This story is awesome. I hope he lives a great life and gets that mustang! Its nice to see something like this after all the negative shit going around
Ive been working at a grocery store for about 4 years now and while i dont have a cognitive disability i do have a mild physical disability. I dont let it stop me from achieving my dreams. This dude inspires me. Keep it up dude
EVERYONE DOES........until the novelty wears off after a few "paychecks" (lol) and then one sunny spring morning it hits you like a ton of bricks. Halfway to work and feeling chest pains from stress, you cut across the grassy median and just nail it going the opposite direction heading ANYWHERE, doesn't matter! I did that at my first excuse for a job (in '85). I had no idea what I was going to tell my folks that evening - but man, that was THE most liberating feeling in the world!
great job Nick you're an inspiration to me I'm 27 years old and I've had a job my whole life and recently I have become unemployed and how hard you work and your obstacles and the way you just demolish them really gives me strength thank you and God bless
This man is amazing I hope this man grows up to have a nice house a great job a loving family and a Ford Mustang. He should be a role model to each and every one of us. This kid is making the world greater than it has ever been
Way to go Park Cities Ford!!! And good job Fox, for reporting uplifting stories that promote diversity and Special needs acceptance in the workforce!!!
Natalie Fannin if you were an employer, would you rather have a person who can only check for unlocked doors and clean windows or have another salesman? Our taxes go to their disability.
I was texting my friend, who has a roush mustang gt 2016, we were talking about the car, which is my dream car, and he asked if i wanted to ride, one of the best days of my life
I WANT HIM AS MY NEW FORD DEALER XD XD. This dude is loving his job. I would too getting to clean and inspect vehicles. You get to see all about em too
Katie Jones you should be so proud of Nick!! I'm in restaurant management in Charlotte, NC. I'd love to have a kid with that much moral fiber, and the absolute love of life itself! You'd be surprised with the people I work with who just do not care. Just there to collect a paycheck.. Hats off to you! A great mother, with a great kid! God bless you both!
People in this comment sections saying people should give him money so he can buy his dream car, but why you force people to donate when you cant even donate him in the first place.
A hard working young guy. If you enjoy your job you never work a day in your life. Hopefully one day he can roll up to his dream job in a nice new mustang.
If someone with Down syndrome is high functioning, there really aren't many drawbacks, I'd say ppl think Down syndrome is a lot like low functioning autism but that's just not the cade
How could someone dislike this?! And I just see negative comments here! This is a beautiful story and he is so sweet and deserves kindness! God bless him and his family and I pray he lives a wonderful fulfilled life with God! Please people be more kind to others ❤️
This is so awesome. Instead of making people with these disabilities feel like outcasts and different beings incapable of everyday jobs, they gave the kid a chance and changed his entire life. Still hate you Fox News, but this one was a tear jerker.
Every downs syndrome person including my nephew are just sweet hearts. Always happy. Unfortunately there life span is about 30. My nephew died at 38. He worked and lived on his own

EVERYONE should have this dedication and joy in their choice of work and careers.

This is so awesome. Instead of making people with these disabilities feel like outcasts and different beings incapable of everyday jobs, they gave the kid a chance and changed his entire life. Still hate you Fox News, but this one was a tear jerker.
They should give him a car and let him drive it. Also give him a pass on the whole process of obtaining a driver's licence and just give him one.
