Congratulations on hitting 60,000 subscribers Loucas. I can't believe it's not 10 x that amount. You've got the best show in Thailand in my opinion. Wishing you continued success. 👍✌️🙏
That’s the best part of pattaya and Thailand in general….prices range from very cheap to rich and famous….as always, nice work Lucas! Oh and congrats on 60k👍🏼
That was a great find and ideal for someone that wanted all the perks without the hustle of the city. Looks like it had EVERYTHING a guy could want. Many thanks.
This is great video. This year I spent 9 days in a care home after my Parkinson's took a turn for the worse. It costs GBP 680 per week. I lived in Pattaya some time ago and I have a pension from the UK. For much less than the cost of a care home, you can enjoy an exciting life with great food and company. What a way to go. It's got me thinking.
Luv that timed cue ball break on the beat......neat little touches doth maketh the video. Great vlog again. Insane monthly rental, though offset by the utility charges still makes it a valid place to stay especially if being in Pattaya is not for you, and let's face it, we're not all party animals all of the time. Especially if you're in retirement mode.
Thank you for mentioning the noise level. I was wondering about that since I work remote. I feel like with every video I watch I realize how much I want to move there. Paying 10% of my weekly paycheck for an entire month worth of rent. Plus the bar and the girls, can't beat it...
Neat little place. It would be a super cheap “home base” if you needed one while spending a lot of time exploring the country. Thanks for the good info! Hope you and Vee have a great week and congrats on 60k!!
The noise from the street at night with the loud motorbikes would take some getting used to. There would also be a lot of dust from the busy street. I have never heard of 12 Baht for electricity before, I use 175 units a month so electricity would run me 2100 Baht there, currently I pay government rates so my bill runs me about 650.
@@PTriddy I pay 18 dollars US currently. At the 12 Baht per unit place based on my consumption would run about 58 dollars US. In condos and houses you are more likely going to pay the cheaper government rate like I do. Apartment owners almost always charge you more than the government rate, 6 to 10 baht per unit is the norm. My government rate 3.7 baht per unit.
@@wrassell1 That's a big difference Russ. What recommendations generally do you have for a Thailand 1st time visitor. MAybe we can chat facebook? Thanks for the info, starting to plan 1st trip, PH 4 times prior.
Love Cafe Pitini my go to restaurant in Pattaya for breakfast etc .Big portions lovely staff .Can’t wait to get back to Thailand in the next few months .Great content by the way .
Hi Lucas nice to see you recoved from you amazing birthday party . And always its all good to see what available in an aro6 Pattaya, even on the dark side
Again, top quality info. Lots of bargains to be had on the Dark side. Think you found one of the best. £130 per month is cheap as chips. Great info from the best Patts/Thai vlogger atm. 👍👏🙏.
Hi Lucas, really enjoy over to the dark side for somebody on budget the establishment look interesting also very cheap for the rooms and everything in house. Even the ladies were not bad looking either. Keep up the great work. Cheers Irish Paul
Use a aircon whit good EER value! There is a HUGH difference between a good and a bad aircon when it comes to power consumption! If the battery is full early in the day run the aircon at full power daytime and get the house cold down until sun goes down. Then raise the temperature so the aircon doesn't have to work for some hours. During night its colder outside so the aircon actually doesn't have to work that hard. Ofcourse you should have a backup gas powered emergency generator. Preferably that starts automatically when the battery starts going low. The size of the battery and solar panels depends on how much you want to run the generator... But nice if you can have a quiet area to live in during night... Ohh yeah! Don't put the fridge indoor when you are in the house!!! All the heat it produces must be removed by the Aircon! Even good if you can shower outside! Then all the moist from the shower is outside and the aircon doesn't have to handle that! Use propane powered instant water heater!
so many dont want to live in the CBD and be close to the beach but access to some entertainment in a comfortable affordable place without too much late noise with handy good food and market options are required for me anyway. thanks again
first con grat with your 60k subs. what a great place Lucas and the price for a month is fab my friend well the girls all look very lovely i must say. and the food looks so lovely the place a DIAMOND In the rough i think super dooper . rob from the UK
Def will check out Petini The bar/restaurant seems pretty nice. Friendly staff! Yeah, as you said on accommodations, it is what it is, for 5 grand/mo! Congratulations on reaching the 60K milestone!
Wow, very cool cheap room. Is there same in Jomtien? Also I keep wondering about your weight loss since you post feasting with Vee a lot. Is weight still down? Thanks, Thailand Paul
$150 a month?!? That's all I would need, a bed and a shower. What a deal and you have a restaurant downstairs and across the street! I'm sure there's a 7-11 close by, too! Hell of a deal!
One rather important aspect of any accomodation given the recent fire in Pattaya especially, is, do they have any kind of smoke alarm system. It's not that expensive these days and requirements would be an alarm in each room and in any exit hallway every certain number of metres and all interconnected. Latest approved system I see can be as simple as units with 10 year internal battery which screw to the ceiling and are all bluetooth interconnected. Only appears to be one entry/exit stairwell........doesn't appear to be any exit signs either. Old days they would at leasst have a steel retractable ladder down the outside somewhere.
The apartments are a bit to far out the way plus its on a busy main road. Every time I visit Pattaya I eat at Cafe Petini. The food is good quality, I enjoy sitting outside watching the views.
So what was your take on the noise level in the rooms during your visit? I noticed a lot of your video was on the street where there was a lot of noise.
In the words of Ron Swanson" My favourite food wrapped around my 3rd favourite food". On a monthly basis it's decent price basic room but I couldn't put up with the road noise.
Most likely a Honda MSX 125, known as a Grom in other parts of the world. Could be the Kawi equivalent though which was also sold here for a while, goes by too fast to be sure.
@@Rides4Kickz Thanks. I liked its stance. Groms etc. are too small, though. I'll stick to my 390 Duke amd my Aerox for Thailand. I am in Portugal at the moment, where my ride is a Can-Am F3-S.
Soi Siam! you do get about ;-) great Soi I just booked my winter room there today. Check out the Chinese candle shop sometime, it's about 1/2 a block from Sukhumvit. Good shout letting guys know about electric and water. At b7/kWh I use about b1000/mth worth but I am a light a/c user much to the chagrin of any visitors.
nice place. Better living conditions than probably 1/2 of the worlds' people have. But rooms overlooking the main street will be too noisy. Not being near the rest of Pattaya, one would need a motor bike. The restaurant itself looks nice and I would stop in there
