- Was it worth it? (Borky Pupper is very borky in this one!)
It's finally time to take another attempt at this custom modded campaign. All enemy ships were designed and voted on by the community! Thank you again to everyone who took part!

Loving the series. I will say this though: While it will be fun to see how you progress from here with virtually no combat capable ships, I think it would be ok if you reload at your last save after capturing Imgur. Just my 2 cents. (Also I love how the sleepy pupper wants to be close to you)
Phrosphor, you’re the reason I got highfleet, and I’ve been enjoying it massively!
A small idea to consider for normal play-throughs, I recommend modifying the “Rook” chassis. Removing its heavy armor, 3 of its bombs, and some fuel, results in 326 Km/H. With a 85% chance at silent strike through IRST!
Small, silent, deadly. I’d recommend going for 57mm instead of 37mm for the gun, I’ve noticed 57s are not only cheaper but also deal better incendiary damage. Mounting ASO flares are not out of the picture either. I have noticed that they suffer against armored targets, but this can be bypassed by placing Zenith missiles where some of the fuel tanks used to be.
My personal best was killing two Nimrods and a gladiator in one ship. I’ve nicknamed these modified Rooks into the: *Bishop*
Forgot to mention, they cost less than 7000 with the way I set them up
That is a really cool redesign for a hard to use little ship! I like the name change too!
@@Phrosphor thank you! I made a few others (also centered around chess-themed names) like an intrepid with top armor and a 180mm cannon, named it Knight.
The queen is a modified nomad Mk1. Just tore off all the sensors and gave it missile tubes, it looks like a brick and can deal with a strike fleet by itself.
The king is just a mini aircraft carrier with 3 sprints and a FCR. It only costs 17000 so I’d say pretty cost effective.
The pawn is a fuel tanker, plain, but effective.
Fairly certain merchant vessels sporting cruise missiles is some kind of war crime being committed.
Look up the weaponization of commercial vessels during WW1 to counter U-boats. Not necessarily the best idea, but it sets a precedent.
Definitely a violation of the 4th Khiva Convention 😂
@@DCDevTanelorn Wasn't that a great way to encourage sinking as apposed to capture?
@@SpaceSoupsYes, not that it mattered. Both sides kinda realized it was a bad idea after two cruise liners that each disguised as the other duelled it out. It was a rather absurd battle; Lazerpig has a fun video on it.
@@liesdamnlies3372 That sounds hilarious, thanks for the recommendation.
I’m surprised you don’t keep closer tabs on their comms. When I played intercepts were a huge part of the game for me. Intercepts tell me where they are and where they’re going, which lets me land ELINT assets well in advance of them, and set-up an ambush complete with cruise missiles, fighters, and a fleet to finish them off all in (very) quick succession. Really putting the map tools and clock to use feels great.
You should consider using aircraft to screen against cruise missiles. They aren’t super-effective but even a chance at killing one before it gets to your fleet is a win.
From what I can tell Phrosphor doesn’t feel like it is entertaining enough to have in a video and it increases Phrosphor’s “anxiety” while playing to decipher the messages.
Yeah @gameofkane7210 hit the nail on the head. I don't like to do the decryptions in the video as it takes a lot of time. I don't like to cut as it breaks my flow so even stopping the recording to decipher the message isn't a great experience. I used to do it and it did help but now I just roll with it.
I’m so excited to have this series continue. Pet the puppy and dodge the missiles.
Puppy is much happier today, she took awhile to settle after the move. I have a bed for her next to my desk again so there will be more snores going forward.
The fighting never ends in highfleet
Maybe we should rename it 'Fightfleet?'
Thanks for promising to upload a video a week for HighFleet, I still dont understand this game but absolutely love watching you play it!
Glad to hear people are still enjoying it. I have to say sitting down to record this series is incredibly daunting each time!
@@Phrosphor I can absolutely tell, this game looks so difficult and that so much thought has to go into it, great job on your playthrough so far however! Doing better than I ever would
I’m glad to see you back. Don’t overheat your own engine.
Roger that! Xenonauts is returning too now that Milestone 3 just dropped!
//ATTENTION: Visual Contact// The episode
That bark is a redeemable channel points thing on my streams and I think it triggers PTSD for me now.
Thanks for more HF, Phros! 🙏🏾💪🏾 The episode titles have been absolutely terrifying
Haha, I am glad they are having an impact!
Dang you were close to having your whole fleet wiped out.
Hm. Valiants aren't supposed to blow up on taking off. Wonder what happened. I guess if it was wrongly positioned on a little ridge maybe it settled it's weight right on the thousand-tonne bomb?
First time this campaign and they've been all over the place, so I'm gonna say it's totally not my fault.
The Valiant has been an unbelievably effective little corvette.
Hooray, the best series on UA-cam continues :)
nice
Aw hell yeahh!!!!!
I'm a bit sad no updates ... considering how mutch he got his ass kicked it's understandable .
But even restarting woud be better then giving up.
Still a nice series though.
12 days later :*
JK, do it right.
