Dang that is a sweet-as ride... Y'know what we've used to make the folded up 'ragtops' is something called 'Steelstik' from those nice folks at JB Weld. Used it for a Matchbox Rolls Royce so far... Another method we used to make a Matchbox Lincoln Continental Mark V a breeze-mobile was simple cut cardboard. Worked a treat...
So glad to see a new video and it was worth the wait. Attention to detail is amazing - the lights make all the difference. With Matchbox Garage and Marty's MM having gone quiet for a long time, it's good to see my favourite restoration channel is still going.
Hey Juan, Hope you have had a good break and not a sick one. Glad to see you again. That was an amazing treatment to the back panel on the Tbird she turned out sweet. take care brother and Cheer's JV
A beautiful resurrection. I'm a sucker for green, so I'm gonna like it a little more. So good to see you again, I assume that life is good and you haven't had time for this. No biggie, it's always a pleasure to see you, and hopefully, a little more often. Peace and love! ✌& ❤
Great to see you back Juan. Once again you proofed you belong in the diecast hall of fame! Yours is one of my 5 favored channels and I thought you were mia like Marty and Rob. A year ago, after Austin came back, suddenly you and later Rob vanished . I hope you are ok, only busy with your job and a good life. Ps: 3:30 just a thought, but you do own a jewelers saw.
Thank you very much for your kind words Tina. Everything is OK, just busy with other stuff. I actually used your jewellers saw to cut the panel. Thanks again
Welcome back Juan. Once again another fantastic renovation. Most wouldve used putty on the rear gap to create a folded soft top. But the speedster look is beautiful. That shade of green is quite reminiscent of the Matchbox 73c Mercury Commuter model.
What a coincidence: I was mentioning you to Martin Dare today, and lo and behold, you pop right back up again! Nice to have you back! Whatever you were doing, you didn't lose your touch - that folded ragtop looks lovely. I'd have been tempted into a wee strip of wetwipe along the roof to give a bit of texture to the folded final, but the colours are great and the whole thing looks SO much better than the original toy. Good to see you!
Hey, two months late I know, but I was sitting there thinking 'you know, there's something missing from my weekends' and then 'I wonder if?...' - very glad I checked now - another great build from the Maestro....hope you're doing well my friend and I'll keep my fingers crossed for more!

Juan, great to see another video I have missed your work, this one is fantastic excellent detailing work, and that back panel looks factory. all the best Martin 👍
So good to see you back Juan! Have really missed your uploads. What a come back though and what a result. Such attention to detail and such craftsmanship with that panel... it looks perfect. All finished off with your signature paint job. Bravo!
Good to see you back Juan; it's been a while. That ******* cutting wheel could have gone anywhere - restoring Matchbox cars should be an extreme sport; way too dangerous for me.😂
@@MatchboxResurrection Glad to hear you're doing okay. Sometimes it's good to recharge your batteries. I truly understand, and I look forward to seeing you return with something new!
Dearest friend Juan it's been a real long time since I got to talk to you I've been very sick I apologize for not coming back and talking to you I've talked to George a lot and to Johnny V but I don't get a chance to talk to you or anybody else please accept my apology shortly I'll be going to see George so cuz my daughter's moving back I've been very sick and I'll be back running around I feel better thanks again for doing a wonderful job on the T-Bird and how are you
