I am very grateful for your video. I am especially pleased that xTool stood by your side and helped so well. The P2 is a tool and things can always go wrong. Whether it's the person or the machine. Everything has to come together and mistakes happen. Once again, thank you for your video. A valuable contribution.
I do not think the issue was with the connector, but with the back port of the machine where it pushes the material out. If you watch the video at 3:10 you'll notice that the motors skips as soon as the material hits the back / outfeed part. That's either because it because it gets pushed upwards a little by the blank metal roller thingie on the infeed side or if the wood is not 100% flat and bows up and "misses" the outfeed slot. It might also happen when the part is not completely supported on the infeed side and tilts it up a little.
If the connector didn't connect properly, the motor would just not work, but it tries to push the material and "screams" because it can't move. It skips steps which results in that rattling noise.
I do think it might help to have a sacrificial bit at the start like you need to have at the end for the rollers to work. If you make sure that start piece already is in the outfeed slot, it can't hit the case. That's why the bits further down the material worked without issues once the start threaded itself into the slot somehow.

I'll have to look into that, thanks for the info! It seems to be working just fine now, if it has any more hiccups I'll keep this in mind.
Love your videos i just picked up an xtoold1pro 10 watt to learn with and cant wait to see what the future holds
Thanks! Have fun!
@@burnstockwoodworking oh i am already. Just sold 8 pieces at the farmers market so now im all in and cranking out pieces.
great, I just ordered one yesterday
Great customer service
Awesome! It's a great machine!
Nice
Glad you got it fixed.
Thanks!
Very good to know.
After several viseos I'm nervous about using mine lol
Hi. I’m thinking of buying a second hand unit as funds are not there for a new one. Would that not be a wise decision as the person selling only has 3hours usage out of it and claims to be doing more metal work instead

😂😂

Are my own...
Ignorance."
Man, if you figure out how to overcome that issue, please share with us, as I DEFINITELY struggle with that particular issue
😆
It's always going to skip and slide. Gets greasy, dirty.
Never trusted that conveyor. Never will.
Way too spendy for me. 🇺🇸
It is one of the more premium options for sure
