3 people can sit easily in the rear seat considering average Indian height of 5'7" , 5'8"... EcoSport is very good value for money!

I have the same model bought just after the facelift launch... The minimum mileage I get on this car in city if I drive at maximum speed of 50-60 kmph is 12.5 kmpl. And on highway if I drive at 90-100 kmph I get mileage of 16-17 kmpl. I think this is reasonable given the size and driving pleasure you get at the given value.
Though I got few hiccups such as engine malfunction warning light for no reason, No auto door lock problem but they were rectified by software update by ford service center.
Are u talking about petrol variant....I hear it's mileage less than 10 kmpl in city...

If you want more space get the Creta and if you want more features for the money, then EcoSport Titanium provides a lot more than Creta E+ 1.4 Diesel variant.. Both variants cost same..

Ecosport Ecoboost feels well packed for performance oriented feel but do note of low profile 17 " tyres where consumer are not happy with it. May google on to it or search mycarhelpline forum for further info

Maruti DZire is a better choice than both.. Agree it is rated poor in safety ratings but so is the Aspire n Amaze that also have average build quality..
DZire ZXi is priced about 15K more than Aspire Titanium on road.. but is much faster, more smoother, has a better cabin in looks and space..
Aspire has a better ride quality than the DZire..
Amaze is somewhere inbetween both the above and is not a winner in any department above the other 2..
Also with 50K cheaper than the Aspire and Amaze is Tata's Tigor XZ+.. It is fantastic value for the money.. just the best in class..
Also if you want Petrol automatic, again Tigor XZA is the best value followed by DZire ZXI AMT..

If Diesel, XUV Auto by flipping 3rd row feels even better. If Petrol then there is slight more jerk in creta Auto and Ecosport Titanium Plus Auto can end up better as value
@@mycarhelpline i was shocked to see that Ford ecosport's petrol auto was giving lower fuel economy than creta petrol auto in both city and highway.
If ur run is less than 1000km/month then don't even think of buying diesel varient, it is non lucrative.
No competition to creta petrol auto in 5 seater configuration yet at that price point. U should wait for mahindra xuv300 if they launch it with petrol auto. Ecosport has very stiff ride compared to its all the competitors and low cabin space especially in rear seats.

For uphill drive which one is best Ford ecosport titanium diesel or Ford ecosport titanium plus petrol.. both are same price but which one is good for mountain ride?
Although - Diesel is more peppier and torquey, but Diesel Engine required higher air intake and if you drive too much on higher altitude then Petrol car been light in weight and requires relative lesser air intake perform better

About 10% less for automatic. But in highway, there'll only be a very small difference.
Hi...i just took a test drive today of petrol s variant...but I'm going for titanium model...here in blore it is 11.5 with excluding offers...i took a testdrive in higway...the experience was awesome which no car gave me so comfort and thrill of confidence to drive...its 3cylinder normal petrol engine of 1500cc...i have also took testride of nexon as well but I'm not feeling to buy nexon...ppl say nexon as stability but i didn't feel like that this ecosport has build quality...so I'm planned to go for ecosport titanium model...but I'm confused about some rumours...plz clarify any1 to go for it honestly.
1. Is this ford will live india like Chevrolet?
2. Will the service and spares are cheaper like maruthi or tata to maintain and affordable?
3. Should i go for petrol or diesel?
Bcoz...in india they say soon like delhi they prohibit diesel cars to go in blore as well but don't know when...future is petrol cars but mileage is low when i checked in tachometer it was showing like 9.5km per litre...is this the same mileage of petrol?
4. Diesel car comes in turbo engine but not petrol...diesel car has 4cylinders but petrol has 3cylinders...but sales man says petrol car is built powerful if u want to keep it for longtime go for petrol as when they stop diesel cars no idea...so I'm confused in this bcoz just 30k differs for diesel if i go for diesel i get good mileage but afraid of rumours of getting stopped in future.
5. If i go for petrol i can get convert into CNG in future but can't in diesel cars?
6. Titanium is worthy and value for money i felt rather going for s variant.
7. Some ppl saying go for nexon as same and better future than ecosport...as nexon as rain sensor to get closed sunroof automatically and it has wider sunroof than ecosport...nexon has modes to drive...spacious in rear ceat to sit.
But i have become mad abt ecosport sportive look than nexon in this segment.

Hi Sir, I am looking for buying BS6 Ford ecosport but I am confused between petrol and diesel engines. Can you please advice me which is a better pick.
I know disel is 4 cylinder with lesser 99ps of power but higher torque whereas petrol is 3 cylinder with 120ps power but lesser torque.
I want the fun to drive characteristic which will be my top requirement. And not much bothered about the time to recover the investment on the car.
Note: My pic would be S variant (manual transmission)

Dear Friends, don't go for the S variant of Ford Ecosport. The low profile tyres 50 size fitted in S variant create lot of jerks in journey through rough roads. I own this S variant just two months back. Now I am planning to dispose the vehicle since it do not render comfortable ride in off roads . But, the other variants including the new Thunder Edition of Ecosport have no such problems while in riding in uneven paths.60 sized tyre profile is the best matching for Ford Ecosport. Low profile tyre gives smooth ride only in good and even surfaced roads. In Indian conditions we cannot always expect such smooth roads. Remember friends, do not select S variant of Ford Ecosport even though it equips with lot of additional features than all other variants which may attract you much.
Xuv300 vs ecosport petrol only. Overall best to buy under 10 lakhs. Regards
