They'll be 13 weeks old. I'd heard from a few sources that neutering BSH cats young can prevent them from developing the classic chunky head, cheeks and shoulders, but Shinobi seems to have grown magnificently despite having it done young. Thanks for putting my mind at ease regarding that! I guess it depends on how young the kitten is. I've seen the opposite occur with an older cat and a young kitten though. The cat just wanted to be left alone and the kitten wanted to play all the time!
Hey!! Mine also is a male British shorthair! And he also has that! Not entirely black, but brown-ish.. I've had my cat for almost half a year now (since he was 2 months old) and he's always had that. I heard it's totally normal and a lot of cats have them.
