Laezel is a literal space alien to the other party members while Shadowheart is much more familiar to the rhers. In fact the ones who know what Laezel's race is all about will like her less since they're known for their cruelty. And Laezel herself doesn't help her case being continuously confrontational and saying downright evil stuff. Also she started the conflict and explicitly threatened Shadowheart's life. It's no wonder the others don't mourn her, in fact I'm surprised nobody said "good riddance"
It seems not to be just dog collar. I found another exact looking one in a Sorcerer grave in the Underdark. A second worn by a living Harper, though there’s no dialogue option about it. A third one I found on a dead Sharran, though not wearing it. Haven’t figured out what they are though.
First of all, revivify must be cast within one minute of death (in PnP at least). Second, the soul must be willing to come back and Laezel might be holding a grudge after Shart murdered her and you just watched. Third (real reason) is game design, the devs want your actions to have consequences and not be fixable with a simple spell

huh, i never got this scene, and i did not "steal" the artifact from shadow-heart either just moved it into my inventory by mistake
Did you dismiss her because the artifact automatically gets moved to the players inventory if you dismiss her.
