In order to begin our RV journey, we had to figure out how to get Cole into an inaccessible RV. Getting a quadriplegic into an RV isn't easy but we think we did a pretty good job!

I just wanted to say thank you so much to you both for making this channel and sharing your story!
I’ve struggled for as long as I can remember with body image issues and have never felt worthy of love because of how I looked. I’ve placed so much worth into how I look, that I feel like if I don’t lose x amount of pounds or if I’m not perfect, I’m not worthy of love. However, after seeing how much you both love each other, it has helped me to realize that there is someone out there (somewhere 😂) who is willing to love me for ME, and appreciate all that I have to offer. I’ve finally started to love myself, thanks to you two! (Also I never write comments, but I just had to say thank you because you both have impacted my life so much 💕)

I've always have RESPECT for EVERYONE. As a matter of fact, I'm teaching my two boys that. With that being said, your videos are such educational tool for me.
My first experience with a disabled person was in my early 20s. I was heading to work after class. It was very snowy out. In NYC, when it snowed, the corner of the streets have a lot of mushy snowy puddle. This blind lady eas having difficulties crossing. It took me a while to help her. I just didn't know how she would perceive my offer. After countless of pedestrians passed her by, I offered to help and she accepted. After reaching the other side of the street she said something like (paraphrasing her) next time you're helping a blind person you supposed to hold them like this, (she show me), not like this,(dhe show me). I was taken it back. I think I said something like, " I was trying to help". Her exact response was, " I appreciate your help". Then she went on to explain to me why the way I helped he was wrong.
Pretty much, I was directing her. Instead, she should be the one directing me. All I needed to do was be there as a support mechanism and be the EYE for her.
If she didn't explain the reason for telling me this, knowing myself, it would have bottled up my mind for weeks because I would have been thinking why she told me this in when I was trying to help.
It was an important lesson that day. I think I've helped maybe two other blind person since that first encounter. In one of these occasion, I got complemented for knowing what I was doing.
I guess the reason I'm bringing this up is because I feel like you are teaching countless of people who in their hearts want to do well for disable but they don't know how.
So keep up whatever the two of you are doing. Don't let a "few" stop or discourage your ray of lights.

I'm actually glad to get this notification at this very time.....so my father passed away last morning, I'm numb,in denial and have to go home next week with the only grandson I wish he met......life is so unkind, but I'm only sharing on this page because Cole is my get the fuck up face life person.... I know you've faced hard times Cole and loosing my dad last morning is beyond any pain I've ever felt in my life ...... but when I get to Swaziland next week...I'll keep rolling with you two.

Cole do you have anyone do any range of motion exercises of your joints (fingers, hands, wrists, ankles)? If not you should to help prevent muscle contrature. Remember, even though you can't move them having small ROM exercises daily will help big time in the long run. I hope that helps. 😊✌
