    Hi Justin, I'd like to see a chart showing which components of name-brand PCs are proprietary to that particular PC. This would alert potential buyers to which components they must only purchase from the PC manufacturer instead of off-the-shelf replacement parts. These might include the MB, PSU, GPU, and Memory. Knowing this could influence a buyer when deciding which brand of PC to purchase. As you pointed out, this could affect upgradability and cost.

    I got a HP Omen 40L with i7 14700F, 32G, RTX 4080 and 1+2T SSD for just below AUD 3000 last month from EBay HP shop. It’s really a great machine to play all these 4K games.

    Hey Justin , I’m considering two gaming PCs, the NZXT Player Three Prime and the Corsair I7500 with specs like Intel Core i9-14900K and NVIDIA RTX 4090. Which one do you think would ensure my games run flawlessly and look visually stunning? I want the best gaming experience possible.

    • @TjayK2
      @TjayK2 25 днів тому

      ?? You’re just talking about swapping cases at that point though. If the hardware is the same the only thing that matters is cooling and PSU. If you would want to upgrade with more fans or storage maybe you get the bigger case of the two otherwise is neglectible.

    Expected a bit more spec wise and grunt from HP gaming PCs when they have acquired Kingston. At least Kingston FURY Beast DDR5 6000MT/s 32BG kit, KC3000 2TB Nvme, for the price.

      Depends on the specs bud, the specifications of a PC is what matters at the end of the day.
      Also HP/Dell is known for having sales almost all the time so don’t feel pressured to buy because you see a “for sale”
      You want to have a decent CPU/GPU and then you can kinda toss the rest of your money around. For a first time pc I wouldn’t recommend getting more than 16G of ram don’t overkill it there. If you ever want more you can simply buy 2 more sticks of what you already have and install it.
      If you do end up spending a lot of money and going high end MAKE SURE you have the proper amount of cooling for your rig.
      He gives you some solid options at the end of the video as well but it’s a slightly older video there’s probably different options now. Ignore the victus imo though.

    My guy can you please stop telling people that they can "remove their dust covers for more air flow"? Not only is that not necessary whatsoever because the mesh does not restrict anywhere close to a significant amount of airflow, but leaving that filter off can cause dust to get into quite literally every component of your PC and it's a NIGHTMARE to clean out. The only reason you should be taking that cover off is to clean it and let it dry before putting it right back on, while the computer is off. I love your reviews; but I've heard you say this a few other times and it is quite awful advice, but that's the only criticism I really have, though :)

    I purchased a brand new HP Omen 45L from the HP website and they sent me a USED COMPUTER. They then proceeded to delay and refuse an exchange over and over again. They lied to me repeatedly and the customer service experience with them was terrible. If Justin is interested, I have many photos of the filthy inside of this supposed brand new computer HP sent me. Of course, he is more likely to just delete this critique to keep the free products rolling in but if he is interested, I would love for his help. HP was rude, lied to me over and over again, and made the process as painful as possible.

      @Ben_Dover-69- oh yes absolutely. Way more upgradability with the i8100 over the R16. The i8100 also has a 2 year warranty, more reliable high quality parts, better cooling, and in my opinion it looks a lot cooler too
