Vanilla Ice Cream Recipe - I halved recipe in this video:
    anitacooks.com/recipe/perfect...
The recipes in the included recipe book are very detailed and thorough, they list tools needed for the recipe, substitutions and tips.
First, I’ll make vanilla ice cream. Whole milk, heavy cream, sugar, vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.
In the third container, I’ll make a pineapple sorbet. The recipe book says to use about 3 cups of chopped pineapple. You can use just one fruit or a combination, like oranges and pineapples. Whatever fruit you use, make sure to cut into ½ inch pieces or smaller. I just cut a fresh pineapple yesterday and it was very sweet so it’ll be good for this recipe. For the best results, use very ripe fruit. Luckily I have exactly 3 cups of pineapple. Whatever fruit you use, make sure to press it down really well.
After 24 hours, the mixture is frozen solid. I’ll process the vanilla ice cream base.
Take the lid off and put the pint it in the outer container. Put the cover on to the right of center and move to the center to close. Put the container on the unit with the handle in the center and slide to the right, it’ll go up and you’ll hear that click.
Before I turn it on, take off your headphones because it’ll be really loud and I haven’t turned down the volume. Here’s the progress bar.
I’m turning down the volume for the rest of the video.
I’ll put the recipe link below this video.
Follow this recipe and make one of the best ice creams you’ve ever had, it’s just pure creamy vanilla with 4 ingredients.
Here you can see clearly how the paddle is shaving off each layer.
The pineapple looks like a frozen yellow block.
By the way, if you forget to put the paddle on the lid, the install light will flash and the unit won’t run the program.
Just for comparison sake, a Vitamix will be about as loud as a Ninja blender but Ninjas in g
eneral sound harsh like a high pitch whine.
This is the vanilla ice cream I made yesterday with chocolate chips.
Now I’ll make a coconut mango smoothie bowl. Frozen mango chunks to the max fill line. Coconut milk. This is the cream on top, make sure to mix it into the liquid below. Pour the coconut milk to just below the max line. Stir it up a little. Choose Smoothie bowl. That took 2.5 minutes. Because I overfilled the container a little bit, there were a few drips while the cycle was running. So make sure to fill just below the max line when using liquids and mixing with fruit. It’s smooth but you can see some of the coconut fat has not mixed in well. I’ll taste it. You can still feel some tiny bits of mango, it’s not completely smooth. Process this again if you want it perfectly smooth. I’m going to eat it just like this. With some blueberries, coconut and nuts. This is perfect for those who are lactose intolerant like me. I have been eating the vanilla which I shouldn’t be but it’s just too good. You can cover this, put it in the freezer and have it later. That’s what I’m doing because well, I’ve been eating everything I’ve made so far. My freezer is getting pretty full.
Next is chocolate ice cream but with non dairy milk. This is the dairy free coconut vanilla ice cream recipe from the included recipe book. Instead of coconut milk, I’m using oat milk, creamy full fat, extra creamy. You could use soy milk and there are recipes in the booklet using creamers. This is soy creamer that I use for coffee and it should make good ice cream.
Pour the oat milk into a measuring cup. Sugar or substitute honey. Vanilla extract. Cocoa powder to make it chocolate ice cream. Heat this for a minute or so to melt the sugar and whisk it well. Pour it into the pint container. Cover and put it in the freezer for 24 hours. I’m gonna have to eat this smoothie bowl now because there is no room in my freezer. After 24 hours, here is the chocolate base. I’ll run the ice cream program. That took 2 minutes.
To clean, wash the pints, paddle, container and lids by hand or on the top rack of your dishwasher. You can remove the rubber seal under the lid. Don’t forget to put it back after drying all the parts.
Wipe the base down with a damp cloth as well as the spindle under the head. If you spill something, turn the platform counterclockwise to go up and wipe it down.

I'm a chef in a restaurant that needs to spin 10 or so pints of ice cream and sorbets before service everyday. Our pacojet broke down and we didn't have a back up. We bought one of these to sustain us in a pinch. This machine kicked ass for 2 weeks while our pacojet was repaired! Took some trouble shooting sometimes, but as long as my base was good this machine never let me down.

What's the best stabilizer for the creamiest consistency

    • @edmaxwell257
      @edmaxwell257 Рік тому

@@BlkMagickGaia3 I use 1% Cremodan 30 for ice cream. It's a proprietary mix of glyceride flakes (both mono- and di-), locust bean gum, and guar gum. Has yet to fail me on a recipe. Did have to adjust recipe depending on amount of NFS remainder after straining out flavorings (such as for huitlacoche or candy Cap ice creams)
Edit to add: a similar product is 'Perfect Ice Cream' from Kitchen Alchemy.
If you aren't getting a creamy enough consistency with properly used stabilizer, your recipe may be an unbalanced. Usually needing more fat content, or non-fat solids.

I’m really considering getting one of these! Costco has them for $179.99, but if you do the math, a pint of high quality ice cream costs about $5.99 at least where I live. So it would take roughly 30-40 pints of homemade ice cream, and the Ninja Creami would literally pay for itself!!! And best of all, you control what goes into the ice cream, because you make it yourself! I could also use my Vitamix to make the bases quite handily, and then transfer the mixtures into the Ninja cups for freezing! Thank you for sharing your review!

I figured the same thing you were saying. So instead of buying mini chocolate chips, I bought a Ghirardelli dark chocolate bar instead. Then you just shave the bar with a microplane or on the smallest holes of your grater. The results will be various sizes of shavings that have a better mouthfeel than hard chunks of chocolate and will be easier to chew. I hope this helps.

For your smoothie bowl you neglected to freeze it for 24 hours

So what does the ninja do exactly? Blend like a blender. I could get a hand crank and have ice cream right away or spend $200 to do all the work plus wait 24 hours for ice cream. When I could have bought a $20 blender that does MORE than the ninja! Think I'll pass

Basically buying a blender and recipe book. Actually a blender is better. How can it claim to be an ice cream maker when it does not make ice cream?

Yes, any one can do it. Which is why the commercial machine this is based on costs $4k.

Great review (as always) but your refusal to use the respin function is killing me. As a result, we don't actually see what it would really be like.

I'm not at all impressed with what I have seen here. For the money it costs you could buy TWO proper ice cream makers which is not only easier to use but a lot quicker! I have a Cuisinart machine and all you have to do is put the ingredients into the bowl, switch it on and in 40 minutes you have perfect ice cream, gelato or sorbet and it is silent. You do not have to place anything in the freezer, it does it all! This product is overprices and over complicated to use. From what I have read in various reviews, it is also of poor quality and subject to breakdown.

I have that Cuisinart and just upgraded to the Ninja, I hadn't used the Cuisinart in years and I use the Ninja every day because it's so much simpler and faster. I can keep several containers of ice cream bases in the freezer and in just 2 minutes, not 40 like the Cuisinart, have them converted to ice cream. The Cuisinart also always made ice cream that is too soft, this can make much firmer ice cream but also softer by respinning if you prefer. The Cuisinart isn't much quieter than the Ninja and you have to endure its noise for 40 minutes, not just 2!

In the end time God said people will be blinded to the truth.. hate the truth.. and reject the TRUTH! Jesus is truth.. the only way. Everything without Him is darkness and death. I pray conviction will fall upon your hearts and you would accept the truth of Jesus and seek Him for life to escape death. Repent of your wicked ways! Remember my friend. Jesus said they don't hate you.. they hated Him first and when we live for Christ they will hate us too.. God bless
