That's my baby being stripped clean...(previous owner of 20 years)...sad to see many years of bodywork being removed but it sat outside for too many winters rusting away......NOONE is stoked as much as me to see her getting a redo!
that widebody kit was made by Grounddesigns2000 and was called the Black Widow kit, I remember how crazy it was back in the early 2000, I had a poster of that famous silver Crx with the red interior on my bedroom wall, I think it was from HCI magazine, nice memories
Yep, it'll be getting mounted in the coming weeks. Gotta make room in the shop to strip the interior out and start putting the car together. So the kit will go on. Then the interior all fixed Then back to the exterior fixing the kit and getting ready for paint
@@GearsAndTech I'm in Toronto Ontario. When travel restrictions are lifted and things are safe maybe one day I'll visit if I'm there. It would be cool!
Yup...was way worse underneath than even I thought it would be...needs stripping for sure and I'm sorry you gotta go through that! ....I am DAMN jealous of the body kit going on though!! Was always what I wanted on it but unatainable....definatly will take it to a new level of awesome! Let me know when its back on the market for sale... :)
It'll probbaly be on the market at the end of summer My plan is to finish it by spring. Take it to a couple car meets. Then do a road trip with it and put it for sale to make room for a new project.

Thanks for stopping by. I know it's a lot of work that was put into it. Unfortunately we can't build on what's there without stripping it back down.
Canada here...89 crx si...lets go! Keep turning that wrench... one love

Visitors are always welcome!
I've been trying to find the body kit you're taking off for mine, lol. Don't think anyone makes it anymore.
Pay for shipping and you can have this one. It'll need some glass work to fix it. But the shape is all there
Yooo I'm ready to see this thing together
I wish time moved faster. Unfortunately this is going to be a bit of a project over the winter
Shooting to have it ready for the streets this spring

My son is trying to convince me to keep it for him. But that's 3 more years before he could drive it
