I cannot thank you enough for this documentary. I have a 2 year old son with down syndrome and I have always been so afraid for his future. Will he have friends? Will he go to university? Will he be able to handle money? Will he drive a car? Wll he have a job? Will he be independent? Chris has answered all those questions with a resounding YES! @@janeadelaidelennox7193 there several stories online about DS kids graduating from college around the world. Honestly, that is one thing I have noticed while being around disabled people of all kinds. Because of my mother, we would often have contact to a local support group for people with a certain walking disability (it is called multiple sclerose and does not only affect walking but can manifest in a variety of ways) and everyone there was nicer than I would have imagined. And after also meeting people with cognitive and speaking disabilities, paired with my own experience with my listening disability I think it is safe to say that disabled people are nicer because they know how shitty life is and try to be the most pleasant person they can be to make it better for everyone. At least that is my opinion based on personal experience.
Because he's very lucky to be so functional. I love this guy and his positivity. He is amazing. Chris is amazing! It is so great to be able to see an example of how EVERY child can learn and evolve if they are given the adequate support. I hate to see so many children and adults with down syndrome in my country, who were never given the opportunity to be the best they can, because they were born into a family that was either ignorant or unwilling to help them get there. I hate that! I know some that were never even taught to talk properly, which means that after their parents die, those people will not even be able to communicate their basic needs to the people that will care for them later on. I am sure that all of them, given that they are not autistic, are perfectly able to learn to speak! I really hate those negative examples, so it is so amazing to see Chris enjoying his life and doing things that even the "normal" people would struggle with! :)
What a great guy . This shows that with hard work and dedication anything is possible no matter what challenges are in your way . Keep up the great work Chris !

It’s not wrong, it’s just different. I think it’s probably more hygienic too.
I’m proud of Chris and his parents. I have a teenager daughter with downsyndrome and I’m so proud of her. Each day she amazes me. I don’t know what the future holds for her,but we’ll take it each day at a time.
Bruh I can't even do one pull up omg
start with assisted pull ups and give yourself time, it's the hardest exercise you can do
im so happy for him, his parents are freaking amazing too
His dad is so nice. I dont remember the last time I have seen such a fighter.
I see how spoiled and selfish I am when seeing people like Chris. They act like a spiritual slap to my ignorant face.
He is impressive! But Oh my God, what wonderfull parents he have!!! Without their consistent and with their love and work with him, he wouldn’t do this great! I am really impressed! 🥺
I love this kid and i gotta say you australian people are such a awesome breed, how you all treat him shows what kind of people you are. Nothing but love and respect for all this good humans.
Mad respect to chris, the more he achieves something, that could be, learning the basics of writing, speaking,to frickin gymnastic skills, the more he wants to succeed to more things.. so inspiring kept me smiling through the whole video.. and props to the parents too, cheers
Chris is adorable and driven, and he can fly! The back-and-forth banter with his mom is great. His parents are right to be proud of him. =)
Thanks for the kind words Synick! we hope you enjoyed the episode! Thanks for watching
WOW - I feel so much pride watching Chris. What an absolutely inspirational young man with such a bright future. Brilliant documentary - thank you for sharing your story with us.
this video strengthens the concept that people could change their lives by training on daily basis. I am going to apply this concept harder to my life XD. Thx
Thanks for watching Jiashen Huan. Lets us know how it goes!
I learn a lot from chris mom and how to become a better mom. Thanks and good job to chris i am proud of you .
Just had to pause the videos to say how inspiring and encouraging Chris is ! And his parents are two individuals who have the most beautiful outlook and encouraging to someone who may become a parent soon not just to a child with downs but any child.
Don’t concentrate on what someone can’t do but see what they can do and don’t say they can’t til you’ve at least given them a shot of trying in the first place !
Hello, I'm mother from Sindrom down baby Xabier, my friend from the grup SD share this video, I am very happy to see Chris, he is my inspiration to Xabier and he is awesome ❤️😘.
Such a wonderful example of human beings! Thank you for this!! I have a 3 year old beautiful boy with Down syndrome and this made my day, surely helps parents like me to find inspiration and never lose breath on our way to raising a child with confidence and hoping our hard work pays off eventually for them.
I can't help but smile when being around people with Down Syndrome. they are oddly cute, joyous and innocent.
humbled, but not jaded. If only the rest of us had a little bit of that.
I always thought the same thing. They're magical, it's an instant bad mood remover when see their happy faces. And they're just adorable.
They're better people than us without that extra chromosome despite varying degrees of learning and memory slowness.
Absolutely some of the most sweet and loveable people I've ever had the privilege to know.
This family shows some of the best parenting skills on the planet. Remember Maria Montessori actually worked with disabled kids and now is known for teaching non-disabled kids
Thanks for watching Ak A, hope you enjoyed!
I go to a montessori school! Jesus bless you!
I'm speechless, incredible to see how intelligent and I would say functional and ordinary this guy is! great stuff!
I've always suspected that low iq people are just bad at quick thinking but can still construct knowledge and understanding like everyone ells if given the habits and thorough patient building of skills.
what the heck i love this kid hes so positive and amazing
Hope you enjoyed the episode no thanks! Thanks for watching!😀
I AM SO AMAZED HE IS SO INTELLIGENT.. MOST normal PEOPLE dont speak this well .... i am just speechless

Thanks for the kind words Parker! He certainly is amazing! Thanks again for watching!
I've taught band for over 30 years. I have had many students. What a joy filled young man! Bravo to his parents and him! God bless and stay safe. Stevie, AZ
Holy shit! He's driving stick shift! Most people nowadays can't even learn stick!
Such a nice, curious and warm hearted person! What a champ!!!!
Thanks for your kind words piglettoes! Hope you enjoyed!😀
What a great guy . This shows that with hard work and dedication anything is possible no matter what challenges are in your way . Keep up the great work Chris !
TEAM CHRIS!!! love your drive and ambition :) i was thinking about returning to uni, now I will definetely go back after seeing this!!! thanks for the inspiration x
Hope you enjoyed the episode Kitiana! Thanks for watching!😀
I’ve come back to this video so many times. I have so much to learn from Chris’ positivity. He knows he has a disability and he doesn’t once speak disparagingly about himself. His mindset is all positivity, and that’s why he is today an enormously impressive, accomplished, and kind young man. I truly view him as an inspiration of mine, on equal par as any other of my inspirations. You go, Christopher!
His dad is so patient 22:24 is probably the closest he's come to an argument
Wonderfully introspective, compassionate, participatory, appreciative of the rewards of his hard work in scholastics/athletics/business as well as the influence of his parents - Chris is a model person, someone we should strike to emulate. Thanks for sharing this glimpse into his life.
I have someone with Down syndrome in my family so it was cool to see what Chris has been able to accomplish.
Thank you for being such loving parents, your son is exceptional in every way!
Love this! He's amazing! Makes me want to work harder.
