    Great video been contemplating using crackle paint. I recently uploaded a video on my kitchen dresser recycle where i used chalk paint. I could have used this then 😁 xx

      It's really easy to do. Just make a test board to be able to adjust the size of your cracks if necessary.

    It is a good way to achieve the crazed effect I want using oils on canvas, but yet again I have no idea what the product is called and where to buy it

      This technique works with water based products e.g. acrylic paints or craft paints. The product you will look for is Crackle Medium to crackle one layer of paint over another.

    I have a very large piece that I want to do. Is it OK to use a roller brush with the crackle solution?

    • @colleenseymourcrafts5802
      @colleenseymourcrafts5802  5 місяців тому

      I think that if you use a roller it might make your crackle very fine. You could try a small piece first to test it.

    Does it work with airbrush ?

      I'm afraid I can't honestly answer that as I haven't worked with an airbrush before. Perhaps you could do a test first. Sorry I can't help.

    Thank you so much for taking the time to make this crackle tutorial! 💕
    After watching several others between last night and this morning, yours was the 1st I came across that actually HELPED ME do the crackle layer correctly.
    Last night I laid an even, but thin coat on my round mirror, thinking the medium knew what to do from there..
    How wrong I was.. 🤦 woke up this morning with exactly what you described it WOULD look like.. Thin barely cracked paint. Looked more like when oil and water mix.. 😞
    Regardless, I believe I was able to save my project, and I can't wait for the medium to dry so I can put layer 2 on..
    Really appreciated your advice and instruction!
