Did you get to try any cask ale?
I think the overly hop profiles on the early US craft beer which you had you went to a newly opened micobrew which had a Cascade or Centenial bomb was according to MTV footage of the era referred to "Hammer time"
would love to have seen some video footage of your trip to Blighty
I didn´t realize the water profile was so strange for you. My tapwater (Breda, The Netherlands) has the following profile;
Ca2+ 60 ppm
Mg2+ 10 ppm
Na+ 13 ppm
Cl- 20 ppm
SO4 5 ppm
225 HC03 ppm.
This is my referenece point for water so the botteld water didn´t seems off to me.
Hello fellas, glad you enjoyed your time in london! Howver I am a smidge disappointed by your highlights here, Camden started well a few years ago but went a bit too popularised. Devon red is more a devonshire west country thing, of which I enjoyed many but never over ice.
Not surprised many brits love your show, great insight into american & world beer and homebrewing theory. Best, Nick in London.
Glad you enjoyed your visit to my home town. Even more confusingly the age you can consume beer cider, wine drops to 16 when accompanied and bought by an adult as part of a meal. And you wonder why you weren't checked completely confusing 😂
Interesting video. Did you find the British beers different or similiar to the British beers imported to North America?
