I am ashamed to be a friend of a women who I enjoyed my childhood with, she is a software engineer, and she abused her rights, especially 498A to harass a man and his family with a false dowry case. I got to know her true intensions, when I saw her with a man, just after 2 month of lodging the case she was behaving as if nothing happened. I am not anymore her friend.
My mausi (my mom's sister) whom I love with my whole heart, was a victim of dowry death. We lost her. And it is so sad to see women misusing this law. Because this misuse create doubts and disbelief in the actual cases, the actual victims. My sincere prayers with these pure hearted men who have been victims to these greedy cunning women.
I relate with you. My father's cousin sister was abused and strangled to death over dowly. The culprits are still at large. It is a shame that women themselves abuse the very laws meant to protect them.

@@nightking8490 Nowadays the masjid committees in India are very carefully handling the matrimonial dispute cases. I think post triple talak verdict must be one of prime reason. Masjid jamaats would be happy if couples in dispute ready for mutual consensus to continue their marriage or mutually parting away. But when they see any escalation where opposite side seeking Indian justice's solution, then these masjids handwash the cases from mediating. Like Hindus, Muslim bride families too putting false cases against men.
My family is going through this right now. My sister in law filed a 498a case against my whole family. We all are shocked and saddened how she could put such false allegations on us.
Unfortunately, our Legal System is biased against Men. The Law Minister does not seem to care, or is too scared to act. They all want to be Politically Correct and so will not touch this subject. This fight has to come from the Public only.

Men and women both are misusing this law. Most women are manipulated by the lawyers who earn commissions out of this abuse. In all these cases the wife was instigated by either brother or lawyers.

My Elder cousin was a victim of this. My cousin found out that his newly wed wife had secretly conducted abortion and killed the foetus. He was shocked and when he questioned her, which was his right, she left the house. The next day the girl and her family threatened to use 498A, but later settled for a huge sum of money(in lakhs). They divorced and now my cousin recently remarried and his living a much better and safe life. Men are not always wrong. People who have biases are.

These must be a prime agenda for 2024 elections of every man/citizen, in front of every party. Amending laws, bringing parity and more evidence in preliminary investigation. Police reforms for more no. of trained officers to do a fair/faster investigation, Judicial reforms for more number of forensic labs, judges and other infrastructure. Prison reforms for separate jails for undertrials with basic human rights of cleanniess in toilets/bathroom, not 200% overcrowded jails.
Why don’t you stand up for yourself? Men are not used to coming together and fighting for their cause because they have got rights by default. They just keep commenting on social media but it takes effort and protest to change laws. So do something for yourself also.

Well I was dying to see this documentary man. Spended my 5 years in courts, also spended my time in Central Jail also but yet not got justice from this culprit law system but but I'll not beg down I'll go till supreme court to change these one sided laws, & why the hell societ let's try to bring judgement in our own trials who knows that our judgment might get referred for the victims who are being falsely abused. Mr. Ashwani Kumar (Talking about Indian judiciary in this video) is one of the close friends of my neighbor in Gurdaspur city of Punjab, who's entire family including father, mother, 2 bothers as well as their respective wives were falsely accused in 498A and many other cases by his younger brother's wife, while the guy was working in Italy that time. The entire family was behind bars on the same day and they had to unnecessarily pay the bail amount to come out of the jail. The guy was arrested from the Airport itself by the Punjab police as soon as he reached Amritsar. The guy lost his elderly mother and father soon after the incident. The entire family is scattered now. The guy lost his entire family wealth to compensate his wife. He lost his job. Now, struggling on a daily basis to arrange money to provide monthly maintenance to his wife. I personally know this family since my birth and entire colony knows how the entire family has been destroyed by a fake case. If a person on such a powerful position like Mr. Ashwani Kumar is not able to help his friend then forgot about the common man of India. RIP Judiciary 🙏🙏
How judiciary became culprit in it? Why don't you people understand that "people" like you file cases and Judges are also human. It's impossible for them to clear pending cases. It's fault of administration and governance. People like you choose government based on caste and religion and then blame Judiciary for everything. The culprit is you..so don't blame Judiciary. Now I have decided to stay single and live my life happy because nowadays girl only wants money so she can afford her expensive hobbies ( such as travelling to out of india). I have seen lawyers leveraging their knowledge of law to settle personal scores. Most of the "normal" public have zero knowledge of law. And this fact is taken full advantage of by those who have studied law. Lawyers must be held accountable too.
Agree with u, this is nothing but a game plan to extract money. Not only lawers but judges are also accountable. They know clearly that its false case, but still they wanted to drag it... Judge should punish those people who r misusing the law but they never do that. Also changes required in this law, how come 2yrs kid, senior citizens are accused with false allegation of DV. We need more women like you Deepika Narayan Bharadwaj. I have seen many women saying "Strong and independent" but you are a definition of it. I am also a victim of fake DV charges and police arrest. I helped all women around me before marriage who needed help. When i got abused no women came and believed me. I fought back and courts have given a clean chit to me and freed me for all charges. I so much wish there were more women like you maam otherwise men will never trust a women.

Going through same ordeal since 2 years. Wife Left saying im going home for few days.Now Im Fighting alimony, domestic violence 498 cases for myself and family. She sent notices to my sister's In laws. She is having a corporate job and claiming jobless. Mentally its tough on us. Just breaks you down. No man should go through this. Thnx mam for making this video, i am also a victim of this, recently i had to settle for 10 lakhs and she had an affair with her cousin brother which she was carrying on after marriage as well, i had evidence for that but people always listen and feel pity for girls. She putted all false charges of world against me and my family like unnatural sex and all other sections. She didn't even stayed for 1 year after marriage, i was working in gurgaon and she is also from gurgaon, it was an arrange marriage. What i earned in my 5 years carrier she took it away in 10 months, now i am unemployed and sitting at home, she is enjoying on social media making reels and targeting for more followers, i left all social media platforms and i made peace with myself...
@@arnvtk yes Arun you are right , you got to trust your partner and this is the first step for any relationship, my fault was that i believed everything which she told me about herself and her past ( i guess i trusted her blindly) and still after coming to know the truth after marriage when i caught her red handed, i forgave her, and even after that also many times. I tried to fix a guy who was separated and was going to be a victim of all these cases but unfortunately he almost ruined me cz he was incapable of communicating or anything. He couldn't directly take revenge on his wife so indirectly he revenged on me cz we used to have fights and he thought I would go and team up with his small time celebrity gold digger wife. Bear in mind that I was way better family background than he was from. For a whole month after he got a notice from his wife, I was busy digging on laws to help him get through the case, was even ready to shell out money so that he could just get done by paying the alimony, wanted to do everything to keep him happy but he was on tinder and other dating sites. Never checked his phone for six months since we were dating, but one day I got a whiff and he was exchanging pictures and talking day and night with random girls to which he justified that they were his friends. On tinder he had passed on his number to about 15 girls....I broke down badly but he was so proud that now finally he could get rid of me ..but did weave a very sorry story, that I was the one harrasing him. I would never date him again but mentally that whole month I realised he had finished me mentally. Still he kept me on his social media and I also did not take him out just to see how screwed up he was and how much more revenge he could take. He had got back on social media cz i had boosted his self confidence. And for another month he kept on posting the pictures displaying his party life, his wannabe fake self just to rub it on my face....and a lot of other stuffs. Btw before I checked his phone, the previous evening he had sent me disgusting pics of him....i could have filed harassment, and also gone to his wife to give her a helping hand....however I never did that but for myself I did something...the mental assault was too much to handle so I went and smashed his house windows, his parents were there that's the only thing I felt bad about ...but after that I quit ....a lot of people will not validate my behaviour but had I not stood for myself maybe my mental state would have driven me to do wrong things to myself. After that I moved on, but I know that I will never date a guy, nor get married. I hate females who try to file fake cases to mint money, but many guys who go through stuff like this also do not learn, they will still be looking for super pretty, coy, homely and working women online, who will also help them financially 😅, wonder if tinder has girl applicants as such . Btw the female he was chatting behind my back for a month, was a mother of two kids, and he was shocked to find that out, she had been lying to him all that while and he was upset of letting her go till he didn know the truth.
ego ma'am ego. with all due respect ma'am the current laws that are totally in favor of women, are used by a woman as a safeguard and to satisfy their ego, they can do any act like an extramarital affair, being disrespectful to a man's parents or whatever they want to do. This documentary deserve a more real praise to question the these kind of misconduct of law where women takes advantages of innocents people over false cases. Even to me personally, I lost all the trust and its better to stay single lifetime rather than fighting to prove yourself innocent where even the judicial system will not hear your story. The reason why it is being misused so badly is because the women who misuse it have no consequences. Even after it has been proved that the case was false, they can get away with a "warning". They are not punished by Law for filing a False Case. Just recently, a man was released after being in jail for 1.5 years, after the woman who filed the False Rape Case accepted in the court that it was a False Case. The Judge simply "issued a warning" to the woman "Not to do this again." Is this justice? The man was in jail for 1.5 years, was fired from his job, the public humiliation his family members faced in the society, and all the disgrace they suffered, and the Judge issues a "warning". The woman should have been asked to pay for this and also jailed for misusing the law.

Very well thoughtful and factual documentary. My own childhood friend became victim of this law and harassment from his wife made him commit a suicide in April-2023. I hope and wish that justice prevails and such women get behind bars for abetting men taking such steps.

This documentary has perfectly showcased the dark side of 489A and its misuse. My heart goes to those who have undergone immeasurable torment for this irresponsible law called 498A and also I urge those women activist blindly supporting this law to wake up from their sleep of judgement to women at cost of ruining innocent lives. Lastly to those maggots who try to make money by misusing this law, karma is indispensable.

I recently got acquitted from the court in 498A and 4 other charges within 1 year. Also got divorce after a brief settlement. They initially think we are vulnerable and ready to settle on their terms. We need to show them that we are more powerful and truth shall prevail. I never had any issues regarding mental pressure or depression. Some of my friends who also faced this situation had to take therapy for the same. Instead I followed the path to show the power and if things cannot be sorted by the normal ways we have to bend the paths. Its just like a war, all we need is to win this and we cannot quit even if they try to harass us by naming our relatives and family. They should feel they are more vulnerable than us, then only we will win. I want to say this to every men who are suffering, stay strong, believe in manhood and show these legal terrorists their rightful place.

This whole film felt like a horror film till the end. This needs to be made available in all major Indian languages so the awareness spreads nationwide. India obviously doesn't have a justice system, we just a legal system with some categories of people being given legal privileges. It's naive to believe people with legal privileges will let them go on the appeal to stop its misuse & that feminist attitude towards this in the film showed a glimpse of it. Neutral or gender neutral laws are probably the best or least worst but that's the biggest reason feminist lobbies will never allow it to happen coz once you have something you never let it go unless you're forced to or its taken from you by force none of which is likely happen in India as it'll take ridiculously strong political will that too in our culture of vote bank politics.

Masjid jamaats would be happy if couples in dispute ready for mutual consensus to continue their marriage or mutually parting away.
But when they see any escalation where opposite side seeking Indian justice's solution, then these masjids handwash the cases from mediating.

Well I was dying to see this documentary man. Spended my 5 years in courts, also spended my time in Central Jail also but yet not got justice from this culprit law system but but I'll not beg down I'll go till supreme court to change these one sided laws, & why the hell societ let's try to bring judgement in our own trials who knows that our judgment might get referred for the victims who are being falsely abused. Mr. Ashwani Kumar (Talking about Indian judiciary in this video) is one of the close friends of my neighbor in Gurdaspur city of Punjab, who's entire family including father, mother, 2 bothers as well as their respective wives were falsely accused in 498A and many other cases by his younger brother's wife, while the guy was working in Italy that time. The entire family was behind bars on the same day and they had to unnecessarily pay the bail amount to come out of the jail. The guy was arrested from the Airport itself by the Punjab police as soon as he reached Amritsar. The guy lost his elderly mother and father soon after the incident. The entire family is scattered now. The guy lost his entire family wealth to compensate his wife. He lost his job. Now, struggling on a daily basis to arrange money to provide monthly maintenance to his wife. I personally know this family since my birth and entire colony knows how the entire family has been destroyed by a fake case.
If a person on such a powerful position like Mr. Ashwani Kumar is not able to help his friend then forgot about the common man of India.

I tried to fix a guy who was separated and was going to be a victim of all these cases but unfortunately he almost ruined me cz he was incapable of communicating or anything. He couldn't directly take revenge on his wife so indirectly he revenged on me cz we used to have fights and he thought I would go and team up with his small time celebrity gold digger wife. Bear in mind that I was way better family background than he was from.
For a whole month after he got a notice from his wife, I was busy digging on laws to help him get through the case, was even ready to shell out money so that he could just get done by paying the alimony, wanted to do everything to keep him happy but he was on tinder and other dating sites. Never checked his phone for six months since we were dating, but one day I got a whiff and he was exchanging pictures and talking day and night with random girls to which he justified that they were his friends. On tinder he had passed on his number to about 15 girls....I broke down badly but he was so proud that now finally he could get rid of me ..but did weave a very sorry story, that I was the one harrasing him.
I would never date him again but mentally that whole month I realised he had finished me mentally. Still he kept me on his social media and I also did not take him out just to see how screwed up he was and how much more revenge he could take. He had got back on social media cz i had boosted his self confidence. And for another month he kept on posting the pictures displaying his party life, his wannabe fake self just to rub it on my face....and a lot of other stuffs. Btw before I checked his phone, the previous evening he had sent me disgusting pics of him....i could have filed harassment, and also gone to his wife to give her a helping hand....however I never did that but for myself I did something...the mental assault was too much to handle so I went and smashed his house windows, his parents were there that's the only thing I felt bad about ...but after that I quit ....a lot of people will not validate my behaviour but had I not stood for myself maybe my mental state would have driven me to do wrong things to myself. After that I moved on, but I know that I will never date a guy, nor get married.
I hate females who try to file fake cases to mint money, but many guys who go through stuff like this also do not learn, they will still be looking for super pretty, coy, homely and working women online, who will also help them financially 😅, wonder if tinder has girl applicants as such .
Btw the female he was chatting behind my back for a month, was a mother of two kids, and he was shocked to find that out, she had been lying to him all that while and he was upset of letting her go till he didn know the truth.

The reason why it is being misused so badly is because the women who misuse it have no consequences. Even after it has been proved that the case was false, they can get away with a "warning". They are not punished by Law for filing a False Case. Just recently, a man was released after being in jail for 1.5 years, after the woman who filed the False Rape Case accepted in the court that it was a False Case. The Judge simply "issued a warning" to the woman "Not to do this again." Is this justice? The man was in jail for 1.5 years, was fired from his job, the public humiliation his family members faced in the society, and all the disgrace they suffered, and the Judge issues a "warning". The woman should have been asked to pay for this and also jailed for misusing the law.

This documentary has perfectly showcased the dark side of 489A and its misuse. My heart goes to those who have undergone immeasurable torment for this irresponsible law called 498A and also I urge those women activist blindly supporting this law to wake up from their sleep of judgement to women at cost of ruining innocent lives. I recently got acquitted from the court in 498A and 4 other charges within 1 year. Also got divorce after a brief settlement. They initially think we are vulnerable and ready to settle on their terms. We need to show them that we are more powerful and truth shall prevail. I never had any issues regarding mental pressure or depression. Some of my friends who also faced this situation had to take therapy for the same. Instead I followed the path to show the power and if things cannot be sorted by the normal ways we have to bend the paths. Its just like a war, all we need is to win this and we cannot quit even if they try to harass us by naming our relatives and family. They should feel they are more vulnerable than us, then only we will win. I want to say this to every men who are suffering, stay strong, believe in manhood and show these legal terrorists their rightful place.

India obviously doesn't have a justice system, we just a legal system with some categories of people being given legal privileges. It's naive to believe people with legal privileges will let them go on the appeal to stop its misuse & that feminist attitude towards this in the film showed a glimpse of it.
Neutral or gender neutral laws are probably the best or least worst but that's the biggest reason feminist lobbies will never allow it to happen coz once you have something you never let it go unless you're forced to or its taken from you by force none of which is likely happen in India as it'll take ridiculously strong political will that too in our culture of vote bank politics.
