When I lived in Colorado they had eye ball freeze warnings and they were not kidding.
Eye ball freeze .
Yikes
We also have “Small dog warnings” in Colorado: when it’s so windy that if you let your small dog out to do its business, you might see it blow past your window, later landing somewhere in Kansas. 😉😂
@@altitudeiseverything3163 so glad i live in phx shoot im cold here theres no way i could live in colorado
@@Amanda-nt7tt I love it here because I hate hot weather, makes me feel like I’m dying, LOL. 🥵 That’s the good thing about the US west: there’s something for everyone! 👍

Born, raised and still a Central Northern Illinoisan here... We're prepared for this stuff! Don't forget to check on your neighbors and the elderly! Be safe everyone! 🙏🥶🌬️❄️
There's a reason Wyoming is the least populated state in the U.S. and this is part of it. I lived near Laramie for a little while and the wind blows constantly because there's nothing to stop it. It's just wide open prairies and if you do happen to see a tree somewhere, there's usually a house parked under it. Winters in Wyoming are BRUTAL!
What does the wind feel like
Good Lord. It's 70 degrees here in Pasadena, CA
When " Zero 0" is warmer weather. WoW.
Evanston? Try Rawlins, Elk Mountain, Casper, Sheridan or Laramie Wyoming. 60+ mph winds on top of a heavy dump of snow. Then add a 75 foot tractor trailer with a cross wind.
You forgot Cheyenne! The wind is insane. . Wind blowing at 40 - 60 mph while the actual temperature is also below zero is just insane. Lived there for 7 years. Coming from tropical countries I was not sure I will survive, but I did. Great people though. Wyoming grows in to you
I was stationed at FE Warren in the early 1990’s. Survival kit will save you, some of these highways go through remote areas without cell phone coverage.
We had a storm with -30 actual temperature, the -60s with wind chill. My car was stalling out between Cheyenne and north of Fort Collins. It was scary, early in cell phone history,I had a bag phone but no coverage in that area.
I miss Wyoming ❤ nothing but love 💕 I stayed in Evanston!!!
"It wasn't snowy mountain Wyoming cold. It was colder than that......" 😁
-50C here in Southern Alberta, Canada yesterday… gotta love your eyelashes freezing together 😂
Last time I was in Jackson Hole (at Snow King), my eye lashes froze together *underneath* my ski goggles.
I kid you not, it was -21 that day, I would take one brief ride UP the ski life, take that brief ski run down to the lodge (solid ice all the way down the slope), drink a warm beverage (tea, cocoa, hot cider), thaw out a bit, and then get back on the lift to ride up one more time. it was very unpleasant.
Needless to say, I've never been back to Jackson Hole to go snowboarding again. That was way back in 1995 or 96, I think.
Badge of honor for folks who live and work in Evanston Illinois as well. 👊👍
I had to wait until today to change my oil & filter. It was 43 deg. below zero yesterday.
It got up to 15 degrees today if you are in the sunlight. -5 if you are in the shade.
Do nose hairs break off easily when frozen? Asking for a friend.
😂
Only if you touch them. Same applies for your ears.
Oh my!!!!❤️
this isnt early for cheyenne.weve had below zero in october before a number of times.
Love the tag! Made me chuckle.
Yes it’s too cold! Bundle up everyone
No hat or mittens, cannot be that cold!
This man is use to it I guess....I mean no hat, gloves, or coat. A real mvp & great immune system 😅
He’s isn’t cold because he’s shoveling. The surest way to get hypothermia is to wear clothing that is too heavy and warm, then work up a sweat, soaking the inner layers of fabric, *especially* if you’re foolish enough to wear cotton, which keeps the moisture next to your skin and takes forever to dry. “Be bold, start cold.” If you’re working hard, or playing hard, you’ll quickly get warm. Never let your base layers get wet with sweat!
@@altitudeiseverything3163 I'd wear a hat at least. I catch head colds easily lol
@@MoMotivation0304 I’m with you there! I change into a thinner hat when I warm up, but always like my head and ears covered if there’s even a hint of a breeze. 👍
If u ever walk out in -15°...don't do so right after u washed ur hair. I did that once n it turned into a stiff board in seconds.
Meh the cold doesn’t really bother me either. Maybe bc I was born in January on the northern east coast. Just waiting for this storm to hit the New England area now.
In Wyoming it's not just the cold ,it's the insane wind like 40 - 60 mph on Normal Tuesday. The windchill is just ...
Snow way, snot for me thank shoe
Heh heh
The only good thing about Evanston are drive through liquor stores and good fire works
Why no hat scarf ear muffs gloves parka my god
As he warms up from shoveling snow, he’s removing layers so that he doesn’t get sweaty and wet. It’s the wet fabric next to his skin that would be a much bigger risk for hypothermia. Everyone in warmer states is hyperventilating over his lack of heavy layers, while those of us who enjoy doing winter sports, even in extreme temperatures, are thinking, “Yeah, this guy knows what he’s doing….” 👍
50 ° degrees cold 🥶 and I'm in San Diego
Wow the man has some thick skin
Stay safe everyone.
Rock on with your bad self 😎🎄
We homie don’t have a coat on?
Things in vehicles hahaha
I was taking this seriously until that fool rolled up in capris at the end
I say: do not move. Money is not worth it.
So nice to see the rare ice man well represented in this piece.
Emo Phillips is my point of reference for Illinois. I get the Blues Brothers, but they are not my generation. Emo is, and I got the reference.
Can run or hide
Personally, it’s not my nose hairs freezing that I’m concerned about…just sayin’
Matatan ^®^ Ribirin HS,
Still home get hit
Please get that bald man a hat!!
So global 'warming' is actually global 'cooling'...
Give it a rest with the weather panic... it's gonna be 50F at 7200ft. by Saturday.
Nah live in fear
I'll never understand why people like you get so upset over weather stations reporting the weather.
@@brian6391 its because it’s always “once in a century storm” “deadly storm” “once in a life time storm” “death storm” “you’re gonna die storm” “some people died last year maybe it’s your turn to die storm” almost every year I can remember I’ve gone through a couple “once in a century storms” seems a bit dramatic…
No thanks. As much as it breaks my heart how horrible California is politically and all it's other problems, it's home born and bred 5th generation. I don't shovel snow period.
Great, stay there. From Idaho.
@@thefix2573 will do.
