Happy Holidays to my UA-cam fam ❤ thank you so much for watching, commenting & supporting my content this year! No videos next week- realized I needed to force myself to take a break after my 4th stress stye in 2 weeks 😅- but will be back after that to kick off 2024 videos! Love the freaking heck out of y’all! ❤
Hi! For understanding, the OGX miracle oil has coconut oil 6th on ingredient list after argan oil so is it still coconut oil "based"? I still using it on your recommendation!! Thanks!
Abbey you completely changed my hair this year. THANK YOU! I've been oiling, switched from $60 to $6 Pantene, & using the Elizavecca mask. My once greasy and frizzy fine hair has had a total transformation!! Thanks for all you do!
You guys are about to sell me on going back to Pantene. Used to be all I used then I switched to what I thought was higher end products. My hair is frizzy and dry now.
@nerdzombiegoddess3407 I won't go back to Pantene line because my hair is wavy, frizzy, and dry. I learned in the 10 years that the sulphate free salon products do a great job and reduce the frizz. Now I'm in the trial with the L'oreal EverPure line and I think pretty good products so far.
Sally Beauty has a great dupe for the Mason Pearson: Ion professional nylon boar bristle cushion brush for $11. If you want to try that one before committing to the Mason Pearson price tag. I’m sure the quality/longevity isn’t as good, but it’s a pretty comparable experience.
Yes, please do a dry heat protectant video. When I do heatless curls overnight, I always need a little heat to fix the “overcurliness” but I don’t want to spray a water based heat protectant to lose all the curl. 😊
I love that there are drugstore and high end items in this video as well as many more products listed in the description box. Thank you for all the testing!
I seen Tati use Micellar water in a spray bottle on her roots as a dry shampoo replacement and then blow dried. Could you try out this method and let us know what you think?
Abbey I'd LOVE to see you try a curly hair routine! You mentioned your sister has wavy hair and I notice your hair holds heatless curls and that it does get frizzy, both of which are signs you actually have curly hair. With your knowledge on hair science I'm sure you'll have some great insight. Happy Holidays!
You have to try the loreal smooth intense shampoo and conditioner. They are PERFECTION. The conditioner has amodimethicone, so it leaves the hair so silky and soft. The shampoo actually also has amodimethicone, which made me nervous because I have an oily scalp, but it also had sulphates. The combo of the sulfates with the amodimethicone makes it the perfect shampoo for fine hair texture with an oily scalp. Seriously you NEED to try.
I just want to add to the comments saying THANK YOU for what you do! After years of trying different things like the curly girl method, avoiding sulphates and silicones, buying expensive salon products etc....i decided to buy pantene last weekend and ive now got the softest, shiniest hair ive had since i was a kid. You are a gem ❤
You know you love Abbey when you already own and use religiously 95% of the products listed in this video 😂 can’t wait for all the content next year!!! xo
I absolutely love my Mason Pearson brush. It's ridiculously expensive, but it also is a life-long brush. It's heirloom quality. And it feels so, SO amazing.
Thanx to you, I purchased the OGX coconut oil and started using it as a pre wash treatment and I’m glad I did. It has been a game changer for me. It has been in my routine permanently along with the Pureology leave in and Redken’s AB treatment.
A great substitute for the R & Co Shaping Balm is the Bed Head Small Talk... it is the same type of "gel" and it's great to add body to the hair and hold the style!! And the smell is amazing!!
Not as expensive as Mason Pearson (but still pricey), Raincry is an alternative. I have the 100% boar bristle and love it. Thinking of the combo bristle brush after this video. Anyway, just thought i would share.
I use that living proof heat spray and it’s my all time favorite! 😍 I have very fine hair - but a lot of it and it’s getting pretty long. I was struggling to find a heat protectant I could pair with my holy grail leave in and wouldn’t make my hair limp. I tried tons of oils and sprays and the living proof spray is the only product I can apply and be generous with applying and my hair still has bounce. This stuff also gives my hair a luscious shine and is frizz free and smooth. I’m so so in love 😊
I LOVE the fact that Color Wow tells you right on the bottle if heat is needed or not. There’s probably so many products that I didn’t realize needed heat to activate them!
I’ve had my Mason Pearson for 15 years now. It is the only brush my two girls (3 and 5 yo) accepts for detangeling their hair ❤ I hope you have a lovely holiday ❤ love from Sweden
I love my nylon/boar bristle mason pearson brush. I know it's expensive but at the very least they seem to last a really long time. I also still use the one my mom gave me almost 2 decades ago.
Ive been using Olapex for years and Ive been so upset about my hair lately, looks dry,, frizzez out etc. I bought the Kristen Ess clarifying shampoo and the deep conditioning mask plus the Loreal Ever pure bonding condition and OMG I love them. I also bought some oils too which seriously after one or two uses, I was beyond thrilled! My hair feels so much softer and fuller. 2023 was my year of my skin and got that down pat! 2024 I am going to take serious care of my hair and am so grateful for the reccomendations!! Also bought the Dove shampoo and conditioner, love them too. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone :)
Hey did you keep on using Kristen Ess clarifying? I'm trying to decide on a product and that was the one I'm leaning towards. Was just wondering if you still like it!
@@OrNaurItsKat I do like it, it doesn't strip my hear but feels very clean and free of buildup. I do leave on my conditioner a few extra minutes. I bought the hair mask but have not used it yet. My hair loves the drug store shampoo and conditioner- Been about 6 months now and my hair is SO much healthier and thicker.
Merry Christmas Abbey! I love your videos and thanks to you I’m not wasting money on unnecessary products! My hair has seen dramatic improvements since I started watching you back in the Spring. Thank you for all of your help and hard work. It is very appreciated 😊
Abbey. How can you tell a difference between baby growth and breakage? I’ve tried to maintain good hair routine since one year. I don’t know if I’m growing new hair or it’s so bad that my hair is breaking. Lot of 10cm+ hair that is very noticeable. Doesn’t look good!
Hi, not Abbey here, but what it's worth, it sounds to me that you have grown 10cm of healthy baby hair. 10cm in one year is what I grow too. Be kind to yourself, stay on the new routine, that clearly works.
Abbey, I have been binging your hair care videos over the past few days in an attempt to heal my hair and keep it growing long and healthy. I immediately ordered a few of your most loved drugstore products (pantene volume shampoo & ogx coconut oil + a few others) to give it a try. Holy moly! Even after just 3 days I can see and feel a difference! Thank you for your videos and recommendations.
Denman, one of the OG hair brush manufacturers, do a boar bristle and nylon hairbrush for a 10th of the price, they've got different sizes too. I got one earlier this year and i use it on dry hair in the morning before going to work, leaves it looking nice and smooth and tidy, definitely recommend it!
I have a video request... would you please test and review shampoo bars? For how into hair care you are I'm so suprised you haven't already done lots of videos on shampoo bars. Would love to hear your break down of them! A really good brand to test is Ethique. There are so many varieties to choose from.
Three things......1) The Maison Pearson is a classic - I got one as a gift 30 years ago and have never been happy with anything since. If you need a great dup - you can get a Kent LPC3 brush, also made in England, from Amazon or Kent (sent International Mail) for about half the price of a Maison Pearson. If you are in the UK - the price there is about 30 pounds at at any good drugstore. I don't know if my Kent will last forever, but it works as well five years in. 2) Yes, PLEASE, need a review of light-weight heat protectants! and 3) Also would love to see a review of ACVHue Color Gloss and scalp care products. I don't buy anything anymore withut a review from you!
Love your videos Abbey! Do you have a video that addresses prolonged bleach demand specifically? I know you’ve talked about changing how you’re getting your hair colored in previous videos but I’d love to know your advice and recommendations for people who have tons of bleach damage and also still really want to keep coloring their hair- or ways they can continue coloring their hair in a way that’s less damaging. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge, research, and recommendations with us! You are definitely my most trusted hair care source 🥰❤️
Hi! Would love some tips on straight hair that has tiny breakage in the mid shaft top layer only. I have tried so many different methods, from silk scrunchies and pillowcases, loose braids, no heat, no blow dryer, different shampoos, conditioners, serums, etc. I have super stick straight hair, but can't get rid of the little short curls that pop up on the mid length. I can't tell if it's new growth or breakage. Love your channel, and would love to see a video if you haven't already done one for this. Thank you! ❤
Thanks so much for your info on Epres. I recently purchased the Epres kit. After just my second use, I was completely shocked at how much hair has NOT been in my brush and comb both immediately after my wash, and for the days after before my next wash. So far, I think this product is a total game changer for me! Love it!! Once again confirms why I have so much trust in your opinion’s & recommendations. 👍
My husband got me a mason Pearson brush the first year we were together. It’s not something I would have ever bought myself but it is indeed a game changer!
It’s a good brush for helping to spread your natural oils and making your hair shinier and less greasy. It’s what I use to brush my hair at night but not to style with.
Abbey your recommendations and tips have completely changed the game for my hair, thank you thank you thank you! Was just curious if you've done any research on ways to reverse/prevent graying? I am seeing more products on the market that claim to help with grays, am curious what you think?
Please talk about how to work a routine if you only wash your hair once or twice per week and you want to take advantage of all of the steps that you recommend - - oiling, strengthening, moisturizing. The reason I ask because it presents a timing dilemma. We can’t use oil the night before we use K 18, and if you only wash your hair twice a week and K18 recommends using it for 4 to 6 washes, then that almost takes me to the next color appointment without being able to oil at all.
Dry heat protection please!! I have been trying to find a good one💓 Will try the LP but would love a video!! Also, would love, absolutely love a video on the best root volumizers that you put on wet hair that give volume but aren't sticky or stiff you know what I mean? Merry Christmas ⛄
I'm interested in a heat protectant video! I've been using the same heat protectant literally for decades. I feel like it's such a utilitarian thing I don't really branch out but I'm into hearing more!!
Tried the Pantene you recommended and you were RIGHT yet again! It’s just the perfect clarifying shampoo. And the price of course is fab. Going to try your recommendation for the EverPure conditioner next. Thanks as always! Your hair looks beyond amazing. ❤
K18 did nothing for me actually made my hair dry and brittle after 3 months. Been loving the dove intense repair shampoo but found a new miracle product which leaves my hair like silk. It's called kertox by Viuty ❤❤❤❤ amazing. If you could let me know what you think of the ingredients Abbey 🙏
The Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Heat Protectant is by far, hands down my favorite heat protectant on earth and I will forever repurchase. I love how light weight it is and doesn’t leave my hair feel stiff or damp when styling with my straightener. It’s Amazing!
Millennial and new subscriber here! I heard about you through your sister Penny Tovar! She’s awesome. So grateful that I grew up with authoritative boomer parents who set boundaries while simultaneously encouraging questions and alternative solutions to problems.
I really wanted to like the ever pure shampoos but they Made my scalp itchy and dry. Had to switch to elvital hyaluron plump series and it works well. Cheaper too.
Happy New Year Abbey! Been a follower since late 2020! I adore you! I have a couple clarifying questions..... 1. You mention brushing everyday. As someone with fine curly hair, I find this challenging and would love love love help!! Any tips to help it not look crazy and frizzy. 2. On days you use K18 are you still oiling your hair before you wash it? Thank you!!! So much love to you!!! Take care. ❤️
Abbey, Merry Christmas!! I’ve been following your channel, using your tips and tricks, and you have changed my hair for the better!! I’m having issues with major frizz at the top of my head and around my ‘new growth’ at the forehead. Are there ANY products / tips you have for this issue? ❤
I. So happy to hear you're loving Epres! I've been using it since it came out and have had such amazing results. My lengths and ends were breaking and dry, and using Epres with the opx hair oil has fixed that issue and my hair is longer and healthier than it's ever been ❤. I use the products on your hair routine (with exception to a few due to a genetic condition, long story) and really appreciate how knowledgeable you are on everything you research and report on. Happy holidays to you and your family❤
Dear Abbey, I have been using the Living Proof PHD heat styling spray LITERALLY FOR YEARSSSSSS 🎉🎉🎉 it is my HOLY GRAIL. So glad you are finally discovering it! Living proof is my favorite ♥️♥️♥️ I also use their vanishing oil toward the ends of my wash week!!!
For the Mason Pearson Brush….it is also possible to buy that guy used to get a better deal. Because the brush is SO high quality and long lasting a used one will still be just as amazing.
My husband has dandruff - he isn't going to do any sort of scalp massage or even a two-step process. Is there one dandruff shampoo that you recommend over just head & shoulders?
I've had my Mason Pearson since I was 17 (so almost 20 years) and it still looks brand new. I highly recommend them. It's like yours, boar bristle mixed with nylon bristles.
I am definitely interested in several of the products you have mentioned. I have been using several products you have suggested last year and very happy with the results so I think I like the new products you liked too. I have tried the Living proof oil but I think I used it wrong as I didn’t see any difference but as you mentioned how you used it, like in between washes might be a game charger. I do occasionally use the OGX coconut oil and it doesn’t weigh down my hair unless I use to much but towards wash day it might help. I’d love to see a video on dry heat protection. Also so tips for mid length hair and over night to keep from tangling. I have trouble trying to keep it braided because of my layers. Tips would be welcome
Have you ever used a product that made your hair feel great after using but in the long run was damaging? I am so leery of drug store hair products and using them regularly. Merry Christmas!!
Drug store companies spend a lot more money on research and development, and have a lot more experience, and less incentive to add novelty ingredients for marketing, than salon brands. Like a lot of salon or smaller brands put a ton of ingredients in (often plant extracts) to claim they're different, whereas major companies seem to not do that as much and have more experience with their marketing ingredients (E.G Garnier does use a lot of plant extracts for marketing but has been using them forever). In order to differentiate themselves from the major companies, young companies were more likely to push solely using their "cleaners" or conditioners that didn't have cleansing surfactants (Wen, Deva Curl) which is bad for your scalp and hair follicles, and thus long term hair health. I personally suspect that products from major legacy companies are safer because of that. Pantene and Tresemme are like the Dawn of the shampoo and conditioner industry. No one can outdo them on the whole when it comes to experience, research and development, and purchasing power so just like with dish soap, companies either have to be cheaper, have a better fragrance, have more appealing packaging, make you afraid of Dawn/Pantene (E.G. sulfates, silicones), or make you like their brand image by saying they're a company that does good for the world or something. But in the end, no one performs better than Dawn. I pay a little more a dish soap that is a cute bottle and has a much better fragrance than Dawn but it actually requires more than Dawn to get the same performance and I'd think it would be a sin to pay for a soap that's 10X or more expensive - and that's how salon brands are.
Can you do one of shampoo bars and conditioner bars? Trying to pack minimally for carry on only luggage. Please also do one on carry-on only toiletry bag. 😅
I have two mason pearson, the big one you show and a smaller one I use to travel or my purse. Both were given to me as a child (5/6 yrs) I am 43 years now and I still have them, they are PERFECT, like new. I had never thought about this until now that you mentioned this. My 2 brushes feel natural to me and it amazed me to realize I’ve have them all my life ❤ thanks😊
7:55 I know of this brush actually from the long haired/coated dog community!🤣It works absolutely amazing on drop coated silky breeds, I knew of its use primarily amongst Shih Tzu owners! I never grabbed one myself with the price tag (that much for a brush for a *dog*, I can only stretch my husband's patience so far) but I've seen a lot of people swear by them!
I was given a mason pearson brush as a kid in 1984. Still using it. I have cheap combs too but i only NEED my MP brsuh and MP tortoise shell comb. No brush graveyard for me.
I’m in love with the Xmondo wave tech. It’s like a bubbly/liquidy moose. Depending on what I’m trying to achieve (natural waves or big curls with lots of volume), I’ll use more or less. You can’t over do it either, my hair always looks soft.
Thanks for all that you do, Abbey! This is the BEST place for hair care advice on the internet. I'm wondering if this topic would be something you can cover in the next year: working with hair thinning and hair loss. Until a year ago, my hair was an older version of yours - fine and large quantities of very long hair. I've worn my hair long all my life, it's part of my identity. However, a fairly serious medical condition has caused my hair to get very thin - no bald patches, but I'm getting close. Since this is due to a medical condition, (I was told it's not the drugs I'm taking) I don't know if the thinning can be stopped. What I want to know is if there's anything that can be done to slow the thinning, or at least keep what hair I still have in top condition.
You could go the Ayurvedic route and or Minoxidil. Researchers found you don’t need to use minoxidil twice a day for results. You can start at once a day then every two days. I know people say don’t use it because if you stop that hair will fall out but if you have a condition where the hair isn’t going to come back then it’s not so bad to make it part of your hair care routine. If it’s a temporary illness like stress or surgery for example then it best to wait it out without incorporating minoxidil. I hope I’m making sense.
@@TracyD2 Do you have science-based research links on Ayurvedic treatment? I'm a science geek and while I know some alternative treatments work, I prefer to see evidence. As far as Minoxodil, if I go that route it will be through my medical team. Thanks for the suggestions!
Thanks for your recommendations. I love most of the products you have mentioned, although I have some new ones to try. My favorite dry shampoo (the only one for my fine 1/2 grey hair) is Kerastase, but since it is so pricey, I'm always on the lookout for something different. Haven't found it yet...don't like the Living Proof smell, so that's a no-go. For heat styling, both Verb Ghost Prep and Glossy Shine Spray are my favorites, along with Olaplex Volumizing Blow Dry Mist. What do you think of them? I will be trying the Pantene Volume Shampoo as soon as I get back to the US.
I'm using IGK Good Behavior Protein Smoothing Spray and love it, but would love to see comparisons with similar products like B&B Heat Shield Thermal Protectant Mist, Living Proof Perfect Hair day Heat Styling Spray, or Drybar Hot Toddy Heat Protectant Mist. Thanks for all the great content Abbey!
Can you pretty pretty pretty please do a video on drugstore-only product recommendations (like everything from pre-wash to wash routine to after wash routine to styling products) for a specific goal of silky, soft, glowing, shiny hair?
After trying "healthy" shampoo bars which were destroying my hair, I found your channel and have learned a lot. Thank you! I am using ogx coconut oil you use, and I'm using the L'Orea bond l repair shampoo you use (of course using the shampoo before the treatment). OMG, the difference in less than two months is amazing! However, when I have breakage, it's still longer pieces. My hair is natural with no heat, etc. Do you have any suggestions?
Granted, I have a lot of hair in great condition, but I don’t use a brush. Wide tooth comb for wet hair and then a slightly less wide tooth comb. I’d never pay that much for a brush, even if I used one!
The mason pearson brush is so amazing! Yes that price tag is terrifying but i have been using mine for over 15 years and it was gifted to my by my mother who had used it for at least 10. I clean it out and gently wash every so often and it looks perfect! The red is a little faded on mine and some of the nylon bristles are a little bent but ill will keep using until it falls apart then invest in a new one!
Dear Abbey, after watching your review on Epres, I ordered it along with K-18 (Epres isn't easy to get while living in Mexico!). So pleased some friends are xoming from US soon and can bring it! Can you guide me on the correct usage? You suggest using Epres before washing the hair, then after washing, applying K-18. Is it better to do Epres before washing and then after washing again, before applying K-18 and living it there till next weekly wash?
Please hear me out regarding the Mason Person brush. Both nylon and boar bristles are on the soft side, even if they are super high quality and you take good care of the brush it won't last 20 years. People just use theirs waaaay beyond what would be a reasonable lifespan bc of the price. It's unlikely you'll use yours for that long, so it's best that you don't justify the purchase using a highly arbitrary price per use calculation. Souce: the women in my family have a multi generational obsession with MP brushes, I've used multiple models, l see no difference in durability between MP and other brushes of the same bristle type.
The Sonia Kashuk dupe for the Mason Pearson is so good if you can find it, but I can't pay 240$ for a brush ughhh! But they have other dupes on Amazon I would appreciate a video Abbey 😊
Just ordered the mason pearson brush on your recommendation! I have been looking for a quality best brush for my daughter’s hair and am so happy to have found your channel! Can’t wait to give her this gift which I know will be absolutely cherish by her 💝
Looking forward to trying Epres. I already have it on my list but I am trying to use up some of my haircare b/c I have SO MUCH and I am seriously running out of room to store them.
Hey abbey! Following your tips complecetly changed my hair. 😍 I‘m not based in the US ( from 🇦🇹), so not all the products you recommend are available (without paying a fortune on top of the actual price). However, the elizavecca mask was available and also for a good price. Are you planning on reviewing more products of that brand? Thank you for your content! 😍
you should definitely try the kristen ess blow dry spray heat protectant if you haven't already, because it makes my hair feel so so soft. I had no idea hair could even be that soft and smooth.
Hi Abbey! It looks like you bought the largest Mason Pearson which I’m sure is amazing but in the fashion industry all of the hairstylists use the “junior” size which is $50 or so less and is about the same size as a wet brush pro. 💖 so totally sufficient. I’ve had mine for over 15 years :)
I’ve noticed anything I’m loving also has amodimethicone up higher in the label, and thanks to you I know what to look for. My hair is very dry by nature, and I have very fine and thin curly hair, so finding something that doesn’t weigh my hair down but still conditions is not easy. So thank you for the recommendations, I’ve just started Epress and I’m hoping for good things.
Merry Christmas Abbey ❤ Do you ever wear hat or scarf in the winter to protect your hair? Can you do a winter skin and hair care video? I know those Wisconsin winters are brutal 😖
Just been recommended to watch your channel by Gemma from Pampered Wolf as she's been loving your hair care videos and I can see why, your hair looks in absolutely gorgeous condition 😍. I have fine wavy hair that's always frizzy so definitely need to check out some of your product recommendations!
Abbey, you are such a gem 💎 and Iove watching all of your videos. If I want to try a new hair product or a new sunscreen, I always check to see if you've done a review on it or not. Sending you all the love to you and Elsie. Merry Christmas
Aersol heat protectants destroyed my hair. Denatured alcohol is the number one ingredient and repeated use made my hair so dry damaged and brittle. Took about 2 months to really get damaged
Happy Holidays to my UA-cam fam ❤ thank you so much for watching, commenting & supporting my content this year! No videos next week- realized I needed to force myself to take a break after my 4th stress stye in 2 weeks 😅- but will be back after that to kick off 2024 videos! #ceasefirenow 🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸
See you in 2024! I love your videos and have helped me so much! Thank you!
Merry Christmas! Thank you for all you do. Please take care 💜
Yes, those styes are coming from stress. Take care of yourself. Wishing you peace in the new year!!
Hi! For understanding, the OGX miracle oil has coconut oil 6th on ingredient list after argan oil so is it still coconut oil "based"? I still using it on your recommendation!! Thanks!
I actually don’t mind hearing repeatedly the products you love. It just reassures me that it’s still a product worth getting.
Abbey you completely changed my hair this year. THANK YOU! I've been oiling, switched from $60 to $6 Pantene, & using the Elizavecca mask. My once greasy and frizzy fine hair has had a total transformation!! Thanks for all you do!
Omggggg 😍
You guys are about to sell me on going back to Pantene. Used to be all I used then I switched to what I thought was higher end products. My hair is frizzy and dry now.
What products do you use specifically? I also have frizzy and fine greasy hair
Frizzy hair sometimes means wavy and or curly :)
Definitely want a video where you talk about dry aresol heat protection 😍
I have been looking for a products like this for sure!!
Sold!
@@heidigries6035I like the Ouai heat protectant.
Yes, please!
Me, too!
Budget suggestion for the hair brush: wetbrush shine enhanser. Has very similar nylon and boar bristles mixed in the same way. 9€ online.
I also would really love more “best of” brand videos! Like amika, living proof, virtue, oribe, etc!
yes! me too, like what is worth or not of every brand :)
Omg abbey I started to use silicones again and my hair is looking stunning. You’re the best.
Yesssss to the lightweight heat protectant video!
Ohhhh! Need to try
Not as expensive as Mason Pearson (but still pricey), Raincry is an alternative. I have the 100% boar bristle and love it. Thinking of the combo bristle brush after this video. Anyway, just thought i would share.

How do you wash yours? I"m scared of damaging mine 😅
My mom has had a purse sized Mason Pearson brush for about 20 years as well! She gifted me my very own one about 6 years ago! ❤
They are excellent and last forever. It's an excellent purchase.
Merry Christmas!! So happy to help ❤
Abbey. How can you tell a difference between baby growth and breakage? I’ve tried to maintain good hair routine since one year. I don’t know if I’m growing new hair or it’s so bad that my hair is breaking. Lot of 10cm+ hair that is very noticeable. Doesn’t look good!
Same! 😭 I've been working on it for years and the baby hairs are longer but still sparse. There's no way to increase density without surgery
same with me!! 🥲🥲
I like your videos. I'd like you to point out which products are clean, organic, and vegan.

Thank you! ❤
Thanks for the round up! Would love to know your thoughts on Verb and Kerastase products. Thanks!
Hey girl! I’m thinking about investing in this but it’s super expensive! How did it make a difference with your hair? Please let me know :)
I think you read my mind on the mason pearson brush.... Ive been eyeing that forever. Was hoping you wouldnt like it LOL.
Yes, more style hold product tests and reviews please
Wow that’s amazing 😍
Dear Abbey,
I have been using the Living Proof PHD heat styling spray LITERALLY FOR YEARSSSSSS 🎉🎉🎉 it is my HOLY GRAIL.
So glad you are finally discovering it! Living proof is my favorite ♥️♥️♥️ I also use their vanishing oil toward the ends of my wash week!!!
I’ve had my all boar Mason Pearson brush for 20 years and it’s still going strong. Not even a thought that I’d need to replace it even in another 20!
Pleaaaase do an updated wash day routine 🙊
Boar brush daily to bring down you natural oils from your scalp as well it’s good to brush the shedding hair everyday 😉 great video
Have you ever used a product that made your hair feel great after using but in the long run was damaging? I am so leery of drug store hair products and using them regularly.
Merry Christmas!!
Never!
Yes please to the heat protectant video! I would really like to find a good fry heat protectant.
Great topic. Covid ruined a lot of people’s hair
Hi Abbey! Quick question I was hoping you could answer: do I still need to shampoo twice if I am using clarifying shampoo? Please help me 🫶🏼❤️😊
Can you pretty pretty pretty please do a video on drugstore-only product recommendations (like everything from pre-wash to wash routine to after wash routine to styling products) for a specific goal of silky, soft, glowing, shiny hair?
I’m okay with spending a little extra money for my damaged hair but $200 for a hair brush is INSANE
but you’ve convinced me I might buy it one day
There are great, more affordable similar brushes. I have a Shash brush very similar to the MP brush and I love it! $40 I think.
Are you sure it's breakage, not whole strands of hair shedding (which happens to everyone as part of a hair follicle's cycle).
@@themikeroberts it could be whole strands. They're long.
I went back to the Pantene Volume shampoo because of your recommendation! Loving it for clarifying! Merry Christmas, Abbey!
I definitely would love to see a video from you on aerosol heat protectant sprays!
I've had my MP brush for 20 ish years and it's still going strong. It's the best.
Fyi for anyone who wants a cheaper hair brush I would recommend the conair boar bristle hair brush
Hi Abbey! Have you ever reviewed the different lines of Kerastase products?
I love learning beauty tips from you!!
What are your thoughts on OBLIPHICA? Have you tried it? Good?Bad?
Thanks!
Have done coconut 3x so far. Redken bonding mask and just bought Epres. So far I have seen amazing results. Thank you for sharing all your knowledge.
Do you have finer/thin hair? Does the coconut oil work good for all hair types ?
Half of the time Abbey is talking I am looking at her big beautiful eyes and shiny glossy hair. Happy Holidays!!!
Lol! I get it, she looks like the ladies from Renaissance era paintings, she's very classically beautiful.
Happy holidays! Appreciate you thinking of us during this busy weekend
Abbey could you do a video on all things Color Wow Yes’s and No’s? Thanks so much 🤍🤍
Merry Christmas Abbey ❤
Do you ever wear hat or scarf in the winter to protect your hair?
