Very helpful Video thanks!… For ages my button on VoiceRecorder took several presses to make it work. Incredibly annoying when you need to instantly switch on the recorder. The suggestion that you put on background app refresh for the VoiceRecorder app was what solve the problem for my phone! 🙏🏽
My iPhone 8+ when I make a video on the camera app it works perfectly (the audio) but then when I sent a vn on WhatsApp I discovered wen I played it it was like a radio static noise tried the voice memos the same thing pls what’s the fix
That's BS, my phone wont even go into record mode, videos don't record sound and phone app say microphone not available like yours turns into a square recoed button when you press it, mine doesn't do that.

Something my iPhone are don’t haven’t my voice memos app but I couldn’t find them
None of what you suggested solved my similar issue. My phones sim card was bad. I put in a new one and the voice recorder started working again.
So, the sound records when I am recording a video, but I've tried all these things and voice memos is still not recording sound.
