      I am in Dallas. Hey the T6 and I are both Texans hmmm. That would be a loooong XC for me but it might be fun. If ever I find myself within reasonable flying distance, I will give you a shout. Thanks for stopping by. I am always honored when I see you in my weird little place on youtube.

      @@48Boxer - Are we splitting hairs about the semantics between the meaning of the word "satire" VS "spoof"...?
      I had also nearly used the word "parody" to describe what he does... But yes, his stuff is generally more satirical than anything else - so my bad?
      But I mean - here's something I googled regarding how far off I may have been using the word "spoof":
      "Parody takes a specific literary work and exaggerates its form and language, often replacing serious subjects with silly ones. Spoof is where a writer takes the conventions of a well-known genre and pokes fun at them. Finally, satire uses ridicule, exaggeration and irony to comment on society, religion and politics."
      Regardless, he seems to be interested.

    Thanks for showing us how to safety wire. I used new wire, and when twisting it, I found out that you get really dizzy spinning around like that. Besides. I never could figure out what to do with the other 6 feet of it, so I aimed it down towards the ground. It gets shorter because of the abrasive runway.

  • @Petunia31

    Most of the time it’s not metal, it’s actually stripper glitter from unknowingly flying too low over the exhaust towers of those clubs, that’s really why you want to check with a magnet.
    As a crackerjack box A&P, Sometimes I wish some of the stuff I find, in rank with hot glued safety wire, was also satire.

    • @Jeffrey-Flys
      @Jeffrey-Flys 5 років тому +4

      Rain Dog I think that if you go the extra mile and after hit gluing the wires together you also glue them to the filter.... yeah, redundancy is important in aviation. Also, be careful using hot glue on the ailerons... because the temperature difference causes turbulence.
