I’ve watched this channel for 2 years now. I believe it’s the best in dental care. I have always taken care of my teeth but as a senior on a tight budget ( and by myself) my dream has always been to have a beautiful white smile. Maybe after this pandemic I will be able to have this taken care of. I don’t want to be alone anymore

It’s so unfortunate everyone doesn’t have the same opportunity as her, I’m sure that transformation was life altering for her. As someone that avoids anywhere with bright lights and potential for close contact because I’m ashamed of my teeth, I can only imagine how that must have felt. Everyone should have a smile they’re proud of, it’s sad knowing how many people live tormented lives because of their teeth. I’ve been doing some research to try and get something done about mine but it’s kind of discouraging, if I ever am able to do it I will be forced to Mexico where the veneers are 3x less money per tooth, but then the probability for me getting unsatisfactory work done is so much higher. I guess it’s kind of worth the risk because anything is better than never smiling, its either go to Mexico and get 20 veneers or go to someone in the US and get 6 which they’d probably laugh me out of the building for even asking about 6. I think I’ve found someone that does okay work in Mexico and in the Philippines and they’re legit veneers, but it’s just so scary. If anyone else out there has a diminished quality of life because of their smile, you’re not alone and we are our own worst critic, maybe if we got 20k stimmys we could get some work done but then probably the prices of veneers would go up because of inflation.

You being 19 I’m going to tell you what I wish I could tell my 19 year old self. I complained about my teeth and my grandpa always said “who cares you’re missing teeth you can’t really tell and they’re white” well I didn’t listen got braces to separate my teeth because my dentist said I should get implants(not even knowing how much they cost) got braces missed appointments. I never showed my teeth so since I didn’t show my teeth I didn’t take care of them. Now I have a cavity on my canine tooth. Went to get old info from my old orthodontist and seen pics of when I was 19 smiling to show the orthodontist how my teeth sit and man they were soooo white just like my grandpa said, they didn’t even look bad at all😩 I wish I could myself to just love me forget what anyone’s has to say about you. now they look way worse 😢
This video made me cry. I was in an accident as a kid while In foster care. I lost one of my front teeth along with most of the root. Dcfs said that fixing it is considered cosmetic so they won’t pay. My surrounding teeth have partly moved into that empty space since. Ive had so many different opinions from orthodontists and dont know what to do

I wish I could afford this at the age of 17 I chipped my 1st tooth in half by getting hit I was luckyand I have to still have the right insurance to get a crown putonnit looking back I wish I would have known more about it now that tooth is a completely different color than the rest of my teeth and then when I got pregnant at 21 during my pregnancy and afterwards it just destroyed my teeth I don't know if I wasn't getting enough calcium but it did a big number on them then my second pregnancy even more so justa lot of destruction and I cannot afford to get veneers because of the cost of one veneer and my teeth are in bad shape it cuts down my confidence times 100 I'm only 33 one of my front teeth is completely gone the one next to the one that completely broke so I have anot a denture it's kind of like a flipper for that one tooth but it hurts all the time I can't eat with it so I mean going out and eating with people's out of the question because I have to take it out I'm only like that's awful and I've been dealing with this since about 23 years and when I talk I try to keep my mouth closed as much as possible I don't smile anymore and if by chance I'm having a good time and I laugh or I catch myself smiling instantly and I realize it my mood goes from 100 to 0 because the first thing that crosses my mind is oh s#!* I must look so awful, it's the worst I always feel like if I could get that fixed my confidence would rise back to where it was so many years ago, I'm literally not the same person I used to at all I used to be when I was younger I used to be super photogenic and love smiling n love myself my kids never even see me smile and when I do it's not even expressing how I am truly feeling because I want to smile ear-to-ear but it's always in the back of my mind no matter how hard I try to push it out. my self-confidence is chopped and I always look at this graph and I'm so jealous of how they get this stuff done and I try to find places near me that I can try to get it done and pay for it and if you're like ridiculously expensive

I need a implant tooth, just had it pulled from a failed root canal. im putting aside 165.00 a week so when i go back in 12 weeks i can pay for the implant... Then it has to heal and set for another 12 weeks i am told which gives me time to keep putting aside money each week so i can then pay for the abut and the crown.... Not cheap, not easy but i have a plan that hopefully gets me the implant.

Are you able to remove, ON BOTH arches, all-ceramic permanent crowns and rebuild a bite? They were placed 1yr ago. I've had TMJ pain for 20+yrs. My bite was rebuilt by adding vertical length to both arches from worn-down teeth due to grinding. However, the permanents are nothing like the temps in terms of bulk and bite. It's not livable. The dentist that i've been going to for many years did this and I really have no idea what to do now.
I am 67 and have lower teeth missing and my gum line is progressing causing several teeth to be extremely sensitive and even can see the roots. I have all of my life wanted a beautiful smile. Since i was born in missing my two lateral incisor. Canines are not far from the central incisors, they're actually next to each other. Should i put braces to keep them even close, make aligned and after shape or make space to replace the missing teeths? Plus I'm 16 years old.
I recently came out of braces, with one missing lateral incisor, but one of my rotated premolars went out of bone during deroration .. my orthodontist is willing to rotate it back some, but am worried it may compromise space for an implant. How much gap can exist for implant, right now the cantilever bridge is not an option as canines on missing side overlap heavily. But maybe after rotation it will be. I feel like I have no options right now
Dr O, Can you tell me how you are able to install implants and completely change a patient’s mouth in one day, when it has taken over 9 months for my dentist to place 3 implants which are still unstable so he encased the 2 implants in temporary dental composite material. The implants have movement. My question is simple, I would like to know the permanent dental cement used when operating on dental patients for the one day makeover. I don't know how but on my first Invisalign meeting the dentist told me I'm missing a bottom incisor. I never knew because my teeth shifted so there's no gap.. But i think this causes me to have slight facial asymmetry. I don't think Invisalign is going to fix this because my K9 tooth should be moved over like a half inch, but then that would create a gap where I'm missing the bottom incisor. Sucks.

What if you don't want to move apart the teeth for implants? I'm not willing to risk the surgery, the fact I might not have bone after they've been moved. I'd rather just have them moved together, and have the canines bonded or veneered to look like insicors.

I had always wanted to get braces to straighten my teeth, and i jumped on it, but before that i had a molar removed. Soon my braces will be coming off. I miss the same teeth and I got braces to fix it and it looked pretty good but I had to wear this kinda invisiline every single night for the rest of my life for the results to stay permanent. And I just couldn’t do it. I never got used to it it felt disgusting hurt sometimes and I couldn’t talk with them on. So I just stopped using them completely and now I got 2 pretty big gaps on the sides of my fronts teeth and it just makes me so self conscious.. I’ve never been able to smile in pictures and for it to look normal my whole life and I still can’t. And I just want it fixed so bad...

Can you tell me how you are able to install implants and completely change a patient’s mouth in one day, when it has taken over 9 months for my dentist to place 3 implants which are still unstable so he encased the 2 implants in temporary dental composite material. The implants have movement. My question is simple, I would like to know the permanent dental cement used when operating on dental patients for the one day makeover. I’m not asking for a recommendation on the cement but just point me in the direction so I better understand the materials and methods. Thank you very much, Alan
I don't know how but on my first Invisalign meeting the dentist told me I'm missing a bottom incisor. I never knew because my teeth shifted so there's no gap..
But i think this causes me to have slight facial asymmetry. I don't think Invisalign is going to fix this because my K9 tooth should be moved over like a half inch, but then that would create a gap where I'm missing the bottom incisor. Sucks.

How long was the entire process
The veneers and bridges were done on a few hours while the Invisalign to create the proper space took about 8 months.

What if you don't want to move apart the teeth for implants?
I'm not willing to risk the surgery, the fact I might not have bone after they've been moved.
I'd rather just have them moved together, and have the canines bonded or veneered to look like insicors.

I had always wanted to get braces to straighten my teeth, and i jumped on it, but before that i had a molar removed. Soon my braces will be coming off. What is the time given for my teeth to start shifting again if i put off on getting implant done and just rely on my retainers? And or what would be my options if any? I dont want any bone loss. I miss the same teeth and I got braces to fix it and it looked pretty good but I had to wear this kinda invisiline every single night for the rest of my life for the results to stay permanent. And I just couldn’t do it. I never got used to it it felt disgusting hurt sometimes and I couldn’t talk with them on. So I just stopped using them completely and now I got 2 pretty big gaps on the sides of my fronts teeth and it just makes me so self conscious.. I’ve never been able to smile in pictures and for it to look normal my whole life and I still can’t. And I just want it fixed so bad...
