Wolfpack, it wasn't just the prospect of a new theater that made me click over to this video fast enough to get whiplash: It was the fact that you're playing the defensive side. Wow! Most WotS campaigns start pretty slowly, as the opposing sides move their forces into position. But, this one started with quite a dramatic opening series of battles! One piece of advice for anyone playing this game: Never, never leave combat while an enemy carrier is on fire. More than any other type of ship, carriers can go from relatively lightly damaged all the way to sinking, as long as they continue to burn. This is also historically accurate, with many real examples from WWII. Good job getting the fires put out on the Hermes, and good luck with the campaign!
This mod really captures the hopelessness of the british early on but the enemy ai is not the greatest still aiming for destroyers instead of the carrier

Im actually from the Maldives where Addu Atoll is located. There definitely wasn't much of a Naval port located there.
I cant express how glad i am you have a new campaign with a new map!
Damn, started with a BANG! I love these War on the Sea campaigns glad you started another one!
Loved the video @Wolfpack345! Can't wait for the next video man! Finally got a chance to check out One of the Modded Campaigns for War on the Sea here on the Channel man and you're off to a Pretty good start.
Historically, HMS Hermes was traveling between India and Ceylon (Now Sri Lanka) at the time of her Sinking when the Imperial Japanese conducted the Indian Ocean Raid between March 31st to April 10th, 1942. She was lost along with HMS Cornwall of the Kent-group and HMS Dorsetshire of the Norfolk-group, County-class Heavy Cruisers on April 5th, 1942 (Easter Sunday, Hence the Allias of "The Easter Sunday Raid"). Several Lockheed Hudson and PV-1 Ventura Bombers were lost in the Skies as well, going toe to toe with the Mitsubishi A6M2 Zero Fighters from the Kido Butai.
As always, The battles you get into with the Game always looks good to the Point of me wanting to try my luck on the Tabletop with "Axis & Allies: War at Sea" including some Custom Stat Cards from the Community like Forumini on their Website or Enabrantain on Facebook. They've done fantastic work with their Cards and Adding new and Interesting Units to Play around with and I absolutely love it.
Once I've caught up on "Defence of the East" and SEA POWER, I'll probably try and See "ABDACOM Defensive" and "Centrifugal Offensive" and get a look at how those went. Getting within 10 Miles (16,246 Meters or 16.2 Kilometers) of the Japanese with Hermes, Jesus God Almighty!
Let me know what you think about this and I'll catch you in your next video man!
So excited. What a nice surprise
Holy. First episode and already a massive blow to the Japanese! Excellent work admiral
Woooo! Can't get enough War On the Sea content!
I never thought I would enjoy watching OTHER people play games, but Wolfpack makes it entertaining and educational. Thank you, Wolfpack!
Only a half year late. You're doing an amazing job with the cinematic aspects of this game. I love these series!
A new campaign! Fun guaranteed. A pretty hard battle for the start and a nasty surprise with the carrier and the battleship. You can do it!
Well, that was certainly a dramatic Episode 1. Really looking forward to more!
This looks like it is going to be another fun campaign for you and a lot of good viewings for us to watch. The new mod looks like a good one.

Ah, good! I just couldn't bring myself to watch any of your last campaign of Centrifugal Offensive. And what a great start - scratching one IJN flattop!
Man! Kicker right from the get-go. This is the nightmare for my Italian carriers in HOI4; the early war torpedo bomber strike. Well executed and the AI seems to be on the ball.
HELL YEAH NEW WAR ON THE SEAS SERIES, MY ABSOLUTE FAVOURITES RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH
When you’ve just finished watching Wolf fly a sortie into France in today’s upload and then you realised you missed this yesterday (mainly because of WoT), a good surprise!
Excellent to see a new theater
Great Episode. Excited for this campaign.
That was really exciting. What a steep challenge this is going to be.
Seeing that flight of Swordfish in action gave me goosebumps, great stuff!
Wow, talk about being on the edge of your seat! Can't wait for the next one.
