    “One person per planet?”
    No Roxy, you can’t just make up your own Mjolnir rules.

    I think the reason 2014 Thanos was more dominant was simply effort. I think 2018 Thanos was over confident. And 2014 Thanos just saw Thor cut off his head. 2014 Thanos took them as a genuine threat.

      Agreed! 2018 Thanos had almost a calm, cool demeanor the entire time. He casually talks with Strange on Titan, tells Tony that he respects him, he really does feel justified in what he’s doing, he doesn’t want to hurt people just for the sake of hurting people. But 2014 Thanos as seen in the movie just gets fed up with it, and finally says what I’m about to do to you and your annoying planet I’m going to enjoy.

      People just don't understand that Thanos greatest weapon is his in battle strategies! That is his intellect, he can think on a dime! In combat, sometimes you have to think real quick. People don't understand if everybody didn't arrive Thanos, would've did a ceremonial killing. Meaning he would've held off his forces and would've finished them 3. Period

      The Infinity War Thanos had made peace with his mission. He simply wanted balance. His philosophy was fully developed.
      Endgame Thanos was unaware of the Avengers, had not fought them and as far as he’s concerned, he defeated them in the future and so had every reason to be over confident.
      In summary, Infinity War Thanos was a lot more mature than Endgames’.
      Great movie, I couldn’t have asked for more. They did good.

    Roxy is so clueless LOL! Thanos is almost on par with Odin. His endurance and stamina are off the charts. Iron Man and Captain America are nothing to him. Thor would've given him more of a fight but he was at his weakest point. Thor hadn't been in a fight in 5 years and wasn't anywhere near combat ready. Iron Man, Captain America, and Thor are lucky that Thanos didn't kill all 3 of them before reinforcements arrived.

    • @shill1444
      @shill1444 5 років тому +16

      THIS! Great point.
      Thor is an alien being, over 1500 years old and can survive the blast of a star. Even at full power, he was still no match for Thanos, that shows you just how powerful the Mad Titan was.
      Cap and all his super soldier abilities with an alien metal shield and an alien machined hammer was a challenge but still not enough.
      Tony in a multi layered titanium forged nano-tech suit, with all his intelligence STILL had to use a sleight of hand trick to get the stones and use them to kill Thanos. That was the only way to end all of this.
      People are also forgetting the fact that Thanos couldn't do shit until Odin was gone and Asgard was destroyed. The timing of all this was NOT coincidence.

      Roxy being clueless is not a sudden thing. "I feel like theres just one person on each planet thats worthy" Furtherijg this narrowmindedness by stating "I dont have any reason I think that I just do". And yeah Roxy,there are likely more worthy people on Earth. But not many amngst billions. And those handful of indviduals across the planet and/or cosmos. They havent tried wielding it nor are aware theyre worthy. Sooooo SHUT THE HELL UP PLEASE!!!

    • @DeathbySkullfxxx
      @DeathbySkullfxxx 5 років тому +8

      @FlickTalk That was Thor at his highest power level fueld by rage... and it was Magic vs magic. Roxy didnt mention anything at all about Stormbreaker... her entire argument was how powerful Thanos was vs Hulk with 2 stones(despite not using them) juxtaposed to his fighting sans stones vs the Trinity. He whooped the Hulks ass. So her observation was shit... Thanos wasnt using the stones. Aside from it being clear visually the Russos verified this as well. So... Thanos who whooped Hulks ass seems capable of beating the Trinity of Iron Man,Cap and fat Thor... especially since he beat fit Thor on the ship pre Stormbreaker.

    • @geo32573
      @geo32573 5 років тому +5

      @FlickTalk oh really? Did you watch Endgame? Thor was obviously out matched and never got to use the blade of the axe on Thanos' sword. Thanos parried or avoided every swing. Thor was out of his league in that fight, even with the Battle Axe. Now had the fight taken place 5 years earlier? Then yes, possibly a different outcome but we're still talking about a universal threat in regards to Thanos. So the outcome isn't guaranteed. Maybe you should do more research before talking about things you clearly don't understand.

      I love falcon, and I understand why he got it. 1. Bucky is not in the right mindset to be capt America right now. 2. Sam has been one of the most loyal, courageous people...but who's going to lead the avengers? I don't think Sam can lead them, just bc against a big bad, isn't he more a liability than anything else? I just don't see him being an actual threat to any big villains. But we'll see. I'm looking forward to seeing where they go from here.

    • @thejanusproject32
      @thejanusproject32 5 років тому

      @@roshieifra I'm with you on that one. With the Original Avengers completely split who knows. Black Widow, Tony Stark and Captain America out of the MCU, Thor could be hanging out with the Guardians, Professor Hulk unknown and most likely Hawkeye retiring with his family...man. You could be right with Sam being the leader, but apparently Captain Marvel is going to be the leader of the next Avengers.
      My thoughts on this as I write this is Captain Marvel Leader of the next Avengers, Spider-Man, Scarlet Witch, Ant-Man with The Wasp, Sam Aka Captain America and Dr.Strange. Rounded off with Black Panther.
      Then again, they may just completely start introducing new heroes and heroines. Who knows. But I'm planning to stay alive as long as I can to see how they do it. Because I don't know about you, but the last 11 years of Marvel movies? Have been pretty damn good (albeit I did have superhero fatigue at one stage, but I am ashamed to have had that in the first place)

She was the one who gave Steve ideas of how to navigate the spy life, perfectly exemplified during the escape through the mall scene. Even the Black Widow movie turned into a boring action hero movie rather than exploring her spy skills.

    As for Tony dying I thought him having a kid was plot armor as soon as I saw he had a kid I was like welp no way hes dying.

      @brianjones8432 5 років тому +1

      The reason it really doesn't make sense, or at the very least you have to REALLY stretch to answer it, is because in whatever timeline Cap aged in, it's either radically changed and altered now because he got involved there as a hero, or he supposedly spent the entire time tied up in Peggy's basement as a sex toy.... Somehow going for 70 years without being noticed?? And you need a pad to get back, as established by the film. He didn't come back on the pad they were using to send him with, so how did he get back?
      Granted, they could answer this question later as well, but it's still a very valid question. As well as, how did Tony craft a glove for the stones that only a magic dwarf could make with the help of a dying star only one movie ago? And THEN, use the stones in his own normal glove? There are tons of little things like this that simply don't add up. But thankfully, the movie is strong enough to make most, including myself, look past all these tiny inconsistencies and enjoy it anyway.

    • @rickvanboberson
      @rickvanboberson 5 років тому +1

      Brian Jones Tony’s entire suit is nano tech and they cut the original gauntlet off of Thanos they could have easily taken it and studied it before they made the nano glove. As his suit is nano as well “hold these rocks for a few seconds” doesn’t seem like an impossible command for a suit that holds massive cannons on its back seamlessly
      As for Cap I assume he gets involved in that timeline as a hero and that’s the divergence I don’t think he tries to hide that he’s back. So we have a who other timeline of cap active at Hydras peak

      @@rickvanboberson "Tony’s entire suit is nano tech and they cut the original gauntlet off of Thanos they could have easily taken it and studied it before they made the nano glove."
      Sure, but you have to make those stretches, or flat out assume that his nano-tech can recreate the "magic" of the dying star and such.
      "As his suit is nano as well “hold these rocks for a few seconds” doesn’t seem like an impossible command for a suit that holds massive cannons on its back seamlessly "
      Again, you're stretching and making assumptions......
      "As for Cap I assume he gets involved in that timeline as a hero and that’s the divergence I don’t think he tries to hide that he’s back. So we have a who other timeline of cap active at Hydras peak"
      And that's fine, but still gives no explanation as to how he got back..... Yet again, you could make assumptions and stretch, but there is nothing explicit here to answer it. There are a ton of things like this throughout the film. As well as things that outright make no sense..... why didn't Thano's ship expand the moment it came through the portal? It should have literally taken the walls down the moment it appeared. And why did it fly up? It was upright.... So if it's traveling, essentially horizontally through space, it should have gone across, not up..... How in the holy shitballs did anyone survive the annihilation of the Avengers facility??? LOL.... I mean, that was outright BS..... LOL......There are plenty more things like this, and I certainly wouldn't fault someone for being pulled out of the movie by them. :)

She was definitely going through her own crucible. Tony Stark also going through his own crucible and seeing him bring back events from all the predictions he had of the upcoming events was a nice moment. The arguing scene with Tony Stark just pissed off at Rogers was so good. There are so many callbacks to all the other films and you get those moments in this film.

    • @shill1444
      @shill1444 5 років тому +1

      Agreed. I think they missed this point. I would say 2018 Thanos was more assured of his cause because he was further along on his path. He was "merciful" to the Avengers as he mowed through them. 2019 Thanos was enlightened because the work was done. He was fulfilled.
      Gamora basically said "the whole time I knew him, he wanted to do this shit." The film goes out of its way to show his mind set and patience in 2014. However, in the midst of battle and full on bloodlust, yeah he was fucking pissed! Behind the armor, the warrior spirit was always present. He didn't change, he just revealed himself.

      UA-cam comment is 100% mature.
      Anyway, Thanos wasn't really concerned about the avengers after infinity war. If he really wanted to he could have wiped out the entire planet to get the mind stone back. The avengers were nothing compared him at this time. Blood lust by definition is to kill just to kill. Thanos wasn't like that though, he only killed when he was looking for stones or halving a population, which is somehting he did a lot before he knew where all the stones were. Thanos wasn't just out for blood in 2014, after the video he watched of the avengers killing him, it became clear to him that even after the snap the universe would not be "grateful." Just watch endgame again and listen to his speech before the last battle. Thanos explains why his attitude changed from killing half the universe, to destroying everything.

Cap knows that the world would not accept Bucky as Captain America after everything he’s done and been through and Cap wouldn’t dishonour Tony by giving Bucky the shield that his Howard made. also, Bucky did have a moment with cap in the end “he say’s I’m going to miss you”, implying that Bucky already knew what Cap was going to do.

    After Steve doesn’t reappear Bucky starts look around, almost as if he was already looking for Old Steve.
    At least for me, it is implied that Steve told Bucky before hand.

If y’all paying attention, when Cap is prepping to go back in time to put the stones in place, Bucky says to him: “I’m gonna miss you.” He’s the ONLY one treating the situation as if Cap isnt gonna be back in 5 seconds. Hulk and Sam are expecting him to be back shortly, but Bucky already knows what Cap’s plan is. And their interaction is perfectly capped with Bucky telling Steve: “You’re taking all the stupid with you.”... Mirroring what Steve told Buck in Cap 1.
    And Bucky is the one telling Sam to look over by the tree. Bucky is the only one who knows Cap’s “Endgame”.

    This new version of Gamora being a remnant was interesting. The ending with Peter Quill searching for Gamora will be the next chapter with Nebula's help. The Guardians of the Galaxy scene felt like a nice deleted scene showing what Thanos had been up to and also seeing Gamora and Nebula in action. That whole sequence was felt like it dovetails to the scene with Ronan in Guardians of the Galaxy storyline. Also the re-enactment of The Morag scene with Peter Quill was captured perfectly again and the detail of course is spot on. This version of Gamora who hasn't gone through the events of Vol.2 and Infinity War I think is great because she has reboot with her life. The next thing was Rogers returning the soul stone to Vormir. I guess when you return the stone back Death doesn't require a sacrifice as long as you are returning a property back to it's rightful place. I wish they showed a scene with Rogers reaction to seeing Johann Schmidt as Death.

The past one, were Loki is alive, the infinity stones exists (restored by cap), but there is no Thanos because he travelled to the future so there is no danger of a snap.

    Bucky is pretty much the anti-Captain America - living the majority of his life as The Winter Soldier. Captain America is essentially Marvel's Superman. Not in regards to his powers - but his ethical fortitude. Passing the shield to Sam simply made sense. Also - I'm certain Bucky knew that Capt was going to stay back in time - which is why he said to him "Don't do anything stupid" (the callback to when Bucky went to war in the first Capt America movie).

      I repeat myself. the entire movie had a lot of fan service. 50% of my theatre was women so excuse them for dedicating a few seconds to show the bad ass women in one moment. I took it the same as avengers all assembling. You people make me sick. People applauded in that scene. Jesus western political atmosphere really just makes you all nihilists

      wolf yes. It was just feminist BS. They didn’t need to do that to show off the women. Just have them fighting together with everyone would have been badass enough.

      @@dylflah7630 I repeat the movie is full of fan service. You'd have to critic all of the movie if this scene bothers you that much or felt "forced".

    She was annoying but she is spot on about Black Widow. Over the last couple of movies her character went from being a spy to team mom.

    Black Widow film will likely be a prequel to the MCU we know. The Hawkeye series will take place after Endgame and is about him training Kate Bishop to become the new Hawkeye rather than his daughter.

    In the universe they created it makes more sense falcon got the shield. Falcon has always been there for cap even when bucky wasn't there.

    I really hope I’m wrong.
    But everyone who fought thanos in endgame already fought him in infinity war.
    No new hero’s fought thanos.
    I would have killed to see thanos fight black panther

    There were some time travel movie references in there too I think. With Hawkeye’s test run and goes back to his barn, which reminded of the back to the future scene, and when Nebula showed off her terminator arm lol I didn’t look further into any others but maybe someone else here noticed more

    End fight was good. But infinity War is a better film. Endgame has a lot of flaws, like the time travel and character power levels

      There are character power level flaws in IW too. In fact they're inconsistent in nearly all the movies.

      Endgame had the better character moments, infinity war had better action. Endgame started off slow but it winded up, infinity war started and didn t stop

      Honestly power level is a flaw in most comic book movies. Just look at justice league lol.

    Thanos wasn't using his full power in Infinity War because he had no real desire to kill the Avengers, just take care of them to accomplish his mission. The 2014 Thanos was more ruthless, that's why he was able to deal with them more efficiently. He was looking to kill instead of merely incapacitate. He also had a weapon built to kill with him.
