I love the way Baby is so caught up in the moment she keeps awkwardly dancing for a bit after Johnny leaves. It's a cute scene.

This was one of my mom's and my favorite films. Sadly, I lost her to the same thing that took Patrick from this world. Hope that he's giving her the dance lessons that she always wanted.

Cancer is bad enough and the modern medicine will get closer to beat it.
But pancreatic cancer.. that is a whole different level from ugly.. takes away the best and even the strongest...and I "fear" it might stay like that.
Aww, I am sorry to hear that. This was the first time I heard The Contours, they were the number one male group at motown until the temptations blew them out of the water. They along with Brenda Holloway, Kim Weston, The Monitors, and The Velvelettes were the most overlooked groups in the history of motown that celebrates 65 years this year. The Contours biggest problem was their songs were too repetitive. Same melody different words. Also Love Man was released several years after not in 1963.

This was my favorite movie when I was 5. Used to watch it everyday with my grandmother. She only spoke Russian and I had no idea what abortion was. Nice combo. Now that I know what it is it's hard to believe Penny would still need to find an illegal abortion today in this country. Now that I'm a physician I guess I could treat her after it goes wrong and she almost dies instead of baby's dad, awesome!
