i was never fan of eco sport but now the new looks and interiors changed my mind. Good job Ford
Say what you want to but the ecosport still looks fresh and is a solid car to drive and overall I still love it.
looks far better than the competition. Hope they will price it competitively
one can now buy a smartphone with every feature within 10k. so why it is so hard for car manufacturers to put a decent touchscreen with navigation on cars worth lakhs? look at tata Hexa for example, top model comes around 20 lakhs on road, wonderful car with all features but have a laggy puny screen
U r right bro... they neither care for brand image nor the customer's... what matters to them is only money....

Cars are meant to be driven and not play around with the touchscreen music system.
This causes huge distraction.
Adding 20 airbags to the car and making it safe for the passengers is good, but, adding an iPad like infotainment system isn't good for other cars and pedestrians. A 5"-6" touchscreen is ample, IMO.
sir, the screen has been revamped and now please use the nexon as it is was recently tweaked by Harman
Riding down from Udaipur to Ratnagiri in my EcoSport was dream. As I was watching this review many trip memories rushed down my mind. Specific one instance was while driving down from Pune to Ratnagiri we should from the highway track to the single road track from Karad onwards.ecosprt was a dream to drive on the track which was full of narrow Ness and hill terrain. Never did I feel tired or thought of an excuse to stop due to fatigue though Pune-Ratnagiri is 350 KM's. Long. Driving was a pleasure on that winding and different terrain due to EcoSport's petrol engine response.
Who wants to see a drag race between Ecosport, Brezza and Nexon?
Ecosport has always been impressive ! The new one seems much more superior in terms of looks, comfort & performance. 👍🏻

Why is there no navigation? What good is that bigass touchscreen for if you forget to put navigation system
I have booked Ecosport Titanium plus. One problem I observed is; Even when the car is centrally locked, the Car can be opened from inside 'normally' while in motion (without driver's intervention)... This can cause accident if someone (especially children) accidently opens the door while the car is in motion.
What Ford people is saying is it is an added safety during crash. Is it so?

What about the mileage of ecosport Petrol .. can any owners report ? Also, about the A-Pillar. I've heard it being mentioned in almost every review. Is it a problem considering the Indian traffic conditions. Finally, is Creta Petrol a better option than Ecosport Petrol. The power figures are almost similar. If anyone had driven both, can you share your feedback pls.

Ford should have added automatic gearbox to diesel motor, and a rear AC went , and new pair tail lights for better package..
diesel auto is sure a miss
rear AC vents no at all a must as the AC compressor is 110 cc as opposed to 90 of most competitors, so its more powerful AC,
New tail lights for WHAT? SHow off..
See new Ecosport has improved leaps and bounds where it matters, rest all are just cosmetic

Danish, I am a Ford driver for past 4 years and indeed had the same question each time I went for car service and the point they made is very logical... With a 1.5 litre engine they do have diesel auto gear box technology but with bad Indian roads and technically harsh driving since no rules are followed about lanes with frequent breaking and gear shift, that might burn the auto clutch which is shifting gear for you which will increase the maintenance for customer but on the other side its easy to implement the technology in petrol engine cvt technology.... Good news is thrilled new ecosport gearbox for automatic is borrowed from its brother Ford focus which is one of the most powerful hatch on UK and Europe
Ponygt 662 your views on dragon 1.5 p engine in comparison to 1.5p I vtech engine in terms of performance, endurance & reliability?

Thanks to autocar for making us aware of face-lift ford ecosport.. It can lead sales chart if ford changes plain instrument cluster adding rear ac vent and top of the line model with sunroof.
What about rear seat bottle / coffee cup holders? Do they exist or like the aspire are they forgotten here as well?
yes they exist but only in Titanium and Titanium+

Poor under-thigh support was the sole reason I decided against buying an ecosport earlier this year, despite of loving the car overall.. You mentioned seats are broader, but has the seat base length been increased too?

I think it's FORD's business plan to introduce Sunroof in 2019 with Platinum and Platinum+ models this will keep Ford up in the competition of compact SUV segment.
Ford Smartly end this face lifted variant till Titanium + for now.
I believe Sunroof will come to India with Platinum and Platinum+ models, however i can't wait anymore, i am buying the top end 1st in Navi Mumbai.

Absolutely a perfect compact suv and I think upgraded one will make it again remarkable in terms of performance, build quality, price tag as well. As we all know ford is known for its Rigid structure I hope it would bring a smile upon consumer

I was planing to exchange with my 2013 Ecosport but so disappointed because no Automatic in desel and no rear a/c.
Autocar India please do comparo review of Tata nexon ,Ford EcoSport ,Maruti Vitara brezza.
No use to compare any car with Maruti Cars irrespective of quality and handling and other negatives Maruti has their own customers who simply buys their cars blindly for them it is just MS tag is enough to make them go for buy, now when come to comparisons of Nexon and Eco sport I did test drive both of them are really great cars, more than any other brand both this cars are definitely going to damage the sales of Hyundai which they lacks good petrol engines, because now a days people are more prone to buying Petrol Cars then diesel if I m correct..

not having navigation is not doing justice to such beautiful screen...also ford said that it will come with b&o music system...wat about that?

India is extremely price conscious, so Ford just skimped them to provide more important features

The blacked out version is Titanium S. I also want that but don't know if it will launch anytime soon. The 17 inch design is same as the 16 inch but the 17 inch on Titanium S will look different.

But the suspension in city ride is very firm. Even though its great for highways, but city is where you drive your vehicles the most.
