Excellent 👍 just what I needed, thank you and can I just say, it's a breath of fresh air to watch a video with someone who speaks beautifully, I didn't have to turn the sound down 🥰 x
hello what a great video👍 do you have any tip on how to get a transparent crackle glaze?? To wax later on to fill the cracks, if you know what I mean. can’t find it anywhere:(...
Thank you Jon for your kind words. Yes, I have just made a video on the antique crackle method ( which is transparent). I will be publishing it on Friday... so I hope that this will be what you are looking for. If not, just get back to me, and I will try to help you.
You are a wizard. I've been trying to figure out how to get my Vallejo crackle medium to work and I think using some clear PVA might be my solution. Thanks.
You will need PVA glue like smooth wood glue and a clear varnish to go over the crackle if you make coasters. If you make a frame it would be optional whether you put a varnish on or not
Hi David you can glue pictures over the crackled paint and then varnish it....no problem, or you could glue pictures onto your project and then apply a clear crackle over the pictures. I have included the link to do that process. HOW TO TRANSPARENT CRACKLE OVER DECOUPAGE PICTURES ua-cam.com/video/IMMNeX1ANow/v-deo.html
