Omg!!! I was literally screaming at the screen. I’ve had a Cremi since the beginning. 1. You completely over-filled it. You could have made two pints. 2.) You spin it on ice-cream or lite ice-cream say twice do a third for kicks & giggles. That will give you you’re desired consistency. Then get a butter knife make a hole, believe me it will be easier at that point. Put the mix in. Process and viola. Adding that almond milk was unnecessary. That made it slushy. You want ice-cream. I use water, milk, nut milks with my protein. Mix a tbsp of sugar-free jello pudding to create UNLIMITED flavors. WORTH every penny. I personally don’t like to mix my ingredients in the pint. I use a blender so all the powders & liquids are mixed well.
Great tips! I’m figuring all these out in the fly !! Thank you!
Have you ever had the plastic shards in the mix? Saw someone talking about that…..user error? What causes that?
@@promises6414 It is important that the top of the cream mixture be flat. If your mixture looks like a small volcano - let it sit out 15 minutes and then chip it down so the blade will be level. That will prevent it from wobbling and getting shards. I usually freeze without the lid as I get less "volcanos" and then put on the lids after frozen.
That is right!!! The instructions say to freeze it leveled. I’ve never had plastic shards in the years I’ve had it.
Exactly, she doesn't know what she's doing at all.
Hello from Belgium! 🙂 Mine arrived last week, and I didn't have time yet to unbox it. I was searching for a really simple protein recipe and you gave me one! I LOVE your enthusiasm and I will be happy to see all the recipes yet to come ❤
I cannot wait to try mine, I got the basic one! Super excited to see what recipes you share!!
Just bought one yesterday! Can't wait to try different healthy ice cream recipes!
My best one so far is cheesecake: 2 servings cheesecake pudding mix (not sugar free), half milk/half vanilla protein shake, with either oreos or graham crackers as a mix in.
Well that sounds to die for ! I’ll try it !
Thank you!!!! setting it up right along with you.!!
I've found the key by accidently leaving a container out of the freezer set on the counter for about 10-15 minutes. One spin and mine was perfect!
I'm obsessed with my Ninja Creami. I make protein ice cream every day. Here's some tips for you! Spin it on lite ice cream anytime you're using a lower fat recipe. When you freeze something, it won't be as sweet, so I add sweetener (of your choice) if you need to sweeten it up. I use a lot of the coffee syrup's, Torani's makes a s'mores flavor that is AMAZING. Jell-o Sugar free pudding mix (just the dry powder) is great for sweetening and helping with the consistency. You can also use guar gum to get a more ice cream like texture. Some mix-in's basically just disappear and are better to use as toppings. Enjoy!
Great tips!!! Thank you!!
I just snagged one today at Target on clearance! I grabbed it as fast as I could, lol😂 can't wait to unbox and get it going!
I’m very tempted to buy one of these. I keep seeing it EVERYWHERE!
Hi Kristi. Do you have other healthy homemade ice cream videos, besides this one?? If so, how can I find them? Thanks!
Where did you order yours from? Mine came with 3 pints by default (same model)
Tell me you didn’t read the instruction manual without telling me you didn’t read the instruction manual
I just got mine today , and turned it on and smoke starting coming out . I’m so sad . I ordered it off Amazon , but I’m all the way in South Africa , so I don’t know if it is the machine or my plug adapter that is messed up
I bought a ninja creami 2 weeks ago. It's still in the box by the door!! Lol!! I have a small freezer so I need to clean it out to be able to put the pints in it!! But I will be trying your recipe as well as many others I've seen on line!!
I think they recommend using the light ice cream button if your not using fat as in whole milk and heavy cream. Yours looks like it came out good though! 🤷♀️
Awesome video!
All the reviews I watched said if the consistency isn’t how u want it, you hit the respin button. You can respin a second time if needed. There is a + - mix in button. It said to make a hole with a spoon, add the mix in u want. Put the container back in the machine and hit the + mix in.
This was fun! It’s funny too when you said “unhealthy” when adding chocolate chips lol, I’d say my desserts are a bit more extreme on my cheat meals, there’s one ice cream company that puts honey comb in theirs, and it’s the bomb! Highly recommend if you’d be looking for ideas of mix ins
I have also been seeing videos on this machine and have been thinking about getting one too. After watching this I want one now.
I’ve used it every night lol
OK! Now you're going to make me want to buy one!!!!
Awesome video guys and cant wait to see some of the other versions that you make. Two things real quick...1 if you over fill the container with Level 1 protein, just drink it rather than pouring it out. 2 when you dig out the center to add more almond milk, don't put it in the sink, Eat It!! 😂😂 Love you guys!!!!
Haha I was thinking exactly what you typed 😅
@daciarhodes5422 Haha!! I was yelling at my screen...don't throw that precious ice cream in the sink!!
🤣🤣🤣 no idea why that never crossed my mind lol
I was like nooooo not down the drain 🤣🤣... I've had to do that on occasion and it just about killed me. I've also been known to spill powder onto the counter and still try to salvage it LOL
I've been wanting the creami for months!!!!
If you have one, you are BLESSED because this thing sells out QUICKLY! I have the original and then wanted to get the Breeze. The Breeze sold out in a DAY! everywhere!....Believe me it is worth it if you have a sensitive stomach or are watching the ingredients that go into what you eat these days. I have am getting older and my stomach has been getting bloated, gasy and painful due to some of these unknown ingredients in foods these days. So knowing exactly what is going into my ice cream is a life saver for me. I make my ice cream out of homemade nut milk and I make cold delicious sorbets just out of fruit. By the way, it is now $100 more than what I paid for it at Costco!
I thought this might be a negative review, but it was very positive. I've been looking for a negative review, but cannot find one. I thought the red X, might be you did not like it.
It's called click bait and it's super lame..
Omg!!! I have to get one!
First of all, I wanted to scream out to you, LOL, that there is probably another pint In the box, or at least my cheapest one from Walmart at $169 had the one pint in the bowl, and the other kit and another pint and lid in a box next to the creami,. Also, you should use lite ice cream setting. The reason is that you had low fat items, and that's why you need to use the lite ice cream for an almond milk base. I use 2% milk , sometimes 1/2 container of low fat yogurt, and always a tablespoon of a no sugar, but flavored instant pudding to thicken , and sometimes 1/2 a banana , sometimes peanut butter powder with Fairlife chocolate milk. As you have a gelato setting and I don't, maybe yours did only come with one pint. Otherwise mine is exactly the same as yours. Anyway, I love my Creami. I use it every single day and sometimes twice. I have practiced and finally have a really thick constancy. I have sometimes a softer one, but it's generally thick, and I prefer it that way. Also, you should take the creami out of the freezer for at least ten minutes before processing it, and when you are using white milk and fruit, you often get a lump, and as I understand it, you need to get it level to protect your blade. I just take a metal spoon and beat the hump down before processing,
The difference between this one and the deluxe I got that one you get more modes and it’s 24 oz vs 16oz so the deluxe is worth it waiting a few months for these to come in stock for the deluxe now have I used it yet no I am going to soon because on a prep I need ice cream without the nasty shit in it.
I microwave my frozen ice cream container for 5 to 7 seconds before spinning so I never have to respin, comes out perfect every time. My favorite flavors are cocoanut , ginger ice cream and Mocha.
Minutes ? 😂 I think you mean seconds
@@____Ann____ Oops, I meant seconds. I'm 75, will be 76 next week, that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.😁
I love how salty Kristi is that it only came with 1-pint tub 🤣I totally see why, I'd be annoyed if I had to share ice cream with my partner too
Yay…pretty sure I could eat protein ice cream every single day. Keep the recipes coming🤤
So far I have since we got it 🤣🤣🤣
Thanks
I had one when it came out, but unfortunately it shaved plastic into my ice cream on all my 5 containers. I so wanted to love it, but wasn't worth it. I now have a compressor based ice cream maker. No pre-freezing, less noise, and no more plastic in my protein ice cream.
Was your frozen base flat on the surface or did you leave the lump on the top before you spun them? Usually this problem is due to user error..
"Well, you're shit out of luck." LMFAO. I think this is the first video I heard you swear lol. Only 1 pint?? What were they thinking??
You ordered one so we don't have to? OK, I'm coming over. I prefer something with chocolate.
And this OG is going bye bye....she should have waited for The Breeze!!!!😂
Super cute video 👍 but people don’t follow this method when you use yours. I know she was unboxing but your blade can break or even spark and start a small “fire” and melt the drill bit if you’re not careful with how high you fill it. Also the “mound” on top can be dangerous for the blade so some recommend leaving it out to thaw and smooth it out.
Overall still cute video
She mentions linking the protein and the frother somewhere. Am
I just not seeing it? Ty! :)
Linked !!! Sorry we forgot to add!
I have found that if I leave the lid OFF of the pint for the first 4 or 5 hours or so, that hump doesn't form in the middle. If I got the mixture started early enough, I will place the lid on the pint before I go to bed. (just to be a bit hornery - I find it funny that you say you read all the instructions but then you failed to follow'em [and wasted so much edibles too, ugh]). ;-) Thanks for the vid.
I need your arms workout! Your shoulder look amazing!
I follow IBEX Training Performance aesthetics days :) , los of good arm workouts there!
Where do you find raw milk in Columbus?
Buy a cow and milk it lol, milk has to be pasteurised to be sold to the public, maybe your local dairy will sell you some but I don’t like your chances, that’s why cheese taste like crap these days, by pasteurising milk all the goodness is killed……
I'm with Pat...instructions are really just "suggestions" from the manufacturer .
🤣🤣🤣
So lame when people use misleading thumbnails to get people to watch their videos...
Thanks for commenting!
Great video. I too have an insatiable sweet tooth, but i must ask. What’s the dark spot on the ground in front of your sink? I can’t unsee it lol
Oh pat sanded our floors right there !! It’s “natural wood” so we are in the process of refinishing them!
I figured it was a project but in the background i couldn’t take my eyes off it lol
Maybe blur out that shipping label at the beginning of the clip?
I’ve seen people do 1/2 cup cottage cheese to creami it up too!
Wash the container before using it for the first time out of the box!
i cant imagine a life spent counting the calories of everything i eat. life is to be enjoyed.
Does ice-cream give you muscles ?
🎉
I like my creamy pretty well, but almond milk is meh. Cashew or coconut is soo much better.
I'm American of India origin and love your channel. Don't get sick, I feel you took the spoon and made and hole and went to sink and banged that spoon on bottom of sink and used spoon again? Yes/no?
love ya stay safe
So? And what if she did? .....and telling a stranger that you love them is super weird lol
Has anyone ever had metal shaving on the lid? Kind of scared it’s very concerning to me..
I dont know but for me is came with three pints!
They offer a cheaper option that only comes with one..
Leave the lid off the tub when freezing to ensure it doesn't blow out in the middle.
Should have done your research
lol for sure! We did order 5 more cups 😎
This video was somewhat confusing at the start. I'm like she looks like she trains hard and she is making ice-cream. When she mentions protein ice and protein coffee I'm like go on girl 👊
I'm just what the heck, I'm wFPB SoS....she is banzai. .😮😮😮
Needs to follow a pro. .😂
Hello. Why you have an x on the thumbnail?
Lool this is such a bad “tutorial”, for someone who said she reads all the instructions first, she’s actually just improvising it all lool it’s a wonder nothing got broken.
No to almond milk
Talk about someone that’s just BS the whole thing. Dumps out the liquid when she could have drank it and dumps out the extra ice cream…..bet she got it all for free
That’s a waste of a machine, if it don’t mix and freeze at the same time it’s not an ice cream maker…wack!
You're a pretty man ❤
Very poor presentation.
You CLEARLY did not read through the instructions like you claim.. You pretty much did everything wrong..You're lucky you didn't break it after spinning without scraping down that lump too lol..
Thanks for watching!
Another click bait, so tired of it. I thought she was going to have something negative to say about the machine. Why put a big red X and a poopy face when you like something, STOP being fake and try two big thumbs up with a smiley face. Big thumbs down!
Stop licking your fingers while doing food prep. So unhygienic.
