Option for those looking for more spin in a 95 incher. The 98 does not feel as sweet for OHBH and still nothing from Yonex suits a OHBH or generates spin better than an ancient Yonex RD-7 for 95 inches. Even Wilson 6.1 18 x 20 generates more revs than any vcore 95 model. Going thinner than 1.20mm has durability issues with the vcore 95. Head prestige 95 user atm yet still missing Yonex.

  • @CH-yp5by
    @CH-yp5by 2 роки тому +2

    The main issue with the Vcore 95 was it was so head light and on impact you get more vibrations and are more prone to getting tennis elbow, it would be interesting to know if the head light balance had been changed. Of course you could add lead tape to increase the weight but you reduce racquet head speed as result as it 310gs unstrung already. I had to got to last years Ezone and that was the solution.

      2018 all red one had a flex of 62 with no VDM which really mutes the frame and vibrations and in a sense some feel; the was the real complaint of the 2019 version it was more comfortable but more muted feel. I believe the swing weight was a little higher on the 2018 version. Supposedly they didn't change the specs in terms of static and SW on the new one. But the new one is even softer at a 61 RA but still has VDM but heard it has a very plush feeling to it with more feel then the out going model they widened the frame a little at 10 and 2 oclock to expand the upper hoop thus improving stability. More people tend to hit in the upper part of the frame anyway. Personally I didn't care for the feel (or lack thereof) in the outgoing model. The 18 version had a thinner beam throughout the outgoing model they added a MM to each part of the frame this just changes how the racket swings. With the new one they made the hoop thicker but the throat thinner then the outgoing model. But reducing the RA by 4 is a big change and I expect that to reflect in a much better feeling and playing racket. They have a huge winner on their hands if the initial reviews are any indication.
