Warner Bros has done so much unforgivable shit, even up to now with their franchises but the way they mis-advertised The Powerpuff Girls Movie is on a top 10 list out of a million things I'll never forgive them for. They made the movie look like it was a girly, kiddy movie that would appeal to that demographic AND released between comparatively more popular movies. They didn't even have a second trailer, for Christ's sake!
I couldn't get enough of the show as a little boy and even I was afraid of going out to see it because of what people would think. Sigh, Warner Bros can never do anything right with superhero movies, can they?
All it did was discourage Cartoon Network from releasing an original theatrically exclusive movie ever again. I was mad that Big Picture Show didn’t release in theaters but it does make sense WHY they didn’t. And on one hand, I wouldn’t mind a live action Ben 10 movie. At the same time this is Warner Bros we’re talking about.
Edit: another shit decision was forcing the filmmakers into downplaying a blatant R-rated Scooby Doo parody into a PG movie
Omg you’re right, I forgot they only made one trailer for the Powerpuff movie. The marketing department was such a mess and that led to us being left with a bunch of empty promises.
That one movie ruined it for everyone unfortunately

I want these theatrical movies of Cartoon Network shows to happen:
- Ben 10 (a live-action theatrical movie)
- Samurai Jack (a live-action theatrical movie)
- Adventure Time (multiple movies for theaters and home media for a potential movie franchise)
- Steven Universe (a theatrical movie based on the series would be fun)
- Ed, Edd n’ Eddy (a new movie set within the universe of the show could make some sense)
I so desperately would love for all of these things to happen, man I really hope Cartoon Network gets the courage to make more films

I just don't understand how Nickelodeon and Paramount managed to make a huge line-up of cartoon movies on the big screen, but Cartoon Network and Warner Bros wasn't able to pull off the same success. The Powerpuff Girls Movie made for a great origin story for the girls, and I thought it was awesome, but because of when the movie was released in theaters it ended up getting the lowest ratings and ruined the CN Cinematic Universe.
It truly is unfortunate, cartoon network has the most potential for incredible movies but one failure ruined it all. Makes me sad
@@Childishju The sad thing is Disney movies tend to be either hit or miss when it comes to box office ratings and that didn't stop them from making more films. I think that the fact Warner Brothers had all these great movies in the works but cancelled them after one failure proves the company is run by cowards who don't want to take risks in the world of animation. 😥😠

They really should’ve released that adventure time movie. Not in 2015 though, hate to say it but it most likely would’ve failed. At that time a lot of adventure time fans dropped the show and in general it lost a lot of popularity. It should’ve came out in 2013-2014 and it definitely would’ve made bank since Adventure time was one of the most popular things back in the early 2010s
@@3Hunna-sosa yeah that’s true, adventure time did have a fan drop off in 2015, so it dropping then could have failed or who knows maybe it could have revitalized the franchise, who knows

I want a theatrical Steven Universe movie for theaters that’ll be a big movie musical for the big screen!

Out of all the other movies that could’ve worked as a theatrical film like samurai Jack and Ed Ed’n Eddy, why does it have to be the freaken teen titans go one🙄🤦🏾♂️. Hell even Regular Show the movie would’ve been better than ttg.
And the box office reflected that. The movie made money but I highly doubt that it made as much as a samurai Jack movie would have. It’s just unfortunate
