I am lucky enough to live in Australia. I moved here from New Zealand in 1988 and have grown to love the place. I am now an Australian citizen, so I can have the best of both countries.
Yes I have to agree but the Steve Erwin memorial day with John Williamson singing true blue. I still to this day cry when ever I see it. I still miss him. 🙏🕊️🇦🇺
The children situated at Longreach is where QANTAS was founded in 1920, and I believe this is the most beautifully produced ad ever created. I may be wrong, but that's my belief. Cheers, mate.

I Still Call Australia Home is a song written and recorded by Peter Allen [who's life story inspired the musical "The Boy From Oz"]. QANTAS has used the song in their advertising campaigns. It is considered an unofficial national anthem. Appearing here are: Kylie Minogue, Troye Sivan, Hugh Jackman [who starred in "The Boy From Oz" on broadway], Ash Barty and Adam Goodes.

@@Quinctili Granted, it would need to be altered a little to be our national anthem, but when you look around the world at all the different anthems of different countries, there's a huge wide variety and many are indeed just a song that represents what the country and culture is about, and the songs vary greatly in style. Ideal would be verses 1, 2, 3, lumped together without a break between them, then the chorus, and leave out the rest of it. But it certainly could be a national anthem for Australia if done right.
My nephew left England for Australia in his late 20s. He loves it there. Sadly his mum, my sister was killed by hit and run driver and having to tell him on the phone was hard. He came back to Bolton for the funeral and stayed a while. He has returned to Australia and I think he will stay there. He has been back to England since to visit but his life now is on the other side of the world. It is hard being so far away from a loved one but he has made a life there now. I miss him so much, thank goodness for facetime.
@@adrianross8383 Thanks for your kind words. My nephew is going to try and visit more often as he is now an uncle himself 🙂. I can't visit Australia unfortunately. (Health).
Beautiful..love Hugh Jackman...the children's choirs were gorgeous...I'm British but feel a strong bond with Australiam, they share our sense of humour and like a good swear..lol
Lots of bands and singers to listen to - AC/DC, INXS, Cold Chisel, the Angels, Little River Band, The Teskey Brothers, John Farhnam, The Divinyls, Baby Animals, The Veronicas, the Little River Band, Jimmy Barnes, Diesel, Guy Sebastian, Delta Goodrem, Jessica Mauboy, Men at Work - countless more couldn't possibly name them all
Haven’t lived in Australia since 1980 (yep, I’m old) but visit regularly to see family & friends. This video always pulls at my heartstrings…. pure patriotic blubbering . Thanks JP….
This is an advert for Qantas airways and has been around for many years with different versions, another good anthem that depicts Australia is a song called Great Southern Land by a group called Icehouse, you’ll enjoy that one.
Unfortunately I Still Call Australia Home can't be considered an anthem. You have to be able to march into sporting occasions etc to the anthem, so it needs to be in 4/4 time. I Still Call Australia Home is in 3/4 (waltz) time and can't be marched to. Great Southern Land is a bit of a dirge.
This song will have any Australia with tears in their eyes. Went to a Bette Midler concert in Sydney where after paying Tribute to Peter Allen (the Singer and Song writer) she sang this song. That bitch knew she would have everyone at the concert fully welted up. WOW. What a memory.
I’m not an overly patriotic Aussie but even I shed a tear of pride when I watched this for the first time before work one day. I do consider myself very lucky to have been born in this country.
Ok so I was a bit miffed about you not being patriotic but knowing you know how lucky and blessed we are saved you. We all express ourselves differently and you reminded me not to judge others and their words. Thank you
Yep as others have said, is another incredible TV commercial for our major national international airline QANTAS. The indigenous lady at the start of the commercial represents the oldest continuing living culture in the entire world - over 65,000 years. The message is that everywhere is far from Australia and while we as a people love to travel, not matter where we go, we still call Australia home :) I've been all over the world. The US many times, Europe, China etc...but when you see a Qantas tail at the airport, you see that kangaroo on that red plane tail, it often makes you feel instantly homesick and I've even teared up. Love your channel - Keep up the great work! Craig
"" I Still Call Australia Home " is a song by Peter Allen, it was used as an advertisement for QANTAS - the Australian airline. ( Hugh Jackman was in that ad who portrayed Peter Allen in " The Boy From Oz " on Broadway. ) Some singers and bands you could listen to are, John Farnham, Jimmy Barnes, Kylie Minogue, Silverchair, Midnight Oil, INXS, Powderfinger. Just to name a few.
Seen this a few times chokes me up each time. More Brits emigrate to Australia than any other country I think. I emigrated in 1988. Got married there & our 1st born was born in Oz. I couldn’t settle. My family did I couldn’t. I lived there just over a year. Beautiful country. I ended up coming home to the UK. But I still have family there. It will always have a special place in my heart. Xx
You mentioned checking out some Aussie music, you won’t be sorry if you look at John Farnham singing with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. Highly recommend the songs Help or The Voice, both are absolutely fantastic.
Beautiful song, beautiful country and it was great to get a glimpse of Kyle. Tons of great Australian films; my favourite is "Priscilla, Queen of the Desert", which is very funny but also captures a part of the Australian soul.
Thank you for the respect for the video you watched, there is quite a background story to it, with snippets in the other comments. You just opened a door very wide asking for Aussie music talent: Australia has some of the most amazing hidden singers and bands. Starting point could be with John Farnham. He is our favourite son who has been our much-loved king of music, performing with no loss of range or power from the age of 18 until a surgery this year at 73. He has an amazing range, unique vocals, incredible stage presence, performs better live and never misses a note. You will recognise some of the songs he has written and performed on movie soundtracks (You're the Voice), a Beatles cover (Help) he made entirely his own, but there are many other amazing songs he has written that you will not have heard. He has sung with Ray Charles, Tom Jones, Olivia Newton John (a very close friend), Celine Dion...Robbie Williams recently sang one of John's songs and dedicated it to his recovery. Any song from the 1980s concert with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra (MSO) is just amazing to view.
John Farnham..Sadie..spare me.If you want Aussie talent how about Linda and Vikka, Lobby Lloyd, Masters Apprentices, Rose Tatoo not some wimpy voice thanks.
@@sg3596 Wow, bit out of touch. Sadie was 60 years ago - I don't think too many of us would like to be solely judged on our first performance in our first job. John has an extensive vocal range, A2 to G5, immense power, and gives an impeccable performance every time, whether singing ballads, rock, opera or musical theatre. John is the only Aussie to have a #1 record in five consecutive decades. Whispering Jack went 24x platinum and is the second-highest album sold in Australia by any artist (Meatloaf #1). Someone with a wimpy voice would not be the first singer approached by Queen to replace Freddie Mercury. Listen to Black Dog, a recording of his sound check, some time. You can say you don't like his music, but calling his voice 'wimpy' is just way off.
All I can say is that Australia was a fantastic place to visit. So much to see and do along with really friendly locals. My biggest regret was not taking advantage of the working student visa scheme when I was younger. A great way to see the real Australia, earn some money along the way and it's something else to add to your résumé/CV.
It's such a huge, diverse country, just a holiday of a few weeks isn't enough time to explore all there is to see and do. To really "feel" a place, you need to be able to stay a while. I love our country and have been fortunate to live in all but 1 state, in various locations. Holidayed in many other parts.
Greatest country in the world! Goosebumps every time as an Aussie! That clip included Kylie Minogue, Troye Sivan, Hugh Jackman singing, Ash Barty (tennis player on FaceTime call), and Adam Goodes (AFL player by the pool). Another video recently released by Tourism Australia taking you on a fun trip around Australia is below. ua-cam.com/video/P3PdfWVk7h8/v-deo.html
You want Aussie bands/musos..?? Omg where do we start..??? There’s John Farnham, Jimmy Barnes, Diesel, Guy Sebastian, Matt Corby, Tina Arena to name but a few.. have you got a spare ten years? 😂 Start with John Farnham’s Help with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra….. that’s a pretty big rabbit hole 😉 Great reactions btw, loving your Aus content 🇦🇺
Aussie here. This song is embedded in our culture, has been for so long. It's become the anthem of knowing that no matter where you go or how far you are gone, Aus is still home. If you're looking for Aussie bands or music to listen to, definitely check out Jimmy Barnes both solo and with his band Cold Chisel - ABSOLUTE AUSSIE MUST! Loving these videos, mate! Keep em coming!
The song was written by Peter Allen, who left Australia to find fame in USA… The song came out in 1980… and has often been suggested as a logical development from the past insistence that UK was “home”. Today the song tends to be classed as Australian iconic music, along with I am Australian by the Seekers and Waltzing Matilda ( lyrics by Banjo Patterson). There are others, but most people know these: one for patriotism, one for multiculturalism and one for acknowledging our historic itinerants who were often forced to steal to survive. This video you watched was an advert for Qantas Airlines… the oldest continuously running commercial airline in the world. I am a proud Australian, and pleased you liked the song written by the ex husband of Liza Minnelli…
'I Still Call Australia Home' was originally written by Peter Allen, who moved to the US and became a big star. Sadly, he died of AIDS in 1992. 'I am Australian' is another lovely patriotic song written by Bruce Woodley, who was in a world famous group called The Seekers. As for Aussie songs, my god there are so many to check out! Solid Rock by Goanna and Great Southern Land by Icehouse tell Australia's story from a different angle. And for general Aussie songs, try anything by John Farnham, Jimmy Barnes, INXS, Midnight Oil, Diesel, Cold Chisel, Guy Sebastian etc etc ... 😊
New Zealand please Joel. It is down in the same part of the world, yet it is so different to Australia. So when you finish with Australia, I would love to see some New Zealand videos. Perhaps the most quintessential Australian song is "Down Under" by Men At Work. Great tune and interesting lyrics!
I just have to add that I am in my 70’s and have always believed that the US influenced our music, but the depth of the Australian music scene was enhanced to another level from the UK and NZ talent that grew up and turned up here in Australia 👏👏👏
so many to check out ...Our John Farnham an amazing singer, Steve Irwin, who sadly died from a stingray, it broke so many of us here in Australia to hear of his passing. That's just a couple for starters. Love your channel, it's awesome.
This is a popular song by Australian singer songwriter Peter Allen in 1980 adopted by airline Qantas for their marketing. This version is sung by a choir they put together from multiple children's choirs including the Australian girls choir, national boys choir, Sydney children's choir and Gondwana national indigenous children's choir. Various versions of the advertisement were made over the years, this one with some famous Australian cameos
Listen to I am Australian but the seekers! It’s awesome! Every time I hear it it brings a tear to my eye, as an Australian it is a song that I feel is part of my being.
UK born and bred myself, I have family in OZ and some friends, I've been to visit, it is an amazing country for sure. But I still call England my home 😊👍
Oh, it should be our anthem. It's by Peter Allen who was at one time married to Liza Minelli. He was a wonderful songwriter. He wrote a magical song about Judy Garland titled "Quiet pease, there's a lady on stage ..." if you feel so inclined, search it out. I met him, only briefly and merely by chance many many years ago. If you can call it a meeting. I was seated with a friend in a restaurant, close to the window looking out on to the street. Peter Allen walked by, and peered through the window right into my face where I was sitting. He then came in with a small group of friends to have a meal. At first, when his face was pressed up against mine with only the pane of glass between us, I think he could tell that I knew who he was but I could not quite place him. I looked at him as if to say: "I know you!" Ha! Then the penny dropped and as he walked through the door he said words to the effect: "Almost had you fooled ..." Well, that's my Peter Allen story. Joel, there are many wonderful bands from Australia, and from New Zealand too. Dragon has long been an all time favourite. Fine kiwi lads who settled here in the 1970s to become icons. And of course there is also AC/DC. Solo artist, Olivia Newton John who held such close ties with Peter Allen and who sadly passed away recently. One major group who were so wonderful was The Seekers. Lead singer Judith Durham also passed away within days of Olivia Newton John. Judith Durham's voice was sheer magic! Perfectly centred, completely resonant., every thing sung simply and with so much ease. Back to "I Still Call Australia Home" - if Music is a nostalgic art this song epitomises that sentiment. Blessings! Show less
You met Peter Allen? I’m so jealous. He was a brilliant song writer. And that special song he wrote for Judy Garland, ‘Quiet Please, There’s A Lady on Stage’. He had so much love and respect for her and what she’d been through. Yes I’ll stay jealous lol 😊
G'day Joel! If you want to see another of your video's views go through the roof, react to one of Australia's favourite artists of all time, and one of the world's absolute best male vocalists - "John Farnham & The Melbourne Symphony Orchestra: You're The Voice": ua-cam.com/video/6m2m_9Uijso/v-deo.html
As a school kid in the 90s I got to learn to sing this song really well in Choir group. It still one of my favorite songs to sing and there is something soo beautiful about the calm timing which describes Aus soo well. When you harmonise in a Choir that is a spine tingling experience. Such great memories.
This ad always warms my heart everytime I watch it and everytime I hear this Peter Allen's song. It is such a beautiful song! Thank you for your reaction.
I Still Call Australia Home was written by a deceased Aussie named Peter Allen who was married to a famous US actress' daughter Judie Garland's , he was gay, it is a lovely song about Aussies , their travels and what we call home. Musically check out John Farnham and the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, particularly his version of Help ( Beatles' song) and You're The Voice. Stunning singer who chose to stay here but could have made it anywhere. When you hear him you'll understand .
I'm first-generation Aussie and I grew up watching this ad. They've made so many of these over the years since I was a small child, and now they drop this version. I shed a few tears watching them everytime because of how much I love this song and how much I resonate with. I'm true blue, through and through.
There was an amazing Australian entertainer by the name of Peter Allen who wrote and performed this. I have heard dozens of versions of this son, and they all give me goosebumps. Hugh Jackman did a wonderful stage show about Peter Allan’s life. If you want another Peter Allan song that might make you cry, look up Tenterfield Saddler.
Peter Allen wrote this song. He spent a lot of time overseas and he really did miss Australia. It’s a lovely song. His music was beautiful. QANTAS use this song for their commercials.
Some Australian bands/singers are AC/DC, INXS, Men at Work, Cold Chisel, Midnight Oil, Kylie Minogue, Dannii Minogue, Jessica Mauboy, Silverchair, John Farnham, Troye Sivan, Guy Sebastian, Peter Allen (I think he wrote this song), Olivia Newton-John (best known internationally as Sandy from Grease), Sia, Keith Urban, Natalie Imbruglia, Vance Joy, Tones and I, The Kid Laroi, Tina Arena, Paul Kelly, Delta Goodrem, The Wiggles, Nick Cave.. there's A LOT of talent down here!
The Seekers I am Australian. Our unofficial Aussie anthem. John Farnham known here as the voice. Singing You're the Voice with Melbourne Symphony orchestra is next level. Another song every Australian knows. Great Southern Land by Icehouse another unofficial Aussie anthem. We have a few🙃🇦🇺
This is an excellent commercial by Qantas. The original song by Peter Allen is also gorgeous. There are many many versions of this song. For recommendations on Australian artists, Id say start off with John Farnham and "You're The Voice", he has done lots of others but that is his signature song. After that there are great songs by Midnight Oil (Beds Are Burning) Icehouse (Great Southern Land) INXS (Need You Tonight) Crowded House (Dont Dream Its Over) Cold Chisel (Flame Trees) etc etc. I could have listed many songs for each of these great Australian artists and many others besides, AC/DC, Kylie Minogue, Bee Gees, Olivia Newton-John to start with. Im so happy to see you take a look at Australia, I will happily join you for this ride. Im from Perth, the capital of Western Australia although I was born overseas Ive lived here since I was 6. Loved your main channel for a long while now (I think I was first drawn to it because of yr Queen reactions, Im a big fan!! Lucky to have met Freddie Brian and Roger) and Im very happy to start with this one. All the best Joel! And to Will and Cameron too :)
Peter Allen was a true Aussie icon who sadly passed away in 1992. A country boy at heart, as some trivia he was once married to Liza Minelli. Qantas adapted his song (Rio changed to Rome to fit their schedules) but it is truly an iconic song. They first did this in the 1980s I think, I remember it being around when they used to have the old 747-200s doing the island hops across the Pacific. I’ve since been to NYC a few times on Qantas now and each time they played the song on the PA system as you boarded. It felt like home immediately even though I was on the other side of the planet. It’s an amazing song by an amazing artist.
5 Seconds of Summer aka 5SOS are an Australian band. I saw them when they supported One Direction at Wembley Stadium 8 years ago. To be honest, I thought they were hands down better than 1D. Well worth a watch.
You mentioned if there were any suggestions of bands or music..... where to start! You will hopefully have so many you won't know where to begin. You could be quite a while discovering Australia. Enjoy. Love what you have covered so far.
John Farnham!!!!! Gotta listen/watch the live versions of his signature song "you're the voice" And also his version of Help by the Beatles...With the Melbourne symphony orchestra....Promise you'll love it! He is a national treasure 🇦🇺❤️
This made me feel patriotic and I'm not even Australian haha! But in all seriousness, it was beautifully made and that children's choir totally hit me in the feels! I could recognize some Australian singers here, Kylie Minogue (the woman sitting by the piano, she's huge both in her native Australia and here in Europe, has had some success in the US) and Troye Sivan (UA-camr turned pop artist), and a third male actor whose name completely escapes me atm but he has a surprisingly good singing voice! :)
Yeah the Hugh Jackman - Wolverine might had been a little lost on Jps as he's not a big fan of superhero films. I was first introduced to Troye Sivan with movie Spud (which has John Cleese - Basil Fawlty) which I thought was about an English school however I just saw its Sputh African. The South African and UK accents confuse me a little as I'm an aussie. This song/ film clip is definitely an updated version from the Qantas one when I was a child
@@wesleygalvin9983 Ah Hugh Jackman, yes. My mind was completely drawing a blank haha but that's him of course, thank you for saving me from annoying myself about that all day haha! :)
I Still Call Australia Home was written and originally performed by the great entertainer, Peter Allen. He performed it at the Sydney Opera House before the Queen and Prince Phillip in 1980. Interestingly, Hugh Jackman portrayed Peter in the Broadway musical The Boy From Oz.

Love your reaction , how emotional it appeared to make you. Theres plenty of version over the years and this is the first time ive seen this one. And i had a few tears been a fucking proud Aussie!
I heard +Peter Allen sing this live in 1982 as a child, at the World’s Fair, Knoxville, TN. My +mom was from Croydon, Sydney; I have citizenship through her, and I’m the only one who hasn’t been down yet. One day. 🤞🏼
The school choir singing in Longreach is significant because that town was the birthplace of Qantas 😁 I recommend that you explore a little bit of the opening ceremony of the Sydney 2000 Olympics.
Yes, this was to celebrate QANTAS being allowed to fly again. The song was written by Peter Allen a famous Australia who was married to Liza Minnelli. He wrote a one man show called the Boy From Oz and he performed in it for a long time on Broadway. Hugh Jackman played him there later, Peter died very young from AIDS. There were a lot of famous Australians in the first half of this video like Hugh. QANTAS has used this song for years, there is a 14 minute video with them all on except this one. All are beautiful. Yes, we have a pink lake. No matter where we go in the world or how great it was the best part is always coming home on a QANTAS plane. Australia always calls us home again. For music it is no contest. That would be our living Legend John Farnham singing Help live with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. He is known here as the voice and he taught The Beatles how to sing their song, even John Lennon said so. He sings this as an encore after over two hours of that voice. John is very much loved here and he was our secret. He has one of the best voices in the world but always best live. I have never seen any genre he cannot sing. Thank you.
Some Aussie artists to listen to: - John Farnham (especially his song "You're The Voice) - Delta Goodrem - Guy Sebastian - Casey Donovan - Dami Im (She helped Australia achieve 2nd place at Eurovision a few years back!) - Savage Garden - Jimmy Barnes - Rogue Traders There are so many to list!
I've recently been seeing ppl reacting to aussie legend John Farnham... "Help" in particular. He was a staple in my house growing up and it's not until now I've realised how spoilt and lucky I was to have this as a musical baseline..... his voice is INCREDIBLE. This song makes me SO PROUD to be an Australian. We are one of the oldest countrites on earth, as evidenced by our aboriginal heritage, but one of the youngest according to western history. The beauty of Australia is not only in the natural blessings that God bestoyed on us, but of the freedom that we have to be who we want to be. Our multi-culturism is beyond reproach. All that we ask is that new citizens endeavour to leave past hatreds at the gate as they become Australian citizens. I have been a teacher for many years and I think the most important thing that I have ever taught my students was to value the freedom, embrace the differences and treasure what it is to be an Australian. Thank you for sharing, what is to me, a song which holds the most special place in my heart. I am one of the many PROUD AUSTRALIANS.
Red Gum is a Australian band who sing a song called “I WAS ONLY 19 “ it is another song about Australian soldiers who have been to war and have come home with PTSD. Very moving
Check out 'Yothu Yindi' "Dots on the shells" one of my favs of theirs. Also "Treaty." Then there is one of the most beautiful songs called "Bayini" sung by Delta and Gurrumul. ALso have a look at John Farhnam. Of course The Seekers. All great Aussie bands. Many more.
I'm not crying, YOU'RE CRYING! Sorry, tears coming up for me. DAL, TX moved to SYD 4 years ago and damn, Australia is friggin awesome. Aussie Bands? I've only been here 4 years but I already call Australia home.....
That song is literally a Qantas advertisement. It's been around for years and is considered one of the most patriotic songs Australia has. It was even nominated to be a replacement for the National Anthem at one point.
I've enjoyed your reaction videos when it comes to Australia. You seem to grasp very quickly on our culture. Love your genuine response and appreciation to Australian culture. Your reaction to the things you see and hearis refreshing.
Just watching this after out World Cup win tonight over Tunisia 😁 One thing that sets us apart is our fighting attitude and that we won't bow down to anyone - we'd rather take a chance and go down fighting. We lost to France in the end the other day, but when we were beating them solidly after 10 minutes you could see them freaking out that we would dare to come out with that attitude against a team we should have feared on paper.
Having been lucky enough to visit Australia a couple of times now I know exactly why the people there are so proud of their country.

I Still Call Australia Home is a song written and recorded by Peter Allen [who's life story inspired the musical "The Boy From Oz"].
QANTAS has used the song in their advertising campaigns. It is considered an unofficial national anthem.

Even tho this is an Qantas airline advertisement when an Aussie hears this ( either home or afar ) they still gets that amazing feeling of pride.
I am 75 and whenever I hear this song, my heart swells with pride and love. Thankyou for sharing this, it's a very emotional song.🌺🦘🇭🇲🐨💕
@@monique8641 lol your too funny
This song will have any Australia with tears in their eyes.
Went to a Bette Midler concert in Sydney where after paying Tribute to Peter Allen (the Singer and Song writer) she sang this song. That bitch knew she would have everyone at the concert fully welted up. WOW. What a memory.
I’m not an overly patriotic Aussie but even I shed a tear of pride when I watched this for the first time before work one day. I do consider myself very lucky to have been born in this country.
Same here. And this version is beautifully sung too.
Craig
I was overseas when this song was on the radio. Being an Aussie the tears flowed.
"" I Still Call Australia Home " is a song by Peter Allen, it was used as an advertisement for QANTAS - the Australian airline. ( Hugh Jackman was in that ad who portrayed Peter Allen in " The Boy From Oz " on Broadway. )
Some singers and bands you could listen to are, John Farnham, Jimmy Barnes, Kylie Minogue, Silverchair, Midnight Oil, INXS, Powderfinger.
Xx
Actually these days the UK is number 3, mostly it's Chinese, Indian and other Asian countries. New Zealanders and Americans are also up there too.
@@carriebizz yes I think Brits did a lot of emigration in the 79s & 80s more than now x

Kyle? I didn't see Kyle (assuming you mean Sanderlands) in this corporate Qantas advertisement
I'm a proud Aussie and this always makes me cry as it a very patriotic song and also my eldest is living in the US for nearly 2 years, I want him home
Many British people have visited Australia (including myself) and we have relatives living there. It is a beautiful country.
There's an old joke.. what does a poem and a Jumbo Jet in common? The jumbo jet stops whining when it gets to Sydney airport lol
God bless our dear dear King Charlie
@@Bellas1717 nah..just a wimpy voice. And I don''t like his music if it can be called that.
@@sg3596 I'd love to know what music you listen to if you think his music or voice is bad.
@@Gamesta100 Does not matter what I listen to, my original comment stands. His voice is not bad, it is pathetic.
Bands and singers you need to hear are Cold Chisel, Jimmy Barnes, John Farnham, Jessica Mauboy, Delta Goodram amongst numerous other artists.
Yes, and Guy Sebastian: Standing With You, Believer, Choir...
This song has been the Qantas theme song since about the mid 90s - and possibly even earlier. It was initially written by Peter Allen.
I just looked it up. 1980 where has that time gone. Peter died in the early 90s from memory.
Incredibly beautiful. Never been to Australia yet couldn't keep my eyes dry. Well done!

Or Great Southern Land by Icehouse and amongst all the others named.. the only Australian born artist

Believe it or not it’s actually just an advertisement for Qantas airlines of Australia. Brilliant ad of course.
So you should , you may have
A few problems every now and
Again. But it's a magical land.
Blessings!

You recognized Hugh Jackman, most noted for his Wolverine role.
And yes, it is a very patriotic song full of symbolism.

Thank you.

I've only been here 4 years but I already call Australia home.....
To see you smile at the same time I did was an awe moment you definitely need to visit us down under
That song is literally a Qantas advertisement.
Thanks, I’ve got tears running down my face.
