I love this you are the only man that i have heard of that crochets
Your so good at detailing your work. I have learned a lot from you thank you
Thank you for this tutorial. Great gift idea! You mentioned hardening them with cornstarch. I have used regular starch before. How did you do that with the cornstarch and what was the mixture you used?
I find that cornstarch attracts bugs. So I have to make sure I store the snowflakes in airtight containers that the damn bugs can't get in. Your tutorials are the best I have ever seen, for being clear, plus good lighting and sound.
I use cheap wood glue , 1 table spoon to 6 of water mix well , works fantastic ..
You don't know bugs till you live up in Texas....bugs year round!!! Uuughh!!!!!!
you dont have that hook in your collection ???? wow, that DID surprise me :)

I have never “ hardened” a piece before. What do you recommend?
Hi Mikey
Those of you who have made this, would you call it a beginner or intermediate pattern level?
Nana D I would say advanced beginner. But since we’re being guided step by step, it’s definitely doable for a beginner if they pause the video & take it slowly!
Reviewing “this again” doesn’t help. Just slow down some so I can follow along.
I'm like tgat too but what I do is get a nitebook.
Label it, round one. Write down each step.
Same with round two.
Make notes that YOU understand.
That's how I do it.
Once you make one or two practice ones, you'll get it perfect. Go back to your notes and make sure you got everything simple and easy to re read later.
Everybody has to practice more than once usually to get it "down pat."
Work one round at a time. Get each single round mastered. Then, move to round two...master that even if it takes 5 times. Then go on to round 3...
That's just my way of doing it.
I hope it helps you...we all learn different but in thecend, we're simply working rounds. Merry Christmas!!
