Gold Mining, New Gold Vein Discovered!
Вставка
- Опубліковано 15 тра 2021
- We have uncovered a new gold vein on our property! This video shows us drilling and blasting the first round to uncover what the new gold vein looks like and then taking a sample of the quartz to crush and mill through our gold mining plant to recover the gold and silver. This was an exciting time and we are starting a new gold mine. The sample turned out to have some pretty good gold and we show the process for melting and refining the gold so we can weigh it and get a good idea of how many ounces of gold per ton of ore we can expect in the future.

I've been watching gold videos for years and this is the first time I've seen someone walk up to a mountain, identify and discuss a potential seam of gold bearing ore, drill, (blast), muck, crush the ore, separate, pan, melt and produce a chunk of gold.. .from start to finish! It was great to see the entire process. Thanks! Can't wait to see more.
Yeah, this is so awesome!
@SubvertedWorld Ditto!
Ya , just like you said . Good job guys. Nice equipment
Perfect lmformitve. video.
I agree! Facinating! A whole lot of work!
Keep it up. Between you and Sreetips I get so much satisfaction watching.👍
Me too bro!! Two of my favorite content creators!!
To get the gold wrapped in the shop towel drier without tearing it surround it with the dry part of the shop towel moving it to another dry area regularly and gently squeezing. The dry towel sucks nearly all the moisture out of the little dollop of gold. I find it ironic that after all the blasting, and crushers, conveyors, separators, and other mechanical equipment it still comes down to the same technology uses for hundreds of years - a pan. This was really cool except for the part so many want to see - blasting solid rock to tiny bits. It was still a cool video.
Can we see the boom next time, please?
When the hammer bounces like that it will Brad a steal, stick the Chuck and steal together and lose the water needle... I loved underground mining!! Thanks for sharing brother much love and respect from Colorado!!💪👊🍻
no.... get some water
@@aaronkeeth651 , what are you doing these days Aaron?
Hey Jason! Good to see you getting back on some ground! Love your videos and information! Smelted my first gold button ever with your guidance! 31.5 grams brother!
that's amazing, congrats!
That's awesome! Congrats!
would have liked to see you explaining the hole pattern you picked , delays used, charging the holes and then firing the round...... clean looking hanging wall ... nice looking button ....love it when they come out like that
Thanks Jeff! Next time more info. Can't give it away all at once! :)
@@mbmmllc good point .... really love what your doing with this new portal and potential adit
@@Askjeffwilliams You know what Jeff, it's too bad UA-cam doesn't have the ability to create channels so we can watch stuff by category. You, Jason, Dan Hurd, Pioneer Pauly, VoGus, etc.
@@mbmmllc Hey Jason, was gonna say the same thing as Jeff. Would have loved to see that old Drill doing it's job, blowing the holes and seeing some mucking. I think it would bring a whole lot more viewers for sure. I watch other mine explorers, fun stuff to watch when you can't get in and do it yourself ;) Nice gold bead for sure!
@@butziporsche8646 I am a Patrion supporter of @Ask Jeff Williams and he does have some of this available to us on the Patrion end of things as well. plus multiple chance giveaway at gold nuggets he finds, if you guess the closest weight you get the nugget each month. @ a $10 a month pledge no one else comes close. So come on lets go!!!! Plus if you got a question you would like to ask Jeff you message him and get a decent honest reply. I never figured I would ever donate to Patrion for anyone but I like what Jeff stands for and contributes to the mining community.
Thank you for making a very informative video on mining and processing gold, yours is the very best i have ever seen.
One of the few end-to-end videos of this process. Thanks.
Can’t believe you didn’t show the explosion. Fantastic work, no one else has documented this type of mining work that I could see on UA-cam
Dude you got it down. Great camera work, and narrating 👍👍
I like that you showed the process through the crushing machines 🙂
Excellent content! You and Jeff Williams are showing us what it takes to build gold mines from scratch. A lot of us prospectors are interested in hard rock mining, not panning or sluicing. Thank you for taking the time.
I watch both of them as well great channels. But I also realize it doesn't seem with it for the amount of work unless you get lucky
Adding bismuth to oxidize it? That's certainly interesting, makes sense for free-milling ores. Our ore has enough sulfides to supply its own lead for cupellation, though a respirator is advisable!
Gotta say that's pretty badass to be checking your own ore instead of someone else's for a change. Next time we wanna see the blasting footage! Let us know and I'm sure we'll chip in for a disposable go-pro, I know I will!
I second that notion Mr. PP!
That's how to get it done fam. Gold squad out!!!
Did a lot of drilling and blasting for my dad in construction during the 80s .
I can't believe you guy didn't show us how you load the holes, and I really can't believe you didn't film the blast!
I'm sure youtube would have objected to that.
@@stanburton6224 Naw... several miners on UA-cam film their blasting...
There was probably no where within safe distance to prevent damage to the camera.
Wow - those machines are clearly dialed in
Excellent
I see you going to old mines climbing up hills good for reminding me I'm not going to do anything like that . Today not for older kids like me.Good stuff it's educational knowing what to do see it cool thanks 👍
Great video, thanks for the introduction to using bismuth.
The best explanation of the process on the net. Thank you!
That's awesome job I'm impressed. Excellent Job.
back breaking stuff with that air drill
I love what you are doing! Great job, keep pumping out the vids!
That's a little over 14 grams per ton. Very high grade 👌
Great upload. Can’t wait to see the mine development. Thankyou
Small scale mining without using any nasty chemical's. Way to go 👍
Nice,, fans from Indonesia
Fascinating! Nice job with the play by play! 👍
Another great informative video by Jason. MBMM has excellent customer service and will take great care of you! Customer focused and their experience is world class.
Excellent video showing the promise of some hard rock mining. Thanks for sharing. Subbed!
Sweet! Nice to see ya back. Love that shiny
Would love to see more details on processing the concentrates, can’t wait to see what you find further in…
Lets watch some mining, to much other stuff the mining and finding gold is much more fun to watch.
Please make more of these videos! There so hard to find good videos of small scale hard rock!
The location is great bro, greetings to Indonesian miners
The romans discovered that they could drill-chisel deep holes into large boulders and rock faces, leave them to fill with water and freeze over winter. By spring the water freeze and expansion would cause cracks n fractures along entire rock faces theyd bored into. I dont know if thatd be any good to do across exposed veins on your claim if youre drilling to blast anyway at some point? But blowing things up is too much fun to spoil lol. Is that a epithermal quartz deposit along a fault with a secondary deposit i assume taken place after maybe an earthquake has shifted the original fault? I wonder if the golds displacing copper in the sulfides as the mineral rich fluids pass through the quartz deposition.
Thats a nice button btw good result!
Cool video from the earth to the gold buttons birth.
🇺🇲🙏❤♻️🌎☮💯
Wish we could have saw the 💥.. 🍻👍
Here's hoping that the vein gets even richer as you get into the hill!!!!
We are missing you jason
I put a gas powered pressure washer about halfway between my pump and the drill it really helps with the water pressure. You just need the right fittings and your good as gold. 😂
Interesting , hope you find many more places to get gold, thanks for video and best of luck 👍
Hey really like all yer gold rigs!!! Thanks for sharing this
Dam freaking awesome
Thank you, love your videos and hard work.
Great video. Love seeing this whole process from start to finish 👍👍
Great job! A wealth of info .enjoyed
Wow! Keep us up to date on your progress. Great video.
Great to see back at it, was wonder if all was good, great videos keep them coming.
I always learn something new watching your approach to processing and refining.
In reading through the other comments I noticed others wanting to see the bang go off, I missed seeing it too.
Watching the bang go off is a risk to camera equipment and to the memory card. Shock waves will or may damage your gear, something most UA-cam vids don't talk about
@@bonks4395 I work in mining and every single blast here is filmed doesn’t hurt the camera at all
Nice work, thanks for thoses videos, love your tools, you are awesome !
Cool video
Nice set up! You mudt have quite a large investment in processing tools!
Love the small size of your operation and man the hard work involved, keep it up brother!!
Where's the blast? I need some explosives going off! Great vid!
You can't show explosions or explosives on UA-cam or you get demonitized. Same for guns and shooting, violence. And a host of other things. This platform runs on advertisements, and advertisers don't want thier companies or brands associated with or endorsing anything like that
UA-cam/ Google & their censorship SUCK!

Thanks Jason great video glad to see you again
Love your show and appreciate you mentioning that dangers like silica dust.
Jason, Your channel is one of the "only" YT mineral prospecting subscriptions that present the industry knowledge/information in a logical/methodical understandable format that is thorough.
As a fellow WC, Maple Falls neighbor, I’m hoping our mining paths cross/meet in the Future. Wishing you and your team much Success!
When water is short… have respirators ready. I wouldn’t risk any exposure.
That's an amazing setup. Cracking video 👍🏻⚒🏴
Man I've watched for 25 mins I think I learned more than 100 hours of random hard rock video watching
Mining just straight out intrigues me... it looks like such a horrible job... and the tunnels through rock they create is just amazing!
Very interesting and educational. Excellent video.
these videos from start to finish are so good to watch :) full of useful information :) and great to see the button of gold at the end :) nice job Jason :)
I truly appreciate these mining videos
Just checked the bat cave and it seems I would need probably one of everything.
Kool operation 😎
Greetings.... Gilgold Prospecting San Antonio Tx......where every day is a Gold'n Day..... coming to UA-cam Soon... watch the most AMAZING Videos on location. Wow!!!!
Absolutely bloody brilliant!.This is the second video of yours I have watched and you now have a new student and avid subsscriber.Well done all round.
Enjoyed watching your video
great video, thanks for sharing.
That is the sweetest setup ever! Subscribed!
Always look forward to these video's👍
Good info on preheating cupel
Nice
First video I've seen of yours content really well put together thank you for the breakdown
That was the most informative and interesting video I have seen on the beginnings of a mine. I’ve never before seen anyone so and explain this before. Awesome job bringing us from the exploration to discovery blasting and explaining we’re and how to start the portal and going all the way through to the refining. Thank you so much
Nice job!
Great stuff Jason , that's from go too woe in one video , lol , awesome , can't wait till the next installment , cheers .
You definitely peeked my interest and earned a sub thank you for being so informative
use arc furnace by using welding machine it will melt the sample in a few second
Seems you would have drill above the portal and drill down to a solid face just to see if it’s workable minerals. Plus it opens a bit more for staging at the portal, then clear away all that over burden. Then you can work directions on the face. Just me put nose in it!! You no what your doing!!!👍👍👍
Sorry for writing you, just out of curiosity your page come up on my suggested friend lists so I was just wondering if I knew you from somewhere??
Fascinating.
Thats a lot of hard work!
Nice work Jason
Thanks

Huh! Hadn't seen someone use Bismuth to clean gold in a cupel before. A small furnace like that, this could actually be a decent option for small at home hobbyists as Bismuth is probably a little easier to work with than a lot of the other chemical processes.
Great video. Wanted see how you incorporated the bismuth instead of lead.
Look forward to next visit and next assay results. Tnx for sharing.
Now this is interesting U-tube channel, I am former U/G hard rock stope mining electrician in Australia who can relate to what you are talking about, will be watching with enthusiasm how you progress, am now subscriber
I worked in a silver, lead, zinc mine, our stopes were massive approximately 100 meters in height,we had seams of quartz everywhere that carried fool's gold, sometimes copper and alluvial gold, gold was too minute to see and was only identified after milling process, seams of quartz ran through the silver lead zinc ore body, apparently it is all volcanic rock that the ore is found in, apparently our mine produced the purest form of silver in Australia or maybe the world ever mined called "Super Gene" at 96% or 99.6% pure silver (not sure which one it was),our ore body was a vertical ore body and the super gene sat on top of ore body like snow caps on the Swiss Alps,it looked like steel wool
Ore body was over a kilometer in height when I last worked there but the heat at that depth is too intense and is going to prevent mine going any deeper even with the assistance of ventilation
Looks like the Lone Jack mine area. Pretty cool to see gold getting taken out of our local area!
Very Nice 👍
Jason that's a nice large quartz vein, Good chance you will discover large nuggets at some point...Great Work
That's Just Impressive
So what you saying is there is gold in them thar hills !!!!
This is so cool. Been looking for a good representation on how those drills work to start a face. That is just so cool. I have a big mineralized face that i believe to be virgin, but all the mineral has leached out.
Where you been man?????
great video. i enjoyed watching the whole process from vein ore (?) to final gold button. pretty cool. this video puts in perspective what it takes to get gold; not just some old timer finding huge nuggets in the river (which is just as good if not better heheh) but i like how you show the tens of thousands of dollars worth equipment you need just to make that little button. now i realize there's no such thing as little gold but still cool.
Clean water would help with your recovery
