    Costco is selling the PC with these features for $849,99 I'm wondering if it will have enough performance to run the racing software iRacing?
    Features:
    Intel Core i5-14400F Processor
    NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 4060, 8GB
    2TB PCIe Gen4 NVMe Solid State Drive
    USB Gaming Keyboard & 7 Colors Gaming Mouse

    I wish somebody would factor in the some of us can’t build the pc as the cost to have a person build it costs about 300 bucks. So build the same pc for 700 not 1000.

    Hey man, been looking into this PC as my current rig is pretty old by todays standards. I bought it pre-built last year for ~$750, while the price was falling, and had I just waited 3 months I could have saved a ton of money. Would you say that this PC is going to last a while with some minor changes, maybe some extra ram or a different cpu fan, or would it be better to look at a higher price point if I am looking for that sort of thing? I'm trying to avoid getting burned like last time... Additionally, I've seen a lot of people say that the Radeon 7600 just doesnt stack up to the 4060, should I avoid the 7600 model?

    hey quick question, is whining/Buzzing noise coming from the PSU normal even when PC is off but the cord is connected to the wall outlet and switch is on?

    • @TechGuided

      Never heard of that personally, but did find this reddit thread:
      www.reddit.com/r/bapcsalesaustralia/comments/jf1xhs/psu_electrical_noise_when_computer_is_turned_off/
      Top comment on that thread solved a similar issue to what you're having by enabling the ERP setting in BIOS.

    I've heard the power supply on this machine clunks out relatively fast. Is that true?

    • @TechGuided
      @TechGuided  4 місяці тому

      Tough for me to say as I haven't used this machine since the initial review and benchmarking. So, I wouldn't have put it through enough use to tell whether or not the PSU would cause problems.
      Just to clarify, have you heard that about this specific variation of the Gamer Master that's using the High Power HP1 850W PSU?
      There are many different configurations available for the Gamer Master, so it could be that the negative reviews you're reading are coming from a lower-end variation that uses a different power supply.

      If you're asking where you would install an additional NVME SSD, there's a second M.2 port located directly below the top PCIe lane (where the graphics card is installed) and you'd install it there.
      You could also go with a SATA SSD and connect it on one of the many open SATA ports, but it will be a little bit slowe than an NVME drive.

    I just bought this for my wife. Can you give me some upgrade link suggestions for a bit more performance?
    I heard it's loud. I'd like to add liquid cooling.

    • @TechGuided
      @TechGuided  2 місяці тому +1

      Yeah, the CPU fan that this system comes with can get loud. I probably wouldn't put an AIO in it, though, as there is really only space available for a 120mm AIO.
      You could put in a 360mm AIO on the front panel, but since it's a glass panel it your airflow will be restricted.
      That being said, you could drastically reduce sound levels and improve your CPU temps by just opting for a beefier CPU cooler. That also won't cost you nearly as much money as getting an AIO.
      I've used this Thermalright cooler (amzn.to/4690CKg) in a build I put together and had a good experience using it.
      Or you could go ever bigger with something like the Thermalright Peerless Assassin (amzn.to/4cXSVsK) for a little more.
      You could also bump up the RAM to a 32GB kit, and add more storage. There is another M.2 port available, so you could add another NVME SSD.

    I’m new to pcs and got this as mine I was wondering if it is upgradeable

    • @TechGuided
      @TechGuided  Місяць тому

      Yeah, you can upgrade it. Which specific component(s) were you looking to upgrade? It comes with a 500GB SSD, so it could benefit from having more storage. Jumping up to 32GB of RAM would also be a quick and fairly affordable upgrade.
      And, its 850-watt power supply can handle an upgrade to a higher-end graphics card.
      A CPU upgrade may not be a great idea, though, as the A620 chipset motherboard doesn't have a good enough VRM in it to handle an upgrde to a higher-end option like a Ryzen 9 CPU and it may struggle with even a Ryzen 7 processor.

      If you have this same exact model Gamer Master, it comes with an ASUS motherboard. You can download (if it isn't already on the system) ASUS AURA Sync:
      www.asus.com/campaign/aura/us/download.php
      And that will allow you to customize the RGB lights on the fans.

      Spec-wise, I believe the Series X has a weaker CPU and slightly better GPU to what this CyberPowerPC prebuilt offers. But, it's hard to truly compare the two due to differences in how games are optimized for the two platforms.
