I had a problem with any app that uses the mic, Phone, Siri, Voice Memos etc, and the video function on the Camera, on my iPhone 7Plus since upgrading to 15.3.1. The only temporary fix I can find is doing a reset and then they work for a few hrs so I know it's software problem but I doubt Apple's gonna come to rescue 😅 Should've stayed on 14.8...Any ideas of how to fix that don't involve buying a new phone?
It says app clips and there is nothing there I loaded zoom and gave it permission but still does t work. Every once in a while a hard reset brings it back but not for long alos the Bluetooth works fine 100% very odd software issue. I regret updating the iOS. I found the phone in the drawer and it is in brand new condition.

And if you are trying to record a call, video or audio with screen recorder, according Apple’s privacy policy, it won’t work. And if you are not able to use Voice Memo, it is probably a hardware issue.😊
My problem is that when I try to test whether if its a hardware related issue or a software related one, I just simply cant. Voice memo won’t let me start the rec, when in a call the phone wont let me put it on speakers and even when recording a video it shows that it has sound but wont let me turn up the volume. Back in Oct I was able to record some voice memo, when restarted the phone i had one chance of using the mic, cuz everytime i started a new memo it was gradually worse than before. So imo its not hardware related but then what should I do?

I think mine might be a software problem, because when i followed these steps it worked perfectly fine almost for 3min then it stopped again. The problem is when the mic is not working properly it affects other apps like camera. When i use voice memeos sometime it recordes the audio, sometimes it doesn't respond at all, and sometimes it gets stuck. The camera app also gets affect when the mic is not working, it won't let me take pics or record videos.

I have EXACTLY the same problem and it's due to the new iOS 15.1 I think (for mine tho). You need to downgrade your iPhone on iOS 14 or others but my problem is that the IFPSW for the iOS 14 isn't signed by Apple anymore so i can't backup on iOS 14 using iTunes ... And others app to do it whitout iTunes are in premium -_-

Since a few days My 7 plus starts by stop recognizing my EarPods some times, now I have to reset the network and after a minutes of bootloop when finally starts everything is working perfectly I even can send voice notes on WhatsApp or any other app but when i used the cámara on WhatsApp or the camera app my phones freezes a seconds and then stops recognizing EarPods and microphone ☹️☹️ i think it may be the audio codec but i reset the network again and it happens the same work then camera then not work 😔 hope you can help me on this 🥺
