Hold on a second, I have that under my seat too. And I think I still have the master key, it looks different, greenish round design. I could make a picture. But the preowner bypassed that system with a Cobra alarm. LOL I always thought that modul is for the seat heating which my car doesn't have.
@@JDMke is it the standard procedure for key fob programming and did you ever figure out how to actually open the two halves of the plastic to check the battery without physically breaking it? You never really showed how the clip was holding the two halves together still in this video
I believe the instructions for “pairing” come with the key. If not just dm on Instagram or Facebook and I can get you a copy. I did figure out how to open it without breaking the tab off. The key is to start from the blade side and pry toward the center of the FOB.
I bought the same box and key almost two years ago, but I found that my Supra doesn't have the harness. I found a harness here in Japan. Do you guys have any wiring diagrams or anything for the harness to retrofit it?
I was fortunate enough to have the keyless module already laying under the drivers seat with the wiring attached. I finally got the harness so I'm gonna mess with this hopefully this weekend to see if I can get it working. I tried the new box and key on a friend's Supra and it worked, so there's a step in the right direction. 🙌🏼
The next hurdle I’ve been trying to tackle is programming and extra key. I was able to order another one, but the instructions are all in Japanese and Google translate isn’t giving me the most clear info 🤦♂️
@@JDMke one of those forums you sent had instructions on there, but I swore the boxes were linked to the key it comes with only 🤔 I installed the harness today and everything worked 🙌🏼
I was able to purchase it through “Yahoo Japan Shopping” with the Buyee app. I searched by the part number, but I’ll be honest I don’t think they’re available anymore.

Do you know what the part number is specifically for that key that has the lock and unlock buttons?
Took me an eternity to figure this out. The part number for another key fob is 08192-00210. I’ve programmed 2 additional keys for my car.

Autozone has a key fob tester. 🤦🏾♂️ but I’ve done similar things(plural).
Does it test the sort of FOB you have and then they can sell you a new one?
I thought about the aftermarket FOB route but I couldn’t find anything with THE GOOGLE.
