I just bought one with a fried battery. The bike jump started and ran but when I switched it off there wasn't even power to light the dash lamps. I will test stator and regulator output before fitting a new battery. The battery got roasting hot when on a trickle charger.

Some how it resets the fuel injection. I have 2 of these bikes. Most dependable motorcycle Iv ever owned.
