Another winning video of Holyoke. The Berkshire Ave building at 7:00 was connected to the mill where my Dad worked when I was a kid. I'll ask my sister to show it to him and see if he remembers. Thanks for showing Holyoke. Keep up the great work.
They actually still make paper in Holyoke. Other rail served industries there include scrap yards and a waste facility. I think there’s also a couple plastic pellet customers in the area.
Like this video, good content with excellent editing. For those of us just getting into this sort of ' cinema veritae' ; could you tell us what are the mechanics of making a mini documentary. What editing system and cameras do you use. How did you learn to make films? Thanks, Bill S.
The beginning is Springdale, behind US Tsubaki I believe. At 7:00 is South Street close to Main St. The large mill building is on Berkshire Ave. The Street running section is Water Street between the third level canal and the Ct River between Cabot St and 391.
@SouthCoastRailVideos Hey I would love for you to try south Deerfield yard in south Deerfield Massachusetts. I know you have been there and the yard was probably dead. Now it has changed Alot alot more trains maybe 12 to 15 per day
@CRTinyDuffy these if I remember right have just around 1800 HP a little under that. What a great locomotive. There's a place where I wish someone would Document some train activity.
@CRTinyDuffy Milford New Hampshire they have a small rail line thought there that pam am had rights too. I barly see any trains on this track any more. Do you have any info about that area? You go everywhere kid I have been watching your videos for about 1 year if not more by now.
Is it me or is this an extended version of the last video that came out last week 🤔..still a great video though, love their little "tucked in" yard in Westfield..👍

Boy Mike you do get around.
What happened to the CF7s? Long gone? Talk about going the distance!
One is still around and the other was scrapped a year or so ago.
Any idea what their schedule is? OD time? And do they still use the CF-7? I'd like to check this out in July.
at one time the town was known for making paper, what types of industrial activities go on there nowadays? thanks

At 6:40 and 10:10 the track looked very bent and windy. Train went through OK.
