Spicer Designs has a video "XTool P2 CONVEYOR....Complete SET-UP And First Use" where you can see a different design for the back conveyor parts (it's at around 14:40 in his video). Instead of the "laser sticker" that part actually has an opening and basically just slats left and right. I wish my supports had that newer design. It's probably a lot better in regards of flare-ups and such.
That is interesting! I have had my feeder for a while but never set it up. I wonder if that is version 2 that allows the laser to pass through and not hit the material as much. I wonder if I can remove the plates from mine to make it simlar haha.
Come to find out, my version with the laser printed on the metal plate is the OLD version. The one seen in the video you mentioned is the NEW version with a hollow area. I like the idea of the hollow area better with less laser bounce back.
You are welcome. I do not use my conveyor everyday but when I do, I have to drag kids bikes, a tablesaw, and other misc stuff out of the way to make room haha.
I really like how are in depth and explain everything
Thank you! I feel I talk and explain too much haha.

How much garage space do you need in front and in back of the P2 with the conveyor set up?
The setup I have shown in this video requires an eight foot long area. You need a lot of space.
@@MonkeyWoodworks thanks. I’m redoing my garage area. This helps

Thank you for this video. I didn’t know there were four long screws. I had a whole bunch of short screws… it got me back on the right track
You are welcome! Feel free to DM me if you need additional help
I have the same screwdriver. Love it lol
Same here!
Can you cut directly over the conveyor roller tracks ?
Yes you can. That's why it's important to have the right rail inside the P2 under the laser head path
Thank you! I do not know how I missed this... Perfecto..
You're welcome
