Bills are common to get direct pay from bank accounts, but we have to pay the transfer fee along with the total due on some bills. When paying for bills that are not direct pay, we get the bill in the mail and pay at covenant stores. These transactions take only cash. Small Mom and Pops shops are cash only. Big chain stores and clubs have moved to pay apps, credit cards along with cash. While other places require a minimum Y10,000 ($100 US) purchase before using a credit card. Also, the pre paid train pass cards (like Trevor's PASMO) can be use at some restaurants, drug stores and most vending machines. CASH is still KING in Japan... for Now!

Best thing is that's just a small one in a relatively quiet neighborhood. There are baseball stores the size of a regular Dick's downtown. I don't know about Yokohama, but I walked into one inside a mall in Tokyo. It's well worth the experience.

We're so happy you've come to Japan, Trevor! I've been here in Japan for 37 years, have always been a Big Red Machine fan, and the Bay Stars (whose original name was Taiyo Whales) have always been my favorite Japanese team. Japan is a great place to live and thrive, the baseball culture is incredible and the games are magic (you gotta see it to believe it). See you soon!

This is the first time I heard about you Trevor and immediately made my research. I don't care what happened to you in MLB and I think you are better off without them, you are an innovator and I admire that you want to be the best version of yourself. I am not Japanese or American but a fan of the game. I love it when Japanese baseball fans know you and had their pic taken, Google translate is a big help for me the first time I was there. I had a blast watching your vids and I would love to see you show us Japan and your experience in the coming future.
Continue doing what you are doing and I hope you do better there in the Japan League and there is nothing wrong with starting over. Good luck in Japan and I am looking forward to hear good things from your new carreer.

So much respect Trevor. I lived in Japan for 6 years and followed Yoshi Tsutsugo as a Baystars fan while I lived there. So stoked that you've chosen to play there as well. I'm back in the states now (and still tracking Yoshi and hoping he gets called up to the Rangers soon) but now that you're playing in Yokohama, I'm going to be rekindling my passion for the Baystars as well. When they awesome Japanese crowd makes a chant for you, you should definitely post a video about it. Yoshi's was my favorite of all time.
