- Forehand, backhand, serve, footwork, mentality, blocking, lobbing and athleticism. This was my attempt to create a perfect table tennis player. I would like to see in the comment section what would your perfect table tennis player look like, by using only one player per aspect of the game. (because otherwise some of you would have Ma Long on all 8 key elements of the game haha)

Excellent and inspiring video- both in concept and execution! It provides a brief but very effective format in which to celebrate the greatness of the world's top players, nailed down to specifics in which all of them need to excel. On a more "human" level, these are the same basics to which we amateurs aspire, study, and practice in order to improve our games. Bravo.
I like this video. I agree w/ most suggestions. Except BH should go to Fan Zendong. Athleticism to me goes to Ma Long. He's like a robot. He can play at 100% for extremely long times.

I would definitely take wang hao forehand over kreanger, both of their games are centered around their backhand, but wang hao is the much much superior player
Fh: ma long beacause of his stability and power being together
Bh: fan zhendong, cause he is universal and fast when he already has power and explosivness
Serve: i agree with schlager, i use a lot serve in my pocket either, so opponent won't be ready for every my serve when i does
Lob: xu xin, but i'd choose mizutani, he's just trying to not lose point when another trying to win, that's very good tactic
Footw: in footwork best players is players who's playing style is in 3rd zone, so, i'd choose xu xin, but ryu is realy better. ->Ryu
Physical: i saw chn player in slow mo, and they're really strong. That's understantable, chn sticky rubbers need physics from their owners
Mental: it can be weird, but i'd play with zhang jikes mentality counting what he past through his career
Blocks: samsonov, just imagine when you plaing with samsonov. For me his style is counter. He's receives makes opponent attack first, but it's not easy, and more, he almost perfectly knows where you could attack and makes harder situation to attack
In mentality I would choose Timo Boll for his incredible comeback against Lin Gaoyuan
Mentality: Zhang Yining
Mizutani is also a crazy lobber
Wang Liqin is a Terminator with his physique.
Oh sang eun best blocker
He was one of the toughest opponents for many great players such as Timo Boll
