Man my expectations have risen just as a result of the love I have for tech and the kool aid I’ve admittedly chugged. BYU might scare me (in addition to Iowa state of course) as far as the big 12 goes I truly don’t know how good they are but I look forward to their matchup against Arizona this week. Love the pod as always easily the best podcast ever. Wreck ‘em!!

People are critical of the offensive output in the second half, but I feel that the 3rd quarter struggles were a test that previous Tech teams wouldn't have passed. Kittley kept to the game plan, and the team responded when they needed to. This requires confidence and patience that is very difficult to maintain.
Great win. Imho, the first two quarters was the best half of football we've played all season... completely offset by the performance in the 3rd.
Numbers were still ugly tho. We got smoked in total yds, first downs, time of possession, passing yds, and penalties. We wont win many more with stats like that.

An observation on the defense in this game: I saw Tech's front stunting and twisting, I don't think they did this in any of their previous games. The only explanation I could come up with is that Tim Dereuter wasn't comfortable calling for stunts until this game. I don't know, what do y'all think?
I thought they definitely blitzed the linebackers more than any of the other games. I thought the stunts were better, but I would have to rewatch to definitively say.
@@broadwayshufflepod Yes, nice observation on the blitzes. I saw at least one blitz where they twisted the linebackers, and we got a tackle for loss. Great to see!
